The lads in Atlas in Swords are top notch with their service. I left my car in with a engine management light on and the car had gone into limp mode.
A few days later ( very busy at the time) they had the issue sorted and a very competitive price for their work.
The car is running a lot better now.
I can't fault them at all.
Atlas auto service in Tallaght are amazing. Staff and very friendly and explained everything to me. I had a few things wrong with my car and had gone to other garages that tried to over charge me, Atlas got the job done for half the price and within a few hours. Will definitely be going to them from now on.
Recently moved from Kerry to Dublin and was unsure where to service my car and found AtlasAutos online. On making the booking online for the full service it says the price is €220 and there is an online discount if 5%. Once I completed the booking online the confirmation email states €270 for the full service. Found this misleading to start with.
From reviewing the full service section im not confident that’s what I received. It says the interior and exterior lights are to be looked at, I even wrote in my booking message the front beam needed to be replaced this was not done.
It also states the wipers are to be reviewed in the full service document but my wipers weren’t replaced and they are in severe need of being replaced so I feel this was just not looked at.
I had an idea of pricing before booking the car in with Atlas as I did price 3 other garages in Dublin for the same work provided and it was quoted on average €490 for pre NCT service and break pads / discs, this was €670.
I brought the car in primarily as I knew the breaks needed to be done, they are squeaking louder now than what they were before the service.
Honestly I have no idea what I paid €670 for here when comparing it to what is advertised online, I don’t feel a lot of what was advertised was provided and I’ve seriously lost confidence in the business.
I did raise these concerns and more directly with the garage but I received a fairly dismissive email back regarding the situation.
Very disappointing experience. I was quoted close to €1,000 for multiple repairs and replacements, many of which another garage later advised were not actually necessary. In the end, I only paid for an oil change and full check , yet my car still failed the NCT due to overfilled oil and another issue that caused the NCT failure was not identified during the earlier inspection.”
What upset me most was the lack of responsibility or customer care afterwards. Instead of support, I was simply told to pay more money.
Extremely frustrating and stressful experience overall and I would not recommend Atlas autoservice in Finglas
Atlas customer service was extremely frustrating to deal with. I was given inaccurate information about my agreement period — they claimed it had been six months, but it was actually only 4 months and 23 days. It felt like they were simply repeating the company line instead of properly checking the facts. Poor customer support and very disappointing handling of a simple issue. I also checked the situation with other garages, and they confirmed that the explanation I was given about the fluid level “changing while driving” made no sense. According to them, the most likely issue was simply overfilling. Instead of acknowledging a possible mistake, the company appeared unwilling to take responsibility.
I brought my car to this garage for a service and pre-NCT inspection. During the inspection, the window switch trim was damaged, with noticeable chunks taken out of the trim, leaving it in a clearly poor cosmetic condition.
To their credit, the garage acknowledged the damage and confirmed by email that they would replace the trim and carry out the repair. Initially, I was satisfied that the issue had been recognised and a solution proposed.
However, what followed was extremely disappointing. Over the past four weeks, I made multiple attempts to arrange the repair via email, phone calls, and in-person visits. On several occasions, I was told I would receive callbacks or written confirmation, but these never materialised.
I was eventually given a provisional booking for the repair, but again no final confirmation or follow-up communication was provided.
While mistakes can happen in any business, the ongoing lack of communication, follow-through, and basic professionalism has been unacceptable. For a garage presenting itself as a high-end service provider, I expected a much higher standard of customer care and accountability.
At this stage, I have decided to take my vehicle elsewhere to have the issue properly resolved. I would not recommend this garage based on my experience.
I went in to Atlas Baldoyle really panicked yesterday - puncture - not straightforward - nail and piece of metal. It’s an EV and those don’t carry spares. It’s also a seal inside tyre. I live 90km away and was visiting an elderly relative in Baldoyle.
Dealt with Andy. I was really very impressed with his customer service approach - he didn’t know me - literally a walk in and place was busy but he immediately put my mind at ease when I explained the issue and distance. As someone who has worked in a service focused business for over 40 years I can say that level of naturally brilliant customer service is rare. While I was there several customers came in and also called. His approach was always the same.
Now that I know where you are I’ll defo be back when I need new tyres etc.
Big thank you to the team at Atlas Baldoyle - and in particular Andy for his excellent CS.
Poor customer service
Decide yourselves if you think this is good enough service (I think not) :
Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing in relation to the €50 charge on 17th February for removal and refitting of the driver’s seat regarding the seat belt receiver replacement. Since then, Summerhill Spares have confirmed that the original part supplied to me was incomplete and have replaced it with a complete unit. I now have the correct part and have arranged for the vehicle to be booked in on 25th Feb again to have it fitted. However, I would like to raise a few concerns before proceeding:
-The incompatibility of the original part could likely have been identified before the driver’s seat was removed, as the part was handed over loose and available for inspection.
- I was not informed in advance that there would be a charge if the supplied part proved unsuitable.
- I was also not advised beforehand that airbag-related electrics would not be worked on.
I fully understand that labour is charged at €60 per 30 minutes and that time was spent removing and refitting the seat. However, given the above, I believe it would be fair for the €50 already paid to be applied as credit toward the labour required to complete the installation of the correct part. I am, of course, happy to cover any additional labour beyond that. I hope we can resolve this reasonably and look forward to your response. Kind regards.
Their reply:
Good morning the charge tomorrow will €60 which will include resetting the airbag light once the part you got is correct with no issues. Kind Regards, Atlas Autoservice, Swords

Very unfriendly staff . Claim you can get free inspection but whoa if are not happy with the Quote and then claim inspection fee. It all became a bun fight in the end. I was insulted and embarrassed.
Dunloaghaire Branch
Business is too good for them . Never again.
Dropped my car in to the baldoyle branch to investigate a clicking noise and slow to start. The mechanics spent the time to look into it but they didn’t find anything and didn’t charge me! I will definitely be returning and telling all my friends any family about this amazing customer experience. The lads are so friendly and helpful also.
Dropped in 2019 hatchback with oil leak to Fonthill. Diagnosed as a loose sumpnut. Tightened. No palavar, and NO CHARGE! Just an “I’ll get you again”. They will!
