Got ripped of with an empty box. And there is no way to contact Back market about this. Their 'help' pages refer to 'report a problem' buttons that don't exist or broken pages. E-mail doesn't work either. An ideal site for scammers

Really poor experience
I purchased a refurbished phone in August. 2 months later it broke, I hadn't dropped it or anything, it just stopped working in my hand. It went blank and never turned on again. I followed the process and sent it for repair. I was under the impression from the terms and conditions on the website that it would take 3 days once received. The phone was sent 3 weeks ago and I still don't have it returned. They said they were struggling to deliver it, but today I have heard that it requires additional work. I haven't been able to work properly for 3 weeks now. I'm really disappointed by the lack of information and the lack of correct information I am being given. As well as the fact they are not adhering to their policies. The stress caused has not been worth the money saved on the phone.

Felt cheated
First order was cancelled by Back Market, (allegedly due to inventory issues), so had to reorder the same device from the same supplier at a higher price, (despite the discount offered by Back Market). It felt like the supplier had decided that they had initially underpriced the item and so refused to honour the price advertised.

About the first order: your initial iPad (grey) was cancelled because the seller’s inventory was no longer available. On marketplaces, stock is managed in real time by sellers, and occasionally an item shows as available but turns out to be out of stock when the order is processed. In such cases, the order must be cancelled.
About the second order and the price: when you reordered from the same seller, the available unit was a different color (blue) and at the then-current price. Prices and stock can vary over time on a marketplace, and a discount we offer can reduce the price but can’t reinstate a seller’s previous price once an item is out of stock.
We understand this experience was disappointing.

The phone glitched for hours after I…
The phone glitched for hours after I opened it. Stuck on an update that didn’t yet exist. I had to hard reset it by connecting to my computer but since then everything seems to work fine. Not sure I’ll bother with backmarket next time.

Terrible service
