Beautiful dress, poor customer service.

The dress I have ordered was absolutely stunning and looked exactly like the pictures online — beautiful quality and worth the wait aesthetically. However, what really put me off ordering again was the delivery time and the very poor communication throughout the process. I placed my order on the 19th of March, hoping to have it in time for my Easter break in early April, but it only arrived on the 11th of April, after I had already returned. Had there been clearer updates and better communication, the experience would have been much more positive.

LOVE the dress!

I love the dress it is so well made and lovely quality. I think it will be perfect for me now and also later in life as I think it is timeless! Love it - was quite pricey but 100% worth it.

Horrendous experience

Horrendous experience. Returned items at end of March. They show as delivered in 3rd April. It’s the 9th May and I’m still out of pocket. Contacted multiple times and get an AI response. No actual humans. Will never order again!

AVOID. POOR SIZING AND TERRIBLE RETURNS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

Firstly, the sizing is completely off! I am a UK size 6/8 with a 26" waist and the size 6 and size 8 both did not fit. Now what is worse, is the RETURNS". I am constantly given this message on the returns portal:

It looks like this order has not yet been shipped.

I have emailed THREE times with no response.

DO NOT ORDER

DO NOT ORDER! I placed an order with ALB on 18th February and, almost 3 months later, I still had not received my item or any reliable delivery information.

Each week I was told the order would be shipped “next week,” but it never arrived. Communication was poor throughout, and I repeatedly had to chase for updates myself. Despite seeing expected delivery dates appear on the website, no confirmation or meaningful explanation was ever provided.

What made the experience even more frustrating was the difficulty in getting clarity around a refund. After waiting months with no resolution, I eventually had to contact my bank to recover the money.

I can see from Trustpilot that other customers have experienced similar issues, which is disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not order from ALB again.

Terrible service - 2 months waiting and no refund

Terrible service. Ordered on 19th March - now nearly 2 months later and my order is still "unfulfilled". 22 emails back and forth with the customer service and I get the same copy-paste response: "we apologize for the delay, we're waiting for confirmation from the warehouse". No timeline, no resolution, no refund offered.
This is not a delay - this is a company holding onto customer money while providing no goods or service.
Avoid until they sort out their fulfillment and customer service process.

Ordered my dress back in March have…

Ordered my dress back in March have been emailing company since was advised over the last two weeks my dress would be sent the next week which it hasn’t. Emailed them again for them to advise they have had a lot of orders this month and there are delays, however I ordered my dress in March and paid £385. Disappointed this hasn’t been taken serious nor have they been forthcoming with communicating the delays unless I ask. Shocking!!

I placed my order march 13 and still didn't receive my order,I can not track my order, I contact them , costumer service was polite and fast but so far wasn't helpfull. So I'm a little bit disapointed and don't know if order will ever came.

Bought a dress in AUGUST last year

Bought a dress in AUGUST last year. Sent it back as it didn’t fit within the correct time frame. They’ve given me every excuse to not refund it and it’s not a cheap dress! It’s been almost a year now and they’re still promoting so it’s clearly not an issue with “moving warehouses” like they’ve claimed which is ridiculous anyway. If you’ve received the dress back which you have REFUND ME IT.

I originally ordered a …

I originally ordered a dress and the fit wasn't right for me, spoke to customer service via email and she recommended a different size and dress. I will say it took a while for the exchange to happen but once I recieved the dress it was perfect!
I've seen previous reviews about people not getting their refunds etc.. just be patient it took a while but they do come through!

One star is too high as this is easily…

One star is too high as this is easily the WORST company. I ordered one of the fur vests on January 4th and it is now May and I still have neither a vest nor a refund. I have gone back and forth with customer service and after sending them screen shots and everything other piece of info they have asked for, I now have radio silence. The next step is going thru the fraud department at my bank. But this much hassle for a vest? Even if it were divine, there is not a product on the market that is worth this much grief and hassle! Steer clear of this company! To date - out the cost of £104.99 and no vest. Furious!!!

Amazing quality items

Quick delivery. Dresses are amazing and actually what you order. Not some cheap overpriced tat from china. I have ordered 3 dresses from here now and it will be my go to site in the future. Never needed customer services so cant comment on that aspect. Receive tracking number as soon as its shipped

TRADING STANDARDS ARE INVESTIGATING

This is a WARNING I wish someone had told me before I spent nearly £200 which, If I hadn’t gotten trading standards and my bank to investigate (even having proof of a them receiving my return) I wouldn’t have gotten my money back.

I SENT COUNTLESS EMAILS WHICH WHERE IGNORED OR REPLICATED it’s just a bad company.

This company is now under an investigation by trading standards due to them breaking the consumer rights act 2015.

Company does not have any information about how to do a return. I had to email the company myself to ask for the return address- I had to send the dress back myself via the post office.

Thank GOD I sent the item recovered delivery as for a month the company stated they had not received the item EVEN THOUGH I HAD PROOF THEY RECEIVED IT AND PHOTOS FROM THE ROYAL MAIL POST MAN DELIVERING IT TO THEIR ADDRESS.

They still told me they couldn’t process the return until they had the item- I had sent them all the evidence I had.

I had to contact my bank to do a charge back and my BANK INVESTIGATED it and only THEN did I get my money back.

I would have taken them to small claims court

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life

Trading standards are now investigating them

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service. Returned a dress well within the timeframe (in fact returned it straight after I tried the dress on and saw it wasn't suitable). Have been passed from customer service to another department twice and have heard nothing from that other department. Wish I had check Trustpilot before I ordered from them.

Horrible.

Horrible.
Will never be purchasing from this brand ever again. As an avid online shopper with many retail sites never have I had to complain or leave negative reviews until now. The dress I received was too big so I sent it back- I had emailed them beforehand and they were expecting the dress back. I sent it first class signed with Royal Mail and the dress was received and signed for the following day it was sent. This has now been over 7 weeks. With many many emails I have sent with evidence provided with the tracking details and images of where it was delivered, it is always the same response as “I understand your frustration” “this is being reviewed and investigated”. Clearly not enough!!!! Absolutely not good enough.

Do not buy from them

I have never ever ever experienced such DISGRACEFUL customer service.
January 2026 my husband bought me a dress for a wedding in May. It was the incorrect size so I went to exchange but they gave me a gift card as it was out of stock. I reordered when it was in stock and the item didn’t come for 2 half months where I constantly emailed, DM’d, commented, called their fake number on their website, messaged the owner and randomly a WRONG DRESS in the WRONG SIZE turned up. They refused to give me a full refund as I used a gift card even though that was their way of exchanging and forced my hand to buy something else just so I didn’t loose out on the money. Throughout this whole process the emails were never responded too and I had to go through DM’s which were only responded too once I commented on all their posts.
I ordered a dress that immediately went into pre order saying March 29th and then when that date passed I was told April 29th instead. Today NOTHING no response other than their classic “we will escalate your issue” and then NOTHING. I’m now around £400 down and no sign of any dress and the wedding is in 3 weeks.
I can’t begin to describe how many times I’ve tried to contact this company and I cannot believe a brand like flannels stocks them it’s a scam. Surely there is something going on as to why there are so many AWFUL reviews. I wish I read these before buying in the first place.
