Today i saw an man in an wheelchair who was missing an leg couldnt pay hes ticket , so the ticket checker instead of helping him he just choose to humiliate him in front of everyone in the train, the poor man was crying and apologizing at the same time but the controller kept on going , only in the moment i offered to pay the man's fare , the controller said " its fine , i will let him pass this time" after all that humiliation and degradation.
Thats Arriva for you people , they only only care about profits and not people, especially after failing to offer proper transport for people from Maastricht to Liege and the moment that they do , they harras disabled people.

Departure time: 21:49-22:16 ( exact time may vary due to +10 minutes departure time , typical Arriva)

Awful internal decisions made by the leadership.
They are working on the road in sittard so they decided to cut 1 of the 2 lines. The other line is done with a small 8 persons bus where sometimes people cannot board because its too full and have to walk ot wait another half hour.
Same in stein where I work. There is a pendlebus driving till 7 pm. After that you have to walk from stein to elsloo. My job ends at 8pm so i am forced to walk 40 minutes because of their refusal to put a bus in after 7 pm.
Its like they want to cut cost which has a negative impact on the travelers.
The vlinderbus is already on station in sittard with a driver in it but they will let you stand in the cold until they have one minute left until they finally drive to you and pick you up. I can stand the cold but there are small children.
110 service from Tamworth to…
I use the 110 service from Tamworth to Birmingham.
On the whole 8 out of 10 drivers are very good, helful and courtious.
However on two occasions recently I have terrible experiences.
The first experience i put my arm out for the 110 bus to stop on my way to Tamworth. The bus did not stop in braod daylight.
I got the next bus and the previous bus was still at the terminus, so I got on the bus and asked the driver why he didnt stop. I got a mouthful of of abuse some of it in what seemed to be arabic. My partner asked the driver for his number. He refused, so she tried to take his picture on her phone. He jumped up and down making gestures with his hands and told us both to get off his bus using inappropriate launguage. I immediatly went to the local bus station to put in a complaint and was told to complain online which I did. However I was told I would not recieve any feedback to my complaint so it was futile.
My second occasion was last week. Myself and my partner who is partially disabled were about 50 yards from the bus stop and the bus was coming. Again it was daylight. I put my arm out so the driver knew we was trying to get the bus. There were two ladies waiting at the bus stop. I ran to the bus, my partner who walks with a stick hobbled along. the two ladies got on the bus, i went to get on ond the driver shut the doores in my face. I banged the doors and he waved his arm and drove off.
So I had to get an uber taxi as my partner had a doctors appointment.
And the Government want us to use public trnsport? Not for me ever again! I will use my car and polute the planet!
Thank you Arriva you are a rubish service who do nothing when customers compain.

Terrible service
Planed Bus Not Comming
On 3./4. September 2025 16.13 o'clock in rabac at the roundabout above the Plaza maslinca the Bus was Not comming, but it was possible to buy a Ticket at your Page! We 5 adults and 4 children and next day around 10 people we're waiting for Bus. In labin you Had still and only a plan made from paper!
In labin I heard from other tourists not comming Bus isues.
This Not Acceptable.
Worst train service ever
Arrived after a long journey in Heerlen on 10 Sept at 18:41 in Heerlen, had to switch to Arrive train to Aachen for 18:48. Was in time on perron 1 where it was announced that the train to Aachen leaves at 18:48. Standing right under the announcement board together with other passengers. Suddenly a train which stood at leadt 50m away with the sign Maastricht on the vaggon switches sign to Aachen and passes in speed all passengers without picking us up. There was an Arriva employee there, who didn’t say anything. When I complained he told me I should have known it was the far-away train to take. Incredible poor service. I will avoid from now on this company as much ad possible.
Unreliable and late, do not book here

The worst public transport company in the Netherlands
In October 2014, while on my way to retrieve the wallet I had lost at the Arriva station platform, I was issued a fine despite presenting proof of the situation and repeatedly explaining that I would settle my fare immediately upon recovering my wallet. Unfortunately, instead of understanding, I was met with a rude response: “We don’t care.”
This experience left me deeply disappointed. I have since retained my fine receipt (#1795141738003257) as a reminder of the incident and have shared my story with those around me as an example of the company’s lack of empathy and customer care. From that day forward, I decided never again to choose or recommend Arriva’s services.
Bus doesn’t pick me up
Do not use this company’s bus services. We booked a bus from groningen to leer. Bus driver said that the bus was overbooked and didn’t let us in even though we were on time.
We had to take an uber to leer so that we managed to get to the connecting train. Arriva will not give us any refund for the uber ride.

Arriva , once again, is employing drivers on route 724 from Heathrow to Harlow where they don’t know the locations on route. I wanted to travel to Chiswell Green , today, Wednesday 13th August , from North Watford Library, but the driver did not know where Chiswell Green is. This example sums up Arriva, hopeless, tired old buses not fit for purpose, timetables not adhered to, the few buses that do run are packed , and now to top it all, bus drivers don’t know where they are going. How sad and depressing that Watford’s local bus services have come to this.

Arriva(NL) has one of the most rude staff I have ever seen. Srsly unbelieveble!

i was waiting on the bus, ik suddenly just canceld. i had to wait 30 minutes for another bus to come. that bus was 8 minutes late and on top of that he let the girl infront of me in i was about to get in when the doors suddenly closed he looked at me and rode off. i was shouting for him to stop be he didnt stop and just kept going. therefor i missed an important class. i had to stand 1 and a half hours outside in the cold weather. VERY BAD

Unfortunately, the trein checkers were very rude at me when they see my NS subscription not arriva one! I have NS monthly subscription and when I was returning from Utrecht central to Winterswijk the train checkers shouted at me because I did not check in when I reached Arnhem central. Why should I check in if I used the same line train and I will do check out when I get my terminal station!!
It is poor treatment from this public service transportation, Helaas!

Buses are late EVERY SINGLE DAY! 10 minutes or more!! That’s not normal !! Even now I am writing this while waiting…Also there are some places where they are coming only couple times in a day.
The paroxysm of a rubbishy service
I have to give a star! No, I should give zero star! Niet! Non ! This bus company should seriously wrap up and retire for ever from the business! A complete joke again for an absent service. Today, I was waiting for the 197 bus towards Croydon from Samos Road stop ....one was due at 12:02 according to the timetable. At 12:05 , still no bus... the timetable showed one would turn up at 12:12...still no bus ...at 12:13 ...no bus ...the app then reveals that the next one would be at 12:25!! This is not good enough! You have ruined my day like you always do during peak time in the morning! Just leave the business to those who can deliver a service! Poor England... falling apart in every sector....pure and simple rubbish.
Bus 401 from Utrecht to Breda
Bus 401 from Utrecht to Breda - It says it will arrive and it never does, making us miss the train as well. If the bus won't come, can't you at least inform??? and place the sign 'rit vervalt' on the screen????? How difficult is that?
Very Very bad
Very bad, the drivers don’t even bother themselves to respect the schedule. Bus driver drove off 2 mins early then the normal schedule and the consumer have to wait 45min for the next bus waiting in the rain. Beek to Maastricht airport. And the bad thing is the driving could see a couple of passengers running from the train station towards the bus and even then he drove away.
