I want to warn the community about a "new" vendor called Nordic Astro.
This is the same entity as the now-infamous Astro Art Finland Oy. After taking thousands of euros from customers and failing to deliver goods or respond to emails, they have simply stopped communicating with the Finnish and Estonian Consumer Protection authorities (ECC).
Now, they have launched a new website under the name Nordic Astro.
Facts: Original Entity: Astro Art Finland Oy
New Brand: Nordic Astro
Status: They are ignoring official inquiries from the European Consumer Centre (ECC) regarding undelivered orders.
Please be extremely careful and avoid "Nordic Astro" at all costs. Don't let their new clean website fool you – they are the same people who have left many of us without our money and without our gear.

Ordered a reducer for a newtonian scope on 23.02.2026. Transfered 420 euros to their bank account. No response from them after one week. One of the 2 phone numbers on their website is not working, the other one is not responding. Reported them to the police. Also, waiting the news from my bank regarding the refund of the transfered money. Strangely, the Finnish authorities are not doing anything with this scam site which is operating in their country, having an account in a finnish bank and scamming people by "selling" the pictures on their website. Scumbags! Do not even think about buying from them or you will lose your money!

After months of my order, I am still waiting for a counterweight bar. How can it be difficult to deliver a 30 cm steel bar ?! I have tried all possible contact options and no reply whatsoever from the company. I do not recommend any business with AstroArt.com. Unbelievable !

Ordered filters in February (3 months…
Ordered filters in February (3 months ago). They should be delivered "within a few weeks". Last time I managed to get an answer from them was in the beginning of April. There it was said "middle of April". Since then no reply, no response to anything. Even tried to call several times (both the Swedish and the Finnish number). No answer.
So: some claim it is delivery problems but then one should at least answer the request or offer a refund. None of this happened.
In my view this is a scam and I would strongly recommend anyone to do their business elsewhere.
For my own part I guess I will not see the filters nor get my money back. Will finally file this with the police next week.
No delivery, no response, no trust
I made a purchase from Astro Art Finland but never received the product. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company, I received no response. I also requested a refund, but that has been ignored as well. Very disappointing experience.
Terrible service, unfulfilled order after 1 year
Almost 1 year ago, May 2024, I ordered 2 filters from AstroArt Finland. Optolong L Ultimate and Askar D2 Oiii/Sii duo narrowband filters. I received the L Ultimate and was told the Askar filter was on backorder for a couple of weeks. I told them I didn't mind waiting for a few weeks. Almost 4 weeks later I contacted them to see when I would be receiving the other filter. They replied that it was taking longer than expected to receive more stock and that it would be another while longer. I told them that was ok and to keep me updated. Heard nothing from them for many more weeks and over the rest of 2024 I was sending more emails requesting information on when I would receive the rest of my order only to receive constant poor excuses. By near Christmas I requested either a refund or to change my order to other items in stock of a similar value. They said they could do that if I let them know what I would like to replace in the order. 1x Optolong L Quad filter, 1x losmandy plate and 1x carrying case for EQ6R Pro. They agreed to the changes. By January 25 I had not received any of these items. I emailed again with some stern wording and asking if they have just taken my money. They gave me more excuses. I eventually received a delivery from them but only 2 items, the losmandy plate and the carrying case (which was different from the one I requested, it has no foam or padding for keeping the mount secure). As of today 22nd of April 2025 I have not received the L Quad filter or even a refund for the value of the filter. If Jukka or Nils or any other member of the AstroArt Finland team see this review, you can reach out to me if you wish to resolve this but I have now given up trying to get the remainder of my order and have accepted the loss and that you have seemingly stolen my money. This review is solely to inform other people to avoid buying anything from this company and risking the loss of a significant amount of their hard earned money.
AVOID
AVOID - I have been fighting since April 2024, a year ago now to get a refund for goods that were never dispatched / delivered, I have had poor or inadequate responses (excuses) continuously and am still owed over €300 and never received any goods. I strongly recommend you avoid.
Not bad, but could be better!
I bought a Skywatcher AZ GtiX mount for about €600 in may/2023.
The mount is now defect, and I reach out to Astroart Store, trying to get help with an RMA to Skywatcher. There should still be two month of warrenty left.
After my first mail describing my problems they answered after 3-4 days, suggesting some solutions I already wrote that I have tried. I answered back that all this was tried several times, and I requested an RMA.
Update 01/04/2025, they have accepted that I RMA the mount and send it to them. We will see.
Do not buy anything from there!
Despite appearances of legitimacy, this shop operates in the most disgusting way.
They will hold on to your money and not deliver the goods.
When you want to cancel the orders, they will ignore you.
If you insist, they will try to guilt-trip you by using sickness as an excuse while they are still very active online, especially policing their Discord server, delete any complains and ban their authors.
Only threats to use the Finnish criminal law (Chapter 28, section 4) concerning fraud, and to involve the Finnish police will make them pay you back (and boy, how quickly they paid back... They definitely know they would be in deep, real trouble).
Do not let them get away with trying to scam you, know your rights, and use them.
Company unreliable and unable to deliver
I placed an order on 17.08.2024. The product was in store according to the web site but after the order was placed it became 'backorder'. There is no delivery yet. Difficult communication with the company and various excuses about illness, office re-organization, shortage of staff etc. An official complaint has been sent to the company as a first step prior to reporting to consumer service and seeking legal advice.

