I wanted to get a new laptop for my work. I'm a video maker, and recently my old one broke after a heavy load because I was trying to edit 5 whole videos in a row. I thought it’s a good opportunity to buy a new one since I worked hard enough and one of my friends recommended to take a look at ASUS equipment.
Since I’m working with color correction, getting a gaming laptop would make my work much easier and that’s why I ordered the Asus expert book 5 version. I should admit, it’s kinda a lil heavy because the case is thick but I guess it's worth it since my videos started uploading much faster.

asus laptops are slowly starting to lose its quality,,,last time I bought a laptop it was a top choice, and sure it was , it had:-the most advanced CPU
-RAM of 32 GB
-12 cores
-steel cover
-wide screen
-long lasting battery! Aha, here is the thing, now I notice that for new laptops the battery, the embedded ones, do not last long, all the time plugged it, but overall GOOD electronics
It has been so many years since I got my laptop
I bought this laptop probably 5 years ago, but I’m still using it and it’s not bad at all. The only thing is that it started to be slower, but to be fair, I open lots of tabs and tables that weigh several GBs. The processor is fighting everyday to serve me lol. Oh, and one key cap just unplugged, and because it’s a laptop idk how to place it back. I guess I need a glue, but it’s aight, it was the left arrow that I don’t use that much to feel the difference in my work. I would recommend it for someone who is looking for a reliable laptop.
For 15 days now I have been trying to…
For 15 days now I have been trying to communicate with Asus support regarding warranties, they ignore me and apparently do not take my problem seriously despite all the arguments and evidence, in short, they don’t care that you have any problems, they just ignore me, respond every other day, etc. For example, they have been ignoring me again for 6 days, I wrote to them again and am again waiting for an answer and the only thing they insist on all this time is that I should go to my regular retail store so that they can inspect and test my component and they are not at all embarrassed by the fact that a regular store is not a service center. I also heard about their very bad service work, that supposedly people brought in working things and came out with broken ones, and I was just convinced again and read this in one of the reviews on this site and I note that I wrote to them about this, but of course they did not answer me anything except that I should take my possibly defective product to a regular store so that they can test several problems that, by the way, even I have a hard time catching. What I managed to film on camera was sent to them, but it seems like they didn't even watch these videos.
I made the worst decision of my life in…
I made the worst decision of my life in August 2022 when I trusted Asus with my hard-earned money and bought their so-called “top tier” laptop, and less than two years later, in June 2024, the machine was bricked by their own forced Windows and BIOS update, turning what was supposed to be a premium device into a dead, mocking paperweight on my desk, and from that day forward my life became a circus of endless phone calls, emails, and chats with the most clueless employees on earth, people so incompetent that to this day I bet they still think the issue is just “the display,” when the laptop won’t even power on, won’t charge, won’t do anything but sit like a monument to my regret, and when I finally managed to push them into taking it for a repair analysis, all I got was a diagnosis of a “power management failure” and then, instead of actually fixing it or honoring my request for a discounted repair, they just shipped it right back to me, still broken, as if I should be grateful for their stupidity, and to make it worse, that machine contained over 1.5 terabytes of data—my projects, files, and memories—all lost forever because Asus destroyed my laptop and trapped my work inside, and through this entire nightmare they showed zero accountability, zero care, zero intelligence, proving they aren’t just incompetent but a straight-up scam operation disguised as a company, and I tell every single friend, family member, and stranger the same truth: Asus is the worst brand in existence, a company that sells you false promises and then abandons you when their junk inevitably fails, leaving you with nothing but wasted money, destroyed data, and the most miserable customer service experience in the entire universe.
Battery broke down
Battery broke down in month 9 after purchase. They refused to repair it within the time of warranty (12months). Despite I showed the battery report in which one could see that the batter lost capacity in month 9, they refused to repair it in month 14 after purchase.
I would not even give 1 star
I would not even give 1 star. Worst customer service ever. DO NOT purchase ASUS products. I sent my laptop to Asus for minor repair and they damaged my laptop. Made it unusable and after patiently following their procedures for 1 month to get a replacement they sent an incorrect replacement. Now they expect me to pay for shipping and send back the laptop and start over the entire process. Agents are rude and not helpful at all.

