The size XL/40 is like European 42 even could fit to 44. As 8th month pregnant using European size 42/44 or L/XL I can quite easily wear the swimming skirt size XL/40. I'm sure that the swimming suit fits perfectly even right after birth. I'm happy that I didn't follow the recommendation to choose a bigger size if I'm between two sizes. The material feels very good quality and the modest style is perfect.
