The service was great the delivery was on point it was well done

I telephoned and ordered 2 items. An AEG built under and a AEG Induction hob. I discussed with their agent a price match for both items £509.00 for the oven and £468.90 for the hob, with the Invoice total of £977.90 that was paid in full. Towards the end of the conversation their operator advised that if the goods dropped in price below what I had agreed within the next 7 days then to call back and they would refund the difference. Also, on a separate on-line web transaction I ordered and paid via a different card for a different bank for their ‘AO membership for £39.99.
Five days after I placed the order and the oven was reduced on the AO website by £13.00 to £496.00. (@2 dats ago this item is now down in price again to £475). As advised by their operator I called back expecting them to refund the difference. However, they would NOT honour this and claimed that the oven had been discounted to £488 and not £509. (They will hear £509.00 on their recording). What they seemed to be including in the discount to arrive at the £488 on their system were the services (delivery costs and recycling fees) covered by the “membership fees” that had been paid for separately and as a result they would not be matching the reduction that they had promised. £13.00 is not a huge amount, its the principle that absolutely BUGS the xxx out of me. You should be honouring what your staff say to customers, don’t say what you don’t mean!!! Despite the membership fees being for another 12 mths and being in a position where I will be purchasing multiple new large electrical appliances I will NOT be back, I will be taking my loyalty elswhere!

The 2 gentlemen called me twice which I appreciated as the fridgefreezer was being delivered to my daughter in law. They couldn't have been more helpful.

We've used AO multiple times now and the delivery / install team has been brilliant each time. Come in, no bother, good job done and gone.. prices are competative and range of appliances is wide. Cant fault em really.!

AO website is easy to navigate and prices are competitive. Quick delivery which was easy to arrange. A phone call the day before with email and text updates on the day. Delivered within the time slot by two polite men who unpacked, took away the rubbish and the old appliance.

On time, great communication ahead of the appointment so we knew the precise delivery slot. Took away old machine as requested.

First of all I was contacted to let me know they were 15 minutes away. Both men were very polite and carried on with the install. I was informed as to what they were doing. They were very professional and left no mess whatsoever.

The delivery person, rang the door bell and just left the package £600+ value on sight under the car. No signature. Shocking!
