Poor customer service and bad money management
Absolutely awful experience with this firm. It took over a year to get any resolution on distribution of the deceased funds, and even then, they wasted thousands of dollars in bank fees with unwarranted "test" transfers and poor currency management, switching recipient accounts and currencies with no prior approvals. They do their transfers via wire, through RBS, who charge commission as well as flat fees. In the end, we lost over 20% of the total funds to bank fees alone (not to mention the various "fees" and charges Anderson Strathern imposed). Do not waste your time or money with them. they are hard to get hold of and make decisions which are not in the customers' best interest.
