My wife and I went away for a quick…
My wife and I went away for a quick vacation to get out of the cold and my wife settled on the Atlantis Resort as being a desirable destination. Although the resort was nice, everything that you eat or do while on the resort is exorbitantly expensive. For example, the breakfast buffet, which was passable at best, ran us $125.00 for two people who each had an omelet, coffee and orange juice! Most of the restaurant meals for two people with a drink each was in excess of $400.00. But beyond the observations about pricing, the real concern was that our room (which was quite nice), had absolutely no hot water for the majority of our stay. Multiple calls to the front desk to complain resulted in only one hot shower over the course of 4 days. On our return home, I called the resort to complain and they finally admitted they had an issue with the plumbing and offered us a measly $350.00 credit for the inconvenience. It was my wife and my 30th anniversary and this was not the sweet getaway either one of us had imagined. On top of all that, I was sick for the duration of our stay and the thing I wanted most was a hot shower to help clear my head and sinuses, but that was not to be - cold showers only. I would also caution other potential visitors that the resort is quite large and you need to be prepared to walk long distances to get between buildings, find restaurants and navigate activities. It wasn't until the 3rd day that we were able to get our bearings and discover the best way to get to and from. Overall, a pretty disappointing experience for the money spent and pretty lame customer service from the resort. I informed the desk staff that I could go anywhere in the continental US and stay in a $100.00 hotel and expect to get hot water, but they really didn't seem to get the point of my complaint. What should have been an A+ ended up being a C...
Not worth the hype - okay if on bucket list
Overall - Mediocre for the price you pay.
Beautiful decor and layout of the entire Paradise Island.
Rooms - Poor ventilation in bathrooms, semi functional Keurig machine. Make sure to get clarity on water view vs ocean view. Also balcony has no seating in case you thought of having breakfast outside of your room. No complimentary breakfast buffet.
As of may 2025- not inclusive , very expensive for meals. Most of the restaurants are in casino. We brought plenty of cash since the atm fees are ridiculous .
For those with family members with handicaps- we felt there were Not enough handicap access - however they have scooters to rent. Some days the elevator for handicap would not work. Staff were helpful some days and some days , they had a chip on their shoulder.
Use your own iPhone or android camera with tripod - don’t waste money with the resort photographers - amateurish photographers - nice folks but meh.
We did a lot of kids adventures and they are very expensive . does not include photos so you pay for that package ($$) so bring your own plastic sleeve to carry around all wet areas to take your own photos or ask fellow travelers to snap some photos.

EXTREMELY expensive, ABSOLUTELY mediocre
EXTREMELY expensive, but absolutely mediocre in every way. It was not luxurious, relaxing, or in anyway special. I frankly felt like I was taken advantage of. Kinda like: we have you here on this island as a prisoner, we will take advantage of you being stuck here, we will bleed you dry, and then send you back wherever you came from to bring in the next sucker. I could not recommend this resort to anyone. PRO TIP: Bring your own food and drinks or risk going bankrupt. And don’t use the ATMs - they charged me $60 to withdraw $600 from my own account.
Not worth the hype! I regret wasting money here
I stayed at the Palm, they charged me twice for my booking.
Did not get a refund until a month later - staff did not care.
This is not 5* service or 5* facilities.
Pool is small.
Stayed for 1 night
Stayed for 1 night. Service was slow. But the room rates this time of year are very reasonable if you can bear the heat.
Having recently had the privilege of…Gratitude Unbound: A Tribute to Atlantis Dubai's Unparalleled Service
Having recently had the privilege of experiencing the Atlantis Dubai Hotel's hospitality, I am compelled to update my review, reflecting the profound impact of their dedicated team's efforts on my stay.
Under the skill of Ms AnastMsa Shelkoplias, the hotel has once again proven why it's not just the physical structures that make a place remarkable but also the people within it. Her exceptional guidance and the genuine care exhibited by her team have transformed my perspective, turning what was once critique into heartfelt commendation.
It's rare to encounter someone who can turn moments of unease into memories of comfort and joy with such grace and professionalism.
I must extend my deepest gratitude to the entire Imperial Club staff for their unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction. Each Imperial Club Breakfast team member has showcased professionalism and warmth beyond conventional hospitality, creating an environment where guests feel profoundly valued and welcomed.
Mr. Ragunath, in particular, deserves special mention. His expertise and attentive nature have addressed my concerns and elevated my experience to heights I had yet to anticipate.
Reflecting on my journey from my initial impressions to this moment of gratitude, I am reminded that true luxury lies in the quality of our interactions and the bonds we forge. The Atlantis Dubai Hotel, through its architectural splendour and, more importantly, the soulful excellence of its staff, has offered me an experience unparalleled in customer care.
Thus, I revise my rating to the highest accolade with a renewed spirit and immense appreciation. Atlantis Dubai is not merely a hotel; it is a testament to the beauty of human connection and the extraordinary lengths a team will go to ensure their guests' happiness. To Ms. Shelkoplias and all the staff at the Imperial Club, my deepest thanks.
Your efforts have not gone unnoticed; they have captured the essence of what it means to be exceptional in hospitality.
Poor customer service- don’t bother…
Poor customer service- don’t bother saying hello or good morning. 80% of staff just stares at you like you have two heads, perhaps is the automatic 15% gratuity included in the receipt that makes them feel they don’t have to be courteous… however they have the audacity to tell not ask you if you wish to tip higher you can 😂 Management needs to be more present to make sure employees meet customers expectations for the price paid. Other than that the place is beautiful! Blue Eyes @ The Clam Shell Bar is the friendliest of them all and Curtis at the beach entrance by the Coral also a great person!
