This was an installation of Sky in a communal old people’s building.

The engineer, Graham was frankly a genius! Had both tvs set up at lightning speed and was very helpful and efficient. Arrived at the agreed time. Just a great service.

Bethany and her colleague in the office were also first class. I highly recommend this company.

Just had our TV reception system updated after 20 years, live within a 64 apartment building so the communal satellite system was very old considering how far technology has come on.
Graham from Applied-Broadcast Systems in Maidstone, Kent was assigned the work after giving our management a very competitive quote.
He worked tirelessly for 2 full days initially tracing then rewiring, updating & testing our system.
He was very polite, friendly, confident & very experienced in what he was doing.
Residents had a mixture of Terrestrial TV, Freeview, Freesat & SKY, so there was a lot of different systems to check.
Afterwards the vast majority of the residents tv issues were resolved with better pictures & even more channels than before.
He then came back for an afternoon, this time with his Son (Richard) who was equally as knowledgeable, polite & friendly.
They both then only had to solve a couple of minor issues to help the last few residents get connected properly, nothing was too much trouble for them.
An outstanding job overall - I recommend this company at the highest level, if ever you need this kind of work doing - do not hesitate in contacting them.

From the moment I contacted ABS, I was treated like I mattered and that they were keen to help. Rarely of late, have I felt that I mattered as a customer but Richard from ABS, reminded me what being on the receiving end of amazing service feels like. Richard is warm, funny, efficient, professional and so very knowledgeable. When Richard arrived, he spent time listening to me, interested in what I had to say, and intent on solving my problem. Needless to say he did, and I learned so much in the process. Great job at a fair price. I will use this company for all my tv/cctv needs and I'd recommend you do too.

Had an issue with my Sky Signal, Richard arrived and was very polite and courteous. At first he couldn't find quite what the issue was with my communal satellite at my flat, and said the best thing to do is speak to the building manager as they would have their own contractors. However, he wanted to try and few other things and refusing to give up finally solved the issue! I would highly recommend, very professional, knowledgeable and determined! thanks!

The office staff were very helpful, understanding and friendly....and it was easy to get through . Our request for help to install a new TV for my brother in a retirement flat/whilst they were installing a Q box was agreed to easily.....Thankyou it all went very smoothly when Richard your engineer visited today..it was such a relief when Richard arrived, he was very experienced,with a warm personality, and knew exactly how to set it up in a professional way with care.Thankyou, this is the second time Richard has visited and set up a TV etc for us....I would recommend this company ongoing, their staff are so understanding and Richard installs confidence...Thankyou we all appreciate your help.+

I would like to leave a review for anyone who was thinking of using this company .... Do it, impressed with efficiency, Graham was contacted yesterday and arrived this morning having driven a 100 miles or so. At once he located the fault and reçtified it where others had failed. If I needed (hopefully not) to need the company again I wouldn't hesitate in contacting Graham's company.

Installed Sky for my 90 year old dad. Initially, Sky had said it was free but I was then contacted by this company to say it was £125 and not a straight forward installation because it was a shared dish.
The engineer attended the accommodation where my dad lives and simply connected the wires to the wall socket.He spent a couple of minutes in the facilities cabinet and then said it was finished.
I arrived at this point and asked if everything was in working order and was told it was. The engineer left. I was happy to show my dad how to use the Sky Q. The problem came about a few days later, later when my dad called me to say he could not get some of the channels. I assumed it was just my dad getting a bit confused. I could not get there for a couple of weeks and when I did I realised that there were quite a few channels that were not working, just a blue screen.
I contacted the company and I was told that if I wanted them out, a fee would have to be paid, by either my dad or the people who manage the apartments. I explained that it had been like that since he had it installed, so surely they should finish the installation.
I was then told that the managing director would contact me. I was really shocked by this person's attitude. He kept asking me why I was mentioning that my dad was 90? All that he would discuss was how the company would be paid to finish off the incomplete installation. The gentleman was quite bombastic in his approach and at one point I had to ask him to remain calm.
The conversation ended with agreement that he would indeed go out, but would seek payment from the house manager.
Since then, my dad has heard nothing. The original engineer spent approximately 15 mins in my dad's apartment. I have documentary evidence to support this and which will be used to support my case with trading standards.
The service and follow up support was in my opinion far below what you would expect. Totally dissatisfied.

Len the engineer came from ABS to install SKY into my parents apartment. Great guy, really friendly, really professional and did a fantastic job!

For older people that need care and attention their service was perfect! Bethany in the office dealt with my mother with compassion and understanding and talked through the forthcoming visit in detail. They installed her new Sky Q box quickly and even ran through a tutorial with her on how to use the new systme. I cannot recommend them enough!

In December 2024 my 98 year old father-in-law was offerred Sky Q on a totally free basis, which he was happy to accept. He was then contacted by ABS on behalf of Sky who demanded an up front payment of £125 to install the box on the basis that extra wiring was required. When the installation was carried out there was no extra work required and the Sky Q box was simply connected to the existing cable. Requests to Sky and ABS for a refund have met with refusal. This is pretty disgraceful practice in dealing with an elderly Sky customer and this company should be avoided at all costs.

What a very smooth installation - from the staff at the office who handled everything perfectly - kept me informed throughout and even brought my installation forward. Graham the manager arrived on time and set up my Sky in no time. He even configured the remote controls for me so that I only needed to use the Sky remote control. Also gave me a very handy tip of how to access my recordings.

The whole process of connecting my skyq tv was made simple by the knowledgeable owner of the business. He set the whole thing up without any problems.

This is a family run business and the staff are extremely courteous and knowledgeable. The ladies in the office were so helpful on the phone and went above and beyond to accommodate my request for Sky installation. The man that arrived was punctual, polite and explained everything to me. Before he arrived I received a text giving me a time that he would arrive and he stuck to that. I would highly recommend this Company both for the courteous staff and for good value for the visit.

Excellent service, both from the office and also for Graham the engineer who connected the SkyQ box and mini box in our retirement flat.

Richard from ABS was excellent, we have had loads of issues but he came and spent time sorting out all our problems and we now have a working SKY system, He was very efficient and explained how everything works. Would recommend ABS as we were very pleased with the service.

Because I live with a communal satellite, my new Sky Q-box had to be installed by ABS. They contacted me, made an appointment and kept to the date. Richard installed the equipment effeciently, was pleasant and extremely helpful. It was great talking to people as opposed to the AI systems!

There was some initial confusion between Sky and ABS about fixing a date for the appointment to install the equipment, as it was changed 3 or 4 times but eventually a date was agreed upon.
On the day before the day of the appointment, ABS rang me and said their engineer - Richard - was in the area and could come at 5pm that very day instead of the next day, as he was passing by on his way home - to which we readily agreed. Richard was brilliant. He was quick, efficient, very knowledgeable about the equipment and so helpful, making sure I knew how to use the equipment before he left. The whole exercise took just over half an hour. Finally, having mentioned to him that one of our neighbours also had a future Sky Q installation appointment coming up, he offered to do their installation there and then instead even though it would make him even later going home. Unfortunately, he could not locate their booking and the neighbour was out anyway so he went on his way home.
I would thoroughly recommend ABS and their engineer Richard for any Sky equipment issues but would ask Sky to look into their internal appointment procedures to avoid any confusion over dates in the future.

Great service from Richard yesterday replacing the old aerial on the retirement flats that I manage. I've always found everyone I've dealt with at ABS to be polite and very good at explaining everything that they will be doing.
