Absolutely disgraceful!
We paid $200 call out fee.
The guy came with a woman and stayed 20-30 minutes and put a new fan in for an EXTRA $250.
Within a week....the fridge went back to playing up.
Hubby phoned FRIDGES R US and the guy said "Better to just buy a new fridge."(not worth spending any more money on it....but it's only 8 yrs old and not 1 thing is cracked, broken, missing etc)
Our neighbour in the back unit has the EXACT fridge bought at the same time, had the same problem and it was $190 1 year ago and the fridge has been fine ever since.
So we are trying to find the neighbours technician.
We feel COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF should be reported to ACC etc
They didn't quit till my Sub Zero was repaired! Sorry I didn't call Appliance Repair R Us earlier. Good job. Highly recommend!
