I contacted Auto Lock Devon about a replacement remote fob and key for my VW. From the initial email enquiry Richard was friendly, helpful and professional. The quote provided was comprehensive and broke down the payment and I was offered an appointment within 7 days. On the day, Richard provided a great service. I would give him a 6th star if I could for the being able to turn his van round in our incredibly tight driveway with good humour! Definitely would recommend.

Brilliant service, and all work was done in good time. Service was very professional and it even spanned to resolve another issue i had with the vehicle (to do with the keys) helping to resolve an issue created by another garage trying to resolve the same key related issue, so I was very happy. Richard was also very nice and i had a good chat with him as he worked away able to answer any questions i had. Highly recomend and the price was superb compared to other quotes i had received.

Rich turned up when he said he would and undertook the work in a timely manner. The locks were fitted well and they look very neat and tidy. Great communications with Rich up to booking the hook lock fitting. Very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to owners of campervans or vans that need hook locks.

Spoke with him at 09.10, 15 miles out of town in the sticks having lawnmowered the only van key. New key cut and coded by 10.20.
So impressed, thought it would be days.
Have used before and definitely will use again.

After the ignition key barrel seized Rich sorted out replacing the ignition and the keys, all at a reasonable price. He was very helpful and came to the immobile car, so no AA and no dealer replacement key prices!!

I want to add my voice to the chorus of praise for a truly excellent service performed politely and efficiently. My job was not urgent but I was given a date only two days ahead. Rich turned up punctually and two sets of spare keys done well within the hour. Thank you very much!

My vans key had decided to desync itself from the van leaving it stranded 50 miles away, Richard from Auto Lock Devon was out for me the next day to repair and also fit new barrel in door so problem wouldn't happen again.

Richard turned up on time, competitive quote, fast and efficient, replaced our iffy key fob with a new one, and as a extra benefit managed to get the old fob working again. When he managed to get the old fob working (Which was done before he cut the new key) he asked us if we still wanted to go through with the new replacement fob or just use the old one that we had thought was broken, we went with having a new one as well, just to be on the safe side. Would we recommend Richard to our friends? Very definitely Yes!

Was a pleasure to deal with this auto locksmith today. Unfortunately we had lost both sets of keys to our work van, but we were back up and running in less than a couple hours. Great, friendly service, at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend to everyone.
