Aylings Garden Centre and Tearoom is a friendly family business situated on the A272 between Midhurst and Trotton. Our charming tearooms have proven to be a delightful place to enjoy an afternoon tea. Geroge Ayling founded Aylings in 1934, he bought 3-acres of land for £300. It took him 4 years to pay off the loan. George, his brother Wilfred and son Anthony ran the business until 1999, when it was sold. It has changed hands a couple times since but since 2017 it was sold to us. With the excellent support of our hard-working employees Aylings has continued to grow. We are able to explore a wider range of quality products such as garden furniture, gifts and cards, we even have locally sourced products from independent creators.

I got a phone call from them a few days before the delivery to tell me that the courier will deliver my goods. That the driver will confirm the time with me.

What a lovely place for tea
What a lovely place to have a cup of tea! And the ice creams are excellent. A light, airy, spacious room with high quality, comfortable wooden chairs and tables. The staff were charming, polite and extremely efficient. They even had some gluten-free cake for my wife. We will definitely coming back. Well done Aylings!

When I was chasing my order due to delay by the courier. As soon as aylings had heard about it they contacted me straight away and resent a fresh order which arrived within a couple of days.

Good fat balls less good packing/shipping…
The fat balls seem good although I haven't had much chance to try them out on the birds yet. However the packing left a bit to be desired. The package had been tipped and banged every which way with the fat balls moving about loosely inside the box. As a result there was about a ball's worth of bits in the bottom of the box by the time I got them.