Fantastic hotel
Fantastic hotel. Really well designed, great facilities and great service. Plenty to do and awesome beaches. Would highly recommend, fun for all the family. Great for business conventions too.
Atlantis The Royal is the world's most…
Atlantis The Royal is the world's most opulent resort with experiential amenities This is it, for real! Simply said, it was the nicest hotel experience we've ever had. Life is for living, and this resort is ultra-luxurious and visually stunning everywhere you look. You must do it if you can. Excellent cuisine and simply outstanding service. Great staff, a fantastic experience, and the best part of it all is the location itself, the famous structure. Great launch weekend without a doubt! Very kind and supportive personnel! Excellent dinner was topped off by a stunning Beyoncé performance and a spectacular fireworks display that was unlike anything I had ever seen. Elegant hotel, romantic ambiance, huge suites, excellent room service, friendly concierge, fantastic hotel bar, thoughtful amenities
My first time in a all-inclusive resort.. was good!
First time experience in a all-inclusive hotel. Not my cup of tea, but I really enjoyed myself. The room was fine, food(At the Taverna, the restaurant next to the pool, be sure to go for the pita gyros!) was fine and it's very very clean.
There's two nice swimmingpools and from there you can walk right on to the beach where you can rent sunbeds for €3,50 a piece for the whole day.
The staff is friendly, smiled and made our stay pleasent. Just as the entertainment! Lots of laughs joining and watching the aqua zumba, lol. Also the live music and dancing at night was nice to go to.
The spa was a little expensive for me (€75 for 40 minutes+15 minutes for free), but Olga did an amazing job, so it was worth it. The massage was amazing, neck felt so much better! Her "boss" made sure everybody was wearing sunscreen(haha) on the beach and made everybody smile, including me! :)
You can rent a bike around the corner for just €5,- a day (offcourse with a discount if you're willing to rent for more days). From the hotel it's less than 10 minutes by bike (no hills!) to Kos-Town. Nearby the resort there's a few nice shops and restaurants as well.
It's also worth taking a transfer to Zia to have dinner while watching sunset (bus leaves at 17:30 and leaves Zia at 21:30). You can get your tickets at the travelagancy next to the hotel for only €12,- a person.
I'd recommend this resort if you're looking for a nice, not too loud/crazy big all-inclusive experience.
Thanks for everyting!
Very nice hotel
Very nice hotel, fantastic pools and restaurants, and always good service. Our mate Tahir visited the room several time each day, to make sure everything was ok. Will definitely recommend this hotel. The aqua park next to the hotel is a huge experience for the kids, but will recommend visit the park as early as possibly (lot of people in the afternoon)
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
Wish there were a lower rating than 1 star! This place is the worst!!! They even admit it but will do NOTHING to fix it. Smaller room than the $15000 we paid for! THEY DON'T CARE!! All they say is "oh sorry our reservation center does this all the time, but yeah this is all we got". This place has NEVER been big on service, but we thought post covid they would appreciate being back to work but uh NO not only TERRIBLE service 80% are BEYOND rude!!! From the front desk to every server at the buffet. In fairness there has been a couple employees that have been very nice. Lights didn't work in our room and we waited over 4 hours and went back down to the front desk since NO ONE will answer the phone!!!!! And still nothing!!! Their attitude is .. we already have your money now leave us alone!!! I may have expected such if they had medium to low pricing but I've stayed at cheaper Ritz Carletons than this. The most FRUSTRATING part is their arrogance when they basically tell you with their actions is they DON"T CARE!!!!! Which is crazy since for the first time ever they have competition on this island with a new resort ... again they DON"T CARE. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! stay at a motel 6 and get what you pay for! This place is the worst!!!
Beware of Atlantis Bahamas business practices
I scheduled a trip to the Reef at Atlantis from May 23rd 2020 to May 26th 2020. We saved up money we don't have for a family vacation, and also thought it would be nice to help the Bahamas out after suffering thru a hurricane. Instead, our flights were canceled due to COVID-19 and there is no way to get to the resort, plus all Nassau airports are closed, too. THEY WILL NOT REFUND OUR MONEY. PLEASE, families do not make the mistake I did. If they will not stand by you and refund your money during a worldwide pandemic -- what else can you count on from them? We feel literally robbed by Atlantis, Hotels.com, and the Bahamas. They can't provide what we paid for, but will not return our money. Trying to force us to take the vacation at another time does not work...this is a foreign country and we are working class. Vouchers/coupons do not help us. We planned a vacation at a time we were able to, and, if our paid for dates are not honored, our money should be returned, period.
Beautiful Resort
I have stayed at Atlantis several times, and it is a luxurious experience. The resort is beautiful and has gorgeous pools, beaches, grounds, and water activities. Great for friends, couples, and families!
Very nice place
Very nice place. Visited a number of times as so impressed. Always something to do and the food is amazing. Welcoming polite staff also
Wonderful place but soooo costly
Wonderful place, but so expensive! Kids loved it but we were counting pennies and watching our spending so much it was stressful. Lovely food, and facilities, we had a great room, the kids loved it and it was a memorable holiday. I would have given it 5 star but the cost factor really hampered the holiday, we went home completely poor!
I LOVE ATLANTIS
wonderful experienc
the kids and i love this place. it keeps getting better and better...it s a one stop holiday destination......staff is great...worth paying extra for the premium club lounge access..
