Untrustworthy business with good, dangerous products with unsuitable accessories and unreliable support

Bought solar shower on December 9 for €103.59 + €24.90 shipping. It fell and the bottom/lower part broke. They sold me a new one for €47.12 + €16.75 shipping, so I didn't have to pay for a full new one.

Update (03/23/2025): They're now charging me €53.97 for 2 small plastic pieces and a couple of small rubber sealing rings + €17.50 for shipping them within warranty.

Update (08/22/2025): It fell and broke again. Spent €170.76 on replacements. Hired a professional to install it. He concluded the provided screws were too short for the provided studs (the studs are ~5 cm but the screws are ~2.5 cm, so they never reach the bottom and remain lose). Complained on August 7. Arebos claimed the one-year liability period had already expired and the screws magically shrunk multiple centimeters due to product misuse and refused to compensate anything.

Update (09/01/2025): They finally agreed to refund after I initiated legal action.

Update (09/10/2025): I received the refund.

Do not buy!!!

I brought a Barcelona hot tub 6 seater back in April, it arrived and all was well, then it has lump in the bottom of the liner. Contacted customer services which was slow to admit there was a manufacturer issue. Offered a partial refund or a new hot tub. I went with a new hot tub. After the 2 weeks delivery wait as they send it all from Belgium, it was in fact a Barcelona hot tub but a 2 seater. Contacted them again and after a few emails I got confirmation they would send another new one when the item comes in stock. And so they did, on the agreed date, they didn't send the digital information to dpd, I waited and watched and emailed them, they seemed surprised I chased this (maybe hoping I wouldn't and it would be returned to sender?) it arrived, eventually and it was a Barcelona hot tub, 4 seater! Again wrong! I'm now completely finished with this company who's is very clearly incompetent and completely wasted a summer of hot tub fun! Quite frankly, wish I just brought a lazy spa, would have saved me the hassle!
Still on going to sort out, wish me luck!

We only offer the Barcelona pool in one version in our assortment. Nevertheless, we have already sent you a replacement item twice. We sincerely hope that the issue is now resolved and apologize again for the inconvenience caused.

Poor product worse customer service

Purchased a Barcelona hot tub from what we thought was a UK based company. website was .CO.UK, based in Bury St Edmund’s and a UK phone number. The hot tub turned up with a European 2 pin plug!! When we tried to contact customer service we got a computer generated voice telling us all the customer services representatives were busy and cut us off. After several attempts and getting the same result the voice then turned to what sounds like German. Website mentions a live chat option but there isn’t one. We’ve tried the email option but as yet haven’t even received a reply. If you’re UK based I’d stick well clear.

Follow up to earlier comment

So I made a comment earlier in this forum that it was a good buy. Sadly, it lasted not quite two seasons. 1st year 2023 was perfect. Stowed away dry after September and dragged out in April this year 2024 looking forward to another year of relaxation. It wasn't to be. By August it was done. I think the control centre has water in it. First the little led lights in the filter and heater buttons started flickering and went out. Then the filter warning came on and that was it. No controls. Less than two years old finished. No service centres in the UK so it's a throw away item. Such a pity, it was a nice tub.

Very nice Bollerwagen

Very nice Bollerwagen that is super easy to fold in and out and with lots of very nice Features. I do find it rather heavy which is my Main critique. Also the lock for the handle allongagement is not super reliable. Other than that I think its a great Produkt.

Brought a heat pump for my pool, delivery time was acceptable and tracking supplied was accurate. I did experience a problem but this was rectified very quickly and exceeded my expectations. Very good experience for me would recommend.

This company doesn’t even deserve the one ⭐️ star, I order a hot tub from them on 2/6/24 which I saw on the range website but was cheaper the order with them direct so I did, still no notice of it, just that it was returned to sender on 3/6/24. I have tried to contact them by phone, by email but no reply, this company just seem scam to me and I will be contacting the range to tell them so they won’t get other people go through this and take their money and not receive the goods!!

Scam

Scam, avoid.

First of all, this is a scam. Nowhere on the website does it mention that the goods are coming from Germany. The UK domain suggests that the goods are available locally.

Secondly, the description states that delivery will be within 3-5 working days. This is a lie. We've been waiting for almost 3 weeks, the goods are still in transit, and it's unclear when or if they will arrive at all.

It's a typical scam aimed at extorting money.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a company , not only do they hardly respond to you, but my item has been left in customs waiting for charges to be paid. No where on the website did it say I’d have to pay these charges , nor did it say it was an international order, not only do I now have to pay the additional fees ( which aren’t small) but i also have no way of paying them as they won’t send me the link to do so , absolute waste of time will never order from here again,

Company so bad

I had several issues I reported to them and they and we're useless and made me feel so small and stupid . I informed them I was disabled and needed to make my own bread as I have lots of food intolerants as shop bread contain too many things that hurt me. The breadmaker paddles keep going stiff and banging , the bowel is warping due to excess heat as you can smell the burning. They just told me to go and no uncertain terms and couldn't care less I was disabled. It was under warranty and these things should have being fixed but they refused to replace it. I need the 100 to replace my bread maker but there refusing but it's close to warranty run out so they will try and stall it till it expires. Don't buy anything from this company there terrible customer service

Afraid to use it now fire risk but company not bothered on faults

More trouble inconsistent results from my bread mixes, my old one bakes them fines but it's just too small hence I googled a 3 pound loaf and found this on arebos Germany who make it. My blades keep getting stuck and littering have to hack them out of the bottom and it makes a right mess.
I am sick of wasting money . I contacted the company twice on the issues but they won't change the blades to drop down ones but my main worry is I can't do a timed program during the night like your suppose to as there is a really strong smell of smoke and smoke coming out of the lid when the bread is burning. Other times it undercooks the loaf and it doesn't rise very well. I have tried all sorts changing quantities of ingredients but still no joy. The last gent offered me a replacement but weary as I am in a wheelchair and very vunerable and if that gets the same fault he wants me to put my safety over his companys profits, I would get burnt in a fire. He won't even give a half refund towards a new better one so it shows his attitude on disabled safety in the home. I said you can pick it up and take it away but refused that idea as I would probably have to pay the postage. I have only had it about 3 months and it's being indifferent since the day 1. I feel ashamed companys treat the disabled like this.

Excellent customer care.

My old breadmaker stopped working and the model is no longer made. I wanted one with a long tin, not a high tin (if that makes sense), Arebos sold one that looked similar. I was very pleased with the design and the silent working, however the first time I used it, it blew the electric circuit. I emailed the distributor and explained what had happened and a new one was sent, which arrived very quickly. Used it again today and a lovely loaf was produced. My only quibble is that it does not accept returns and it seems such a waste to put the original in the recycling bin. I would buy from Arebos again.
