We had a great time on our trip! Maggie helped us book the perfect trip to Ireland and Scotland. The accommodations were exceptional, the staffs at the hotels were so friendly and everything went off without a hitch! We just wish we would have had one more day at the Dromoland Castle. We stayed at the Davenport in Dublin, The Pembroke in Kilkenny, The Malton in Killarney , and the Channing's in Scotland. All were very nice. The Dublin Pass (tough to find in the airport) gave us a free bus ride to our hotel in Dublin and we just presented our vouchers for our rental car and our hotels. We just made sure at the desk that our breakfast was included at checkin. I would use Authentic Ireland again tomorrow if I could. We just wish we could have stayed longer! I would recommend renting a car and driving everywhere! My husband paid $10 a day for international calls and phone service so we didn't even need a gps in our rental. We actually got lost once and ended up in one of our favorite places! Perfect Anniversary with our loved ones!

We had an absolutely FABULOUS time on our Scottish Highlands vacation! Our Travel Advisor, Con Jager, at Authentic Ireland did an excellent job at planning our distillery and castle road trip. His selection of distilleries was perfect especially given the large number to choose from in the Highlands. We enjoyed them all but, for the chocolate lovers, I highly recommend the whiskey and chocolate pairing at Glengoyne Distillery (their 21 year old scotch with dark chocolate opened up a whole new world for me!). The pace of our itinerary was also perfect. Con set us up with 3 nights in each location so we had plenty of time to experience the additional sightseeing suggestions in that area as well as the lovely bed and breakfast hotels that were booked for us. We chose to rent a car so we could have more family bonding time. The Hertz pickup and drop off was a breeze (getting used to driving on the other side of the road was a bit of a challenge) and the GPS system in the car was a life saver (how did we manage before)! We had one minor issue, which was an error on my part, that the local Authentic Ireland office was quick to respond to so it had no impact on the trip. I can't thank Con and his team enough for planning a perfect family vacation. I will definitely be back when we get an opportunity to visit Ireland!

I would absolutely recommend Authentic Ireland, and Aisling in particular to anyone planning a trip. We had a complicated group, some people arriving a few days late, a couple leaving a day early, and we had to change our dates a few times mid-planning. Aisling fulfilled our every request and re-worked our itinerary so it would fit with our group. We asked for mainly bed and breakfasts, a castle one night, and hotels in the bigger cities for convenience and she delivered all of those to us. Our shuttles from the airport to the hotel on the first day and back to the airport when we were leaving were always on time, clean, and friendly.
The overnight accommodations Aisling booked for us were amazing. Very friendly hosts, clean rooms, close to local culture, and great food.
There is absolutely no way we could have planned a more efficient trip (we tried to see as much as we could) taking into account our group, our sight-seeing requests, and our overnight accommodations.
There was a mix up at our final hotel regarding our reservation. I emailed Aisling and she worked on it immediately and kept me updated throughout the day, and was very apologetic even though it was in no way her, or Authentic Ireland's fault.

For a stress free way to plan your vacation I would definitely book through Authentic Ireland. I can't wait to go back and will definitely use them again.

The 13 day self driven tripped planned by Authentic Ireland went off without a hitch. We circled the island in a clockwise manner starting and ending in Dublin driving on average 3 hours each day with numerous side jaunts to take in specific sites. In general all accommodations booked by Con and his folks were good to excellent. Only good as, at a couple of the B&B's, the bed provided was a twin size which is pretty crowded for my girl and I as we are both 6' tall Americans. The country side is beautiful and the people are equally beautiful inside and out.

We were received with friendly open arms everywhere we went. Of coarse the beer at the local pubs is marvelous and the food quality and food selections offered exceeded my expectations. One night in particular, the locals took us under their wings and we were never allowed to purchase any of the numerous beers consumed regardless of my protests. We were even serenaded with local songs and music to boot.

My hats off to Con and his folks as I don't believe that we could have planned this trip on our own with notes about side trip attractions along the way.

