EXCESSIVE SHIPMENT DELAY IS UNACCEPTABLE
Everything was fine as usual, with the exception of processing the sale in a QUICK AND EFFICIENT manner. Frankly, I am disappointed that it took from time-of-purchase early Wednesday morning of the preceding week (Wednesday) to start the actual shipment process (following Monday) of the coin!! No Response From APMEX Regarding Missing Shipment
As an APMEX LLC member, I have done several transactions over the years.
On April 30, 2026, I ordered a One Hundred (100) oz Silver Bar, In order to avoid the credit card charge, I paid by check, which APMEX cashed. Their website states package delivery can take 1 to 10 days. After 3 weeks, the Silver Bar did not arrive.
I emailed APMEX and they responded the same day, via email, stating "Thanks for reaching out, and we are sorry to hear your package has not arrived. We have forwarded the details to our claims team who will open an investigation. Please allow 2-14 business days". I have received no communication after that and I emailed APMEX to inquire for an updated status. Their email response was "Thank you for contacting APMEX. We have submitted your request for an update and you shall be receiving an email separately soon".
APMEX never responded again.
I sent an overnight letter (FedEx) to Mr. Kenneth Lewis, the CEO of APMEX. I did not get a response.
On June 3, 20026, I again advised APMEX that my order had not been received and requested a claim to be open.
Since that date I have not heard any more about my order.
APMEX states on their website "When we ship to you, if metals are lost or damaged in transit, it is our responsibility to pursue any claim with the insurance company".
In my case, this is not true. APMEX has abdicated their responsibility.
