Delivery by spanish post service was a little messy. The system stated that I could change the delivery address, but i was then forced to go to the post office.
The notebook is fine.

Have been using it for a week now. Great for saving paper and got more efficient workflows. Pens wear out though and hope surfaces stay white for a few years of use!

It was a bit of a gamble but turns out to be a good one !
I have the flip notebook with stripes and blancs and took the medium pencils.
I really love how it writes and that even if it looks and feels a bit like a whiteboard, the ink dries and you dont swipe it out with your hand later.
I think maybe I would have appreciated that there would be a little cleaning cloth included.

I bought the Bambook DoBook Starter kit for 64.99 EUR, plus 5.95 EUR for the delivery.

The concept of a reusable notebook is sensible and it's a beautiful product. Also, the companion app works great. I don't think it's redundant with the scanning functionality of, say, the OneDrive app. The dividers are very useful : they allow you to divide the notebook in different sections.

Some room for improvement: the cotton kit was old and not clean (it probably came from a previously returned shipment). It was not so bad that I wanted to return the whole parcel, but still a disappointment.

The mini sticky notes are so small that I can't see any use case for them.

I feel the range of products hasn't changed in ages. Here are a few ideas.

Idea 1: a reusable notebook to keep track of one's expenses and income.
Idea 2: more colours for pens, maybe even fluo (highlighter) colours.
Idea 3: a small ruler attached to the notebook.
Idea 4: a small pocket at the back to store documents.

I like the feeling of writing on paper, but at the same time im not wasting paper. Look and feel of the products is nice.

Great products but the shipping department hasn't gotten with the sustainability program yet. Shipping 2 packages where 1 would do, delivered on 2 separate days. Add to that the 3rd tracking code I received but was never used. Amateurish at best.

Ordered my product on the 5th yet not received any product and tracking information says it is still waiting to be picked up…

The book itself is nice, the pages quality and the pen is.. well it could be worse, it does the thing all whiteboard pens do which is mushroom at the tip, plus one has to wait twice as long as one would think before attempting to erase mistakes otherwise you just make a smeary mess, but that’s just a user error; the scanner function on the app is pretty poor though, get it out of direct light and it can’t see anything, or tries to take a picture like it’s a 90s flip phone with no iso balance, but put it under a light source and suddenly half your page is lost to reflection. The digitisation is good, actually surprised on how much of my awful handwriting it deciphered correctly, bit leery on it being AI though, what do we know about our texts being used as training data and does it keep a log anywhere of all the things it has deciphered? Also only getting twenty scans before having to sign up for a subscription service makes it useless.

Great first experience and customer service interaction.

I tried their folio for over a wekk now and I am very satisfied with the qulity of the product.
Further, my noteook came with some dents on the cover and some pages. After contacting the customer service, they were promt to answer (a real person!) and offered a replacement unit wihtout furhter costs and suspicion on the customer, allowing me to keep my current notebook.
This gives me hope on stull finding decent companies in ths world.

I was so impressed with my new reusable notebook that I had to place another order! Such a great idea and really well thought through. This has already been significantly aiding my productivity and it feels amazing to be able to write freely without feeling guilty about using up lots of paper (in spite of valuable advancements in modern technology, I still find nothing can quite replace the physical act of writing for me!).

I also feel happy to have helped plant trees through my purchase. Thank you Bambook for what you're doing - I will be singing your praises to others too!