I worked with Con Jager from the very beginning. All I knew was that I wanted to go to Northern Ireland and wanted to see some Game of Thrones sites. I have never traveled internationally and had no idea where to start. I'm very thankful I found Authentic Ireland and specifically, Con. My daughter turned 18 the day we planned to arrive in Ireland and so we wanted to try various whiskeys and, of course, Guinness. Con helped to personalize it to make it a wonderful vacation and a truly special time to celebrate my daughter's graduation and 18th birthday. I had questions throughout the process and either Con had the answer or would direct me to the best place to find out. I HIGHLY recommend both going to Ireland and using Authentic Ireland to help you plan.

We thoroughly enjoyed our guided tour with Patrick! Our tour planned by Emma Tancrid...the most fabulous travel agent EVER...was informative and took us to the best places in Ireland! The hotels (with the exception of one or two were comfortable, clean, modern and the staff friendly and helpful. We can't wait to use Authentic Ireland to plan our next trip!!

Jordan, our agent, listened to everything we as the customer wanted in our holiday experience and made sure that every one of our wishes were included in the tour that she put together for us. The voucher system they use made checking in/out of hotels/B&B's and all other venues we included very easy and expedient. She mapped out the perfect Irish experience as we traveled from city to town to countryside and saw the Ireland we wanted to see. We opted for a self-drive tour and she kept us away from the tour buses and put us on roads that allowed us to experience the local Ireland we wanted to see. We will go again to Ireland and other places and will use Authentic Ireland when we do!

We had a great trip to Ireland - Maggie Lunde helped me through the planning. We had specific time constraints, and had to start from and return to Dublin. The trip through CIE was perfect - thanks Maggie!

Maggie helped us plan out trip from Dublin through to Manchester and booked almost all of our accommodations in September and a bit of October 2016. Maggie got us in to some really great places to stay - it would have taken me quite a bit of research to find these great places and it was worth having them do it for us. All reservations were hassle free and the cars we reserved also went without a hitch. Maggie was patient with me and my questions initially and was prompt at returning any questions once we booked.

Everything was perfect , all on schedule, the tour guide/ driver was very informative and extremely helpful. finding our person at the airport to checking in all the hotels, having breakfast, to getting on the tour bus and getting back to the airport went smooth and easy. Best trip ever

Any doubts that I might have had about Authentic Ireland were quickly cast away due to the professional and friendly manner with which they helped me plan my trip to Ireland and Scotland.
I even had to make some changes in the mioddle of the trip that were promptly attended to. All car and hotel reservations were exact and problem-free. Then of course there is Ireland and Scotland..... well Authentic Ireland isn´t responsible for the fact that these are two fantastic countries to visit but they sure helped me make the most of the trip.

Terrific, our trip to Ireland could not have gone better. All flights and in country transportation were seamless. All the sights and highlights we wished to see were on our itinerary and many more. I prefer to make one contact and one payment to have all expenses and arrangements associated with our travel taken care of and Authentic Ireland provided that for us. Very helpful. Wish I was there right now though.

This was a one of a kind experience! Everything planned was perfect. Our representative listened carefully for what I was wanting for our vacation, then planned it for just for me and my husband. I spoke to my representative several times to make sure we were all on the same page for what our needs and expectations were for our vacation. I am convinced no one else had this same vacation package. All questions were answered quickly and if we had any reservations of any kind, my representative put all my worries to rest.

Then the worst thing ever happened. . .our plane was delayed 24 hours! I just knew our entire vacation was ruined. Not so. I made one phone call and in no time at all, our entire vacation was changed up with minimal cost involved and we were back on our way. My husband and I had the time of our lives.

Of course there were a few things we would have changed, but none of this was a reflection of this company. For example, the time of year we visited the island; we should have asked to be booked inside of the castle, not just a room at the castle (a couple of the castles had us in nice rooms-in other buildings on the castle grounds); and we would have liked to have gotten away from the more touristy places.

I would recommend anyone and everyone use this amazing company.
