Toxic workplace

So shit of a company - don’t pay you and keep messing it up. Find any excuse to log you late and mess up your pay as per usual, you’ll be marked as late at any opportunity they can get.

Lack of understanding regarding health issues. Very toxic workplace as they choose their favourites for favouritism treatment. Quite ridiculous. VWFS should be better than this.

incompetent and zero care and support given. Like many issues online, I also experienced poor service from them.
I'd ordered, a not so cheap, Meta VR, what I received was a $20 headband for said Meta VR. When Meta themselves didn't believe me and I wasted 2 days trying to make them understand, and failing, I turned to Arvato to ask what they could do seeing as they are the ones that picked it.
Zero was the answer, we don't care and do not help, our incompetence is our copyright and we will do nothing to fix it or help you, the poor customer $800 out of pocket.

WORST PLACE EVER 0* Do not waste your time applying to join…

Do not waste your time applying to join this company, its not worth it! All day you get screaming customers complaining about the delivery or how the clothing item was received (dirty)! You are constantly micromanaged by the managers, there's no trust in the staff. You change your status for 3 minutes and you have a team leader or manager messaging you straight away asking for an explanation. Hours are not pleasant. Who would like to work from 10am till 7.30pm. If there's a complicated call, management will not take over the call they'll advise you to control the call whilst listening in. Example: I had a manager (who worked there) call the customer service number and had a huge go at me because her parcel has not arrived and that she was going away for a holiday and items not arrived in time. I followed the protocol which they advise us to do and this manager started shouting and mentioned that I need to resolve this ASAP or get a manager on the phone when she knows that the managers do not come to the rescue and take over the call. Also, because she did not get her items in time before she went away, when she returned she was absolutely horrible towards me. Those that have been there for a while are very close to each other, so any newcomer instantly feels out of place. There's a lot more negativity at this place rather than positivity. Moral of the story: DO NOT APPLY HERE - AVOID AVOID AVOID

Employees are either thieves or imbeciles

I bought 2x DualSense Wireless Controllers (Midnight Black) from PlayStation Direct (a Sony subsidiary) through a single order.

Sony distributes these orders through Arvato, before handing over to DPD to complete the final stage of the delivery.

When I opened my delivery, only 1x item was present in the box. No further delivery was scheduled. After I initiated a lengthy dispute process, Sony contacted Arvato (not DPD) and closed my dispute stating that the item weighed the correct amount and, since I didn't have video evidence that I opened the box with only 1x item in there (what?), there was nothing they could do.

It was only because I took the initiative to contact DPD, who informed me that Sony had not responded to their alert of the package being underweight (they weighed it as 0.5kg, whereas Arvato handed over the package with a manifest stating that it weighed 1kg), that I was able to get the ball rolling on some kind of resolution.

The only conclusion I can draw from this is that the packer at Arvato weighed the package with both items and removed one of them before sealing the box. This could either be due to negligence (imbecile) or to steal and resell as they're out-of-stock nearly everywhere (thief).

Which occurred in this case, I guess we'll never know. What I do know is that I'll never use Arvato for as long as I draw breath.

AVOID

They left off the street name and number for my Uk order from Sony. In general the user experience is horrific and there is no way to contact them easily. Stop using these guys, Sony!!!

Very unhappy with Arvato SCM.

This company is a complete shambles. I have found that I got charged £3.00 for a 2 minute call to their Head Office (0844 846 0800)on how to contact Arvato SCM regarding a parcel of mine that has gone missing. When I finally got through to their Birmingham warehouse on 6th December, the manager said he would personally call me back. He was very polite and concerned but I haven’t heard from him yet. It’s now 15th December. Their Head Office customer service is worse than useless. They charge you to speak to them!

Appauling Management

I have worked for Arvato fior some time now and could honestly say its the worst place to work for.

Everything from IT issues preventing you from doing your job to pay issues. 4 months in a row there has been issues with pay to the point where it leaves people in hardship and they just dont care.

Management dont care about the agents, and when you try to escalate issues they get brushed off.

Worst service Arvato supply chain management

My seller playstation gave my parcel to Arvato for distribution. Arvato missed adding my building number on the parcel ( which was there in sellers information).
Due to that the courier company DPD were not able to deliver it, and then lost the courier from their depot.
I have been trying to reach out to Arvato supply chain management, but have not heard anything from last 3 days.
Totally customer unfriendly service. B2C does not work like this.
No respect for customers or their parcels.

