I would give this app a zero if I could. This app is full of fake scammer profiles. A very unsafe place to be. I would say 90% of the profiles are scammers waiting to take advantage of you. Avoid it at all costs! Many more reviews of your scum app to come Badoo. You are garbage.

Worst dating app I have ever used. They blocked my profile while failing to explain the reason. They simply sent me the "guidelines" which I already followed to the letter. I tried to contact them 2-3 times but they never answered or solved any problems.
Never had any issue with any dating app till now. This is one is just the worst.

Badoo is the Pinacle of Enshittifying.
You used to be able to message girls (since im a boy only intrested in girls) straight away, then they added the Wave icon to send a Automatic message. that makes it that alot of people think you are a bot and instantly your matches go into the ground.

On the otherhand, on the phone app, your Filters dont really matter, If you only intrest in girls, Badoo will force Gay men or Men in general through your inboxes and you are forced to scroll through them, wich is just absolutely insane. Other people (not disclosed wich original sex) are forced through it too. wich just makes Filters pointless.

Badoo Premium is also the biggest scam / waste of money ever. You keep seeing ads, You cannot message any (decent looking) girls, and thats locked behind a even bigger paywall, so you keep paying to get a higher guaranteed match.

Then girls who change their location to a place they dont live in, wich is at this moment the BIGGEST issue Badoo is having. You need to intensely screen someone to figure out if she lives in your place (country) yes or no

They should remove the Change of country all together and force people to use their current location. And if you WANT to look for someone, you can look in that destinctive place INSIDE that country you are living in, so say. I live in utrecht, but i want to look for girls in Eindhoven (netherlands), so you can filter out all the Real-Fake accounts on Badoo.

Reporting bugs dont seem to care for the Devs either. reported many bugs and 5 years later they are still on badoo. Recommendations or other experiences dont seem to give a damn either.

Blocking people doesnt seem to work either, i blocked alot of people and some days later they appear again. So TLDR : the app is garbage.

But its a higher average app compared to Tinder/Hinge/Bumble etc. since they have more or other issues preventing you of matching with someone

It’s an horrible platform, populated by fake profiles of people using different locations just because of money. It should shut down once for all.

this app/company, promote catfishing and fraud. they allow people to use other people's pictures on profiles to catfish people, they allow people to put their location as anywhere in the world so u can match with someone who is lieing about their location and most likely who they are.

I love this platform. It really make me feel open to the people that I meet. Its true that this platform is where you can end up with your life partner with the same life purposes. And therefore I love it. The openness, the way people interact and also willing to get to know each other with confidence. Because this platform is living their purpose slogan and it is living it's full potential. But further than that it is a 5-star recommendation from me. Which mean 10/10.

I paid $159 for a lifetime membership on Badoo and my account was suddenly disabled without explanation. I never violated any terms, and support has only sent generic template replies with no clear reason or solution.

I’ve already provided proof of payment and requested either reinstatement or a refund, but there’s been no meaningful response. Under basic consumer protection standards, a company can’t retain funds for a service it no longer provides.

I’m still open to a fair resolution — I’ve even offered to pay a reinstatement or administrative fee just to regain access to the service I already paid for. All I’m asking for is accountability and a proper human review.

If Badoo values its customers and reputation, please escalate this to your billing or compliance team and resolve my case.

Well to start I like the name now the bad thing first the colors of the interface for god red, second there are several things that are wrong in the subject of locations if for example I am from Spain and I want to meet people from another country I have to change my location that there are times that I don't, that's because there is simply no option to suggest people from another country, third there are tons of fake profiles of Africans who want to scam, you report them and nothing in addition to men posing as women or OnlyFans bot to get money from people because there are no moderators, fourth in the chat you cannot send videos, audios, images or make video calls, it's terrible, the safest thing is that at least video calls are allowed, profiles that are not preferred are filtered and then the worst thing is the monetization God, like if I make a match I have to pay to be able to say hello, I accept it as long as I know who sends you, I like to send to premium profiles, increase the reach of the profile or like limit but the basics, they want our money so much anyway. I would not recommend it if it weren't for the fact that in the market all the others are worse.
