We were a small wildlife film team that rented a couple of vans for around a month. The customer service was great and the vans worked a treat. The team was also great at explaining how to drive safely in unfamiliar conditions. Thanks very much!

My sister and I rented the 'Norway Explorer' for 4 weeks in mid September - mid October. We had the best time ever! We were a little anxious driving the campervan as neither of us had driven a vehicle of this size before (and we usually drive on the left hand side of the road in NZ not the right as in Norway/Europe). We did however, find the campervan easy enough to drive and park most of the time. The campervan was in perfect condition, was very clean and felt new and well looked after. It was nice and spacious inside and we loved the fact that we could have a bed each. We used a relocation deal picking up the camper in Oslo and dropping it in Tromsø. This helped to make the trip affordable and allowed us to live our dream of van life! The staff at both the Oslo and Tromsø offices were helpful and nice, as well as Norma and the other staff we communicated through email prior to collecting the campervan. We both highly recommend Artic Campers.

I rented Arctic Campers 'Comfort Camper 4x4' in October 2025 and found it a great vehicle for my journey around the Sápmi lands from Tromsø to Kárášjohka and back.
The van seemed mechanically perfect and ran like a dream. It has a nice stereo in the front, vital for the long journey!
The company assisted me with my last-minute booking and was very helpfull at their Tromsø base.
It is a good size for one or two people, the bed folds away easily to become a table and comfy seats, although I left the bed set-up and was still able to use the kitchen comfortably. The refrigerator, sink, water pump and two stoves all worked nicely and are very easy to put away quickly for driving. Everything needed to cook is on board, although I would bring something to store dry food in, I had a simple cardboard box which I stored under the bed/seats that worked well.
I will be using their vehicles again 👍

we rent a camper for a 8 days road trip in norway from ARCTIC campers. the car was similar to what described and all extra facilities was available in car. we found the car , bed , dishes and everything super clean and personnel are very friendly.

Exceptional customer service and vehicle provided by Norway Campers. Extremely professional and friendly employees always willing to help customers. Will definitely recommend for campervan rentals to everyone.

My wife and I rented a Norway Master Automatic. The van was great with twin beds, kitchen and shower/toilet. It was mechanically sound and we had no problems. We did a two week circuit of the southern part of Norway and both free camped and in campgrounds. The briefing at pickup was detailed and the van had all the necessities required for the trip. Staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
A shuttle to the train station or our close-by accomodation on completion of our trip would have been helpful, but it was not a deal-breaker.
We would recommend Arctic campers.

Arctic Campers Tromsø: Great customer service on the ground and via email, before pick-up and when we handed back the car. We are local and would definitely choose Arctic Campers again for another road adventure, though with a larger car then the one that was available when we booked, an EV Camper Buzz. The Buzz was great but next time we want an in-car space for chilling in the evenings. Thanks Tromsø Team!

Everything was fine with camper. It was clean and full equipped but there was no hose so we could have not fill up water tank in other places than camping sites. You should equip your cars with one, it will be very helpful. However we have had wonderful time in Norway driving your campervan. Thank you!

Not only our road trip on the VW transporter was wonderful, the team from Arctic Oslo made in so memorable. The gave us lots of advise, suggestions on fine tuning our route and even suggested a group chat for queries while on the road. They went extra mile helping to search and find my lost item. The reservation, pick up and drop off process were all so easy and efficient. We appreciate a staff taking us with him back to the airport when he went to pick up a renter/passenger.
We rented the Norway Explorer campervan for 30 days. It was a brand new van and thoroughly enjoyed it. No problems at all for all 30 days of
rental. Very comfortable and good drive. Support staff is always available to answer questions.

Rented the Ford Compact RV for 14 days. The vehicle and the Arctic Camper team exceeded our expectations. Everything was well prepared and absolutely flawless. Thumbs up and highly recommended.

We booked the campervan to travel around the Lofoten since this is the best way to experience and enjoy everything at your own pace and liking.
We already did a trip in a campervan in Iceland. But it was with a smaller one, a modified Dacia Logan. Yes, a lot smaller.
That is why we chose the Norway Explorer Automatic which is great because it has every necessity on board. Since we also wanted to roam and enjoy more quiet places this was the perfect solution.
Arctic Campers has a great selection which had us a bit confused at first but they helped us to choose the right vehicle for our adventure. My daughter, my wife and I loved the campervan and all the advantages that came with it. It was fun driving because it was not as big as a camper and still big enough to have all the commodities you normally have when staying in an appartment. The bed was also comfortably big. We could stop everywhere we felt like it. We had no worries for making detours since we had unlimited mileages and the tolls were also prepaid. And we could even live for a couple of days autonomously without the need to refill the water, refueling the gas or emptying the toilet.
We had a few smaller hickups which I would say is normal if you go on longer and more adventurous trips. But the assistance of Arctic Campers was always ready to help us. The camper never broke down or had driving issues during our travel. Arctic Campers was also forthcoming in every way possible to make our travel with them as positive as possible.

Once again we rented a VW Transporter for a week in December. The vehicle was in perfect condition, well equipped and reliably got us around with its four-wheel drive. At more than 30 degrees below zero, the auxiliary heating surprised us with temperatures that were almost too hot in the lounge area, so very well done.
The adjustable table and the resulting space in the front part of the vehicle took the accessibility of things and well-being to the next level.
Once again, a big thank you to the always friendly crew.
Our conclusion: highly recommended, great vehicles, always happy to come back, trustworthy, great employees.

Flawless rental, all went smooth and the van (Volkswagen Crafter) was in perfect conditions.

We got a Compact RV Automatic Ford for 10 days and we travelled the whole Norway from Tromso to Oslo.
Because of this team it was one of our best road trips.
Very professionalism and very helpful whenever we needed them.

Very good, hassle-free car rental.
There was a mechanical issue with the car we rented, but the staff were very helpful and immediately replaced it with a different car.
We had no further issues and everything went smoothly for the rest of our trip.
If I return to northern Norway I’ll definitely be booking with Artic Campers again.

We had a mostly positive experience with Arctic Campers. Upon picking up the campervan, we were warmly welcomed by Joe, who was incredibly informative and thorough. He took detailed photos of the van, which gave us peace of mind.

On the return, however, no photos were taken by the staff, so I’d recommend doing this yourself to avoid any potential issues (which is generally a good practice with any vehicle rental).

The campervan itself was brand new and worked perfectly throughout the trip. We had a minor issue with a shelf that came loose on the first day, but the staff resolved it quickly.

The only downside, though unrelated to Arctic Campers directly, was the delay in returning our deposit. It took about a month and a half to receive it back, even though the terms stated 10 days. Apparently, the license plate had been flagged in connection with an unrelated accident, causing confusion for Arctic Campers and some uncomfortable questions directed at us. In the end, it was confirmed that the incident was unrelated to our rental, but this confusion is the reason I’m deducting two stars from the rating.

Rented a Renault Traffic camper for two weeks in fall of 2024. Full size bed that converted to a table for day/evening use. A true indoor kitchen where dishes, stove, sink and water were all easily accessible without the need to go outside. The camper was a nice size for driving on narrow Norwegian roads. The pickup and drop off service to the airport made it very convenient. Staff were friendly and quick to respond to when we had questions on the road. The pre authorized deposit was released ten days after drop off as promised. Recommended for those considering a camping holiday in Norway.