Unable to register product for warranty; serial number not recognised. Customer support was quite rude and standoffish on the phone.
zero customer support
I had a terrible experience. The customer support person, Jenny Young was not only unhelpful but extremely rude. First of all, my eyesight is not what it used to be and I told her a 5 in the serial # rather than an S. She said it didn't work to look again and I caught it. You'd think I just insulted her family with how aggressive she got with me. I didn't call to be reprimanded for a mistake. Then she wouldn't even get me to a person that could help. She made me wait while she read the manual. I had just done ALL of that, that's why I called. After all of that, she did say she would get me to advanced support but I am not optimistic. I also requested a survey which I never received... still not optimistic. Seriously a joke. I will figure it out on my own or never buy asus again. We have been long time customers and have only had this issue recently.

The computer is really bad because it doesn’t work and it frequently lags out and needs restarting. If I could give this company a zero star I would. It also doesn’t connect to the internet Very well. It is extremely frustrating. DO NOT INVEST IN ASUS
Terrible customer service
I sent in my monitor to have the USB-C port repaired on August 4, 2025. On August 22, 2025 they finally gave me an update stating that the monitor was received with a cracked screen. I informed them that it was not sent in that condition and provided photo evidence supporting my claim. I then received a response from them on August 29, 2025 stating that both the USB-C issue and the cracked screen issue have been fixed, and that they were shipping my monitor back to me. However, upon receiving it on September 9, 2025, the screen is once again cracked. They are now making me wait up to 2 additional days for a response on how they plan to resolve the issue. The customer support from this company is appalling. They have not given any assurances that they can safely ship my monitor back to me without it being damaged and they continue to make me wait. All the customer service team can do is "apologize for the inconvenience" - useless.
Subject: Deep Disappointment with Asus TUF Laptop Reliability and Support
For the benefit of warning other potential customers I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the limited warranty and inadequate service support provided for my sons Asus TUF Gaming laptop. Despite its branding, the product has proven anything but “TUF” — both in durability and in the level of aftercare offered.
The laptop, purchased at considerable expense, was intended to serve my teenage son through his academic and personal use. It has been well maintained, regularly updated, and treated with care. Yet, after only a short period of use, it has now failed to power on — without warning and without cause. After exhausting all recommended troubleshooting steps, I contacted your support team, only to be informed that repairs would be chargeable. This is not only unacceptable, it’s deeply concerning.
A 12-month warranty on a premium device suggests a lack of confidence in your own product. For a brand that positions itself as robust and reliable, this experience has been anything but. I had expected better from Asus — a company I once considered reputable.
What’s more troubling is that I purchased the same model for my daughter, along with matching monitors for both systems. This was a significant investment made in good faith. That faith has now been eroded.
I will be taking the failed unit to a local technician rather than continuing to engage with a support system that offers little value. Clearly I am not the only one who has suffered the Asus poor customer service and I intend to share my experience across relevant social media platforms and consumer forums to ensure others are aware of the risks associated with Asus products and service.
This experience has made one thing clear: I will not be purchasing from Asus again, nor will I recommend your products to others. A brand is only as strong as the support it offers when things go wrong — and in this case, Asus has failed to deliver.

Highly unhelpful and very unprofessional dismissed my request before evening hearing my out as such I’ve got no laptop, no refund and no one will assist me.
I’m down £330 and no way in getting my item or funds back avoid!
Dont you ever buy any ASUS product
Dont you ever buy any ASUS product! My device broke under 3y warranty, and they say they cant do anything and there is no way for me to return device to them and get it repaired. Dont believe in any warranty they give you, they will advertise it while selling, but after they take money from you, you will face only problems and find out that you are on your own and warranty is just joke and marketing trick. I wish there is 0.1 score to give them.

Elergic to contact customers..
I have tryed and tryed to contact customer service about the auto installer via BIOS and the issue now is that because it wants to update/install via bios its causing errors via Reliability History and its knocking my score down by alot.. Which means basicaly the software is trying to do something because we have to disable to fix it.. We need a fix/strip/looked into to resolved this issue thats been going on for a very long time.. I am getting fed up from Asus living under a rock and avoiding my and over peoples issues.. I have alot of products (which prob Asus dont care about) purchased by Asus and if you want me to go down that road of avoiding your products of which I purchase alot of electricle goods. FINE.. I will take my custome else where.. End of the day we asking for a resolution, not free stuff, give aways, mircales.. We are asking for a fix thats been going on for years.. Fix = we happy, ignore customers = we buy other products, simple..