This company is disgusting thearting to enter our home where I have a disabled child, knowing she is disabled & wanting to force entry is disgusting, why does big companies go towards these instead of taking to customers to resolve issues.
This company has caused me stress & upset my disabled child knowing they can enter turn off our electricity 😤. This outrageous

Left me in June with a net pay of £0. STILL chasing it up, I have now left. They can’t pay me in full before the end of July but can offer me an advance , makes 0 sense. No phone number for payroll. Emails only which get ignored. Absolute shitshow of a company.

Beware…

Today I received an email allegedly from this company telling me they were pursuing a "debt" of £39.68 I owe Plusnet. I ceased to become a Plusnet customer for Broadband on 27th March and Plusnet phone on 28th April and the last dealings I had with Plusnet was when they sent me a refund cheque for £16.85 which I banked on 7th May since when I have had no further contact with Plusnet. This email is an absolute scam!

Don't do business with this bunch

Arvato are nothing more than purveyors of misery, they take a commission from the debt they recover, with no consideration on why the debt came to be. As a small business owner I've been devastated financially through and after Covid. Getting letters from these greedy oxygen thieves didn't help matters, nor was there any advice provided other than contact of citizens advice. Do not do business with them, do not answer their correspondence. If any Arvato employees are reading this (doubtful) do us all a favour and resign.

Trying to chase me for a debt already paid months ago!! Scammers trying it on!

Stupid people at this company have been contacting me over a DEBT that has already been paid in October 2021 and I've had to make a complaint with the company in question three times now. Their telephone people have got terrible customer service skills and I can't help but think they are just trying to scam people. Why on earth why would they try to claim a debt that was already been paid? This has also been forwarded to the financial ombudsman as well.

Worst company I have ever worked for!

Worst company I have ever worked for in my life! The managers and people in the business have no clue whats going on or how things work. The communication is shocking! I had 3 managers since I started In August 2020. I was not once made aware that my manager has been changed. My probation was meant to be for 6 months and I had to keep chasing it up 5 months later! I did not have any performance updates since working from home in November 2020 and no proper assistance whatsoever! I was told to go into the office as I had system issues working from home. The manager said that I'm the only one having the issues and nobody else is. He mentioned that I'm only saying it to avoid work. This was a lie! Why I know this is a lie is because I was not the only one having the system issues working from home as another manager checked my laptop when I went into the office and said that my issues are known to the business. I also spoke to other people in the office who had to come in for the same reasons. I was told that the company is following government guidelines for Covid in the office and that definitely was not the case! People walking around without masks, meant to be four people in the kitchen at a time and I once witnessed 7 which included management. The desk I sat on was absolutely filthy and I had got bit twice. I did feed this back to my manager at the time who was not even based in the office I worked in as his office is located in a different country to me. Why I was given a manager who was not based in my office baffled me. They failed my probation mentioning that I had an attitude, this is obsured! The only communication I with my 3 managers and other people was through Skype message. As most people are aware, texts are monotone and do not show any expression. My last manager who again was based in a different country to me mentioned that everytime I spoke to him I complained which is false. I did have afew issues which I bought up yes, being my manager that's what they are there for right? Well that's what you'd think! Having 3 managers in less then 1 year not knowing who to go to was very frustrating as you can imagine, especially when working from home. Other managers were not willing to help me because they were not my manager and this is something in which they told me themselves. It's not that they couldn't help me, they were just not willing to. I found myself to supporting afew colleagues who I started the job with because they were also in the same position.

Do not pay Arvato, go back to the utility company

Just a bit of advise. This company are jumping on the bandwagon as they have the money under the Bertlemann brand to buy debt. Its usually utilities so therefore your account is not sold but they take a commission if they receive payment. Best way to pay is to ignore Arvato and go straight back to the utility compny which is what I did. This way it stops Arvato and other companies jumping on the bandwagon.

Lowel is not so bad too.. but worse and banned by me is Jacobs omg, they cost and are rude and take money for them self till Council takes whole case back lol
So Arvato is a Honey on my heart. Tank you Arvato. Thank them I was able to keep my card and get back on track.
