Very efficient when I called the pech central, they came to my aid within 30 mins. The road side manner was fantastic, smart engineer who was very methodical, found the problem. A great service.

I don't speak Dutch and broke down on a 72 year old vintage motorcycle, not the sort of vehicle you expect ANWB to be prepared for.
Help came quickly, and to my delight they had the part needed to get me back on the road in no time!

Anwb service is always helpful, the call center is responsive and the mechanics are helpful and friendly. The transportation for the car happened quickly, that was really convenient.

Very disappointing experience. I called to apply for a liability insurance and was told it was not possible simply because I have a flatmate. This makes no sense, as liability insurance is meant to cover my own responsibility toward third parties. What’s even more frustrating is that on the website you can apply for this insurance with no mention or restriction regarding flatmates at all. Instead of explaining or offering an alternative, the agent just said she couldn’t help me at all.

In 2023/2024, I booked a trial driving lesson (proefles) with ANWB. After waiting nearly two months, the lesson was cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time because the instructor did not want to travel to my town. I was then asked to travel about 50 km to meet a different instructor, which was never part of the agreement. This was extremely unprofessional and inconvenient.
At the time of booking, a free membership was included, which I assumed was optional and would not continue unless I actively chose to do so. Since the lesson was cancelled, I never used ANWB services again.
Last month, I unexpectedly received an invoice, which I initially thought was spam because I had never ordered anything. As I checked, it is for the membership fee. There was no clear warning that the free membership would automatically convert into a paid one.
After contacting ANWB, they agreed to cancel the membership, but the cancellation only takes effect after another month. This means they still wanted me to pay for a service period I never used and never knowingly agreed to.
Overall, this experience felt misleading and left me with little trust in ANWB’s customer practices. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

My type was punctured while my car sat in my drivewayt. After calling ANWB, I was provided with prompt, professional service, followed up by a report of the problem within two hours to my email address. The young man was friendly and very helpful.

Avoid this insurance company at all costs. You are billed even when you are not insured. I initiated a claim after my scooter was stolen and damaged. They subsequently denied the claim, asserting that my scooter did not meet the specifications outlined in the contract. They then promised to "re-assess" my policy, which was never carried out. Unbelievably, they continued to charge me the premium until now, despite the scooter lacking insurance and remaining in the garage for over 6 months because they could not repair it. When I requested a refund for the months during which I was not covered, they also refused. This is absolutely unacceptable and outrageous. I feel like I have been robbed twice: first by the criminals and then by the insurance company.

Bad company. It’s related to a Unigarant company so the insurance it’s managed by a company who act like a scam company using subterfuge to not pay the claim. I can’t believe this happen in Netherlands. First world. The mail post lost my secondary key and they denied to pay my insurance. Bad company.
But the mail was registered. Followed all the procedures. It’s only 700 euros. And for sure, I really don’t care about the money. It’s the disrespect with the customer. It’s unacceptable to not accept the fact that was not my fault and it’s from the post mail. Regarding the locker just check the video and pictures. But for now, it’s just an advise for the new customers. Avoid both companies. I’m cancelling the association with ANWB and moving to Allianz. A company with good review and always ready to help the customers. I know it’s your job and don’t take this personally. But the company policy is the problem. When you need, you learn how to check for reviews. Check here in Trustpilot. It’s not only me. It’s a lot of customers who trust in your company and receive this answer. For 700 euros you prefer to sustain the bad reputation. So it’s it. No understanding from your side. No acceptance from my side. Still a bad company.
