Despite the dubious website

Despite the dubious website, I ordered a open box WF-1000XM5. I'm really happy with it, it came sealed and in great condition.
I also called them about expedited delivery and they were great. Recommended.

Open box means refurbished

The delivery went smoothly and very fast, delivered before the estimated time

Although refurbished, came with 3 year warranty, ordered Sony HT-A7000 soundbar and Sony SA-RS5S speakers

Haven’t installed yet, will update once done

Misinformation

I just ordered a pair of Sony XM5 headphones. On the website it says that they were open box return. When I received them, it said on the Sony box that they are refurbished. You can't just lie about the product you're selling... Sort it out!! Will be returning these.

Good deals

As a first-time buyer from their website, I was a bit suspicious because I never heard of them before. I did some research and made the purchase on Sunday, received it on Wednesday and they had a good deal.

Misleading advertisement…

I was misled by the way this product was advertised.
I thought I was buying something that had been returned opened but unused by a customer - “open box return” was stated in the advertisement and was what I understood that I was ordering.
When I received the item it was labelled “refurbished” and referred to as “open box renew” - I went back to the advert’ and it clearly stated “open box return”

There seemed to be a sort of sleight of hand between these two phrases which
I only realised this because the box contained the incorrect charging cable which made me examine the labelling and packaging more closely
I telephoned and complained and they sent me the correct charging cable and are processing a refund of £15. I do not think that is very generous.
I would not have bought the item if I had known it was refurbished.
The product works and seems to be in good condition but I think refurbished items should be half price or less.