I ordered an item which was out of stock in september, tried to reach out a few times to hear about an ETA. Finally got an answer on the third try in december with a long story about how everything is bad for the company at the moment (and if true I do feel bad for them). However - still no ETA and no offer to return my money and annull the order. Find somewhere else for now.
Extremely unprofessional
I placed an order for an item that appeared to be in stock, but immediately after completing my purchase, it went out of stock. It has been impossible to reach customer support via phone or email. When I raised constructive questions and offered feedback on their Discord server, I, along with several others, faced a 7-day ban for expressing valid concerns. This situation is unacceptable.

After ordering an astro camera with 3 to 4 days delivery my money has gone up in smoke after more than 10 months waiting. Late to no response on replies and worst of all no refund after cancellation of the order. This shop in my opinion is a scam and should be avoided to all costs.
The web site is still up and running and I am going to spend at least another €1500 of effort to bring this site down so other user will be protected against this sort of fraud

However, after a bit more that one month of waiting, a manager sent me an excuse message, explaining the business was having a hard time. He was likely catching-up with the leftover transaction little by little, and proceeded with proper cancellation of my order with a proper refund.
This is why I raised my note, it seems that the business is going though rough time, but not a scam. Hopefully for them it will improve soon.
No items shipped, money not refunded after 5 months
I bought a telescope, it was not sent within the specified time. I asked when it would be sent, I got no response.
I then cancelled my order, and asked for a refund and got a response after about a week. They gave excuses about being sick or something, and said they would refund the money. A week later, still no money in my account. Sent another message, they blamed the payment company they used and said the money had been refunded in their system. I sent them another message, asking for my money, and they told me to contact my bank.
This nonsense has been going on for 5 months now, but luckily I will be getting a refund from my bank. I will probably report this company to the police.
Astro Art is fraud
Astro Art is fraud. I purchased camera from them and they disappeared with my money. No camera and no money. Open case in the police. Be aware!!
False estimates of delivery times, bad customer support, money not refunded
Their stated delivery times have no basis in reality. A product that was supposed to be shipped in 3-18 days still wasn't shipped after 2 months. Very hard to get in contact with customer service. After I cancelled the order there was just excuses for why I hadn't got my money. Still have not received my refund 2.5 months after cancelling the order. Safe to say the excuse was not the reason now I would say... I consider my self to have been scammed at this point.
Steer clear of this shop unless you want to gamble with your money.
