Fantastic company, Fixed my fault

Had a fault with my alarm, office staff booked me an appointment with an engineer named Tommy. He was fantastic and fixed my issue without any problems. Couldn’t recommend higher.

I purchased my house a year six months…

I purchased my house a year six months ago, the alarm system was maintained by AM Fire and Security. The alarm was temperamental so I contacted AM Fire and Security because it did not allow the user to reset the alarm, it required maintainer intervention to reset the alarm
before it could be armed again. I was charged £96.00 to reset code this took about 15mins.

I will be contacting a governing body and the manufacturer of the alarm system to ask for help because I believe it has been programmed incorrectly.

This company have been less than helpful and charged high prices compared to other companies.

If you are looking for an alarm system or a maintainer, I would avoid this company at
ALL costs.

Poor service and contact.

When I purchased my house, 2 years ago, I inherited an alarm system which had been maintained by AM Fire and security since at least 2010. I had no contact from the company about any contract renewal and continued to use the alarm sparingly. In the past 2 weeks, I accidentally tripped the alarm for the first time and it became evident that the way this company programmed the panel was incorrect - it didn't allow for the user to reset a tripped alarm but required maintainer intervention to reset the alarm before it could be armed again. I spoke to the previous owner who shared the details of this company. I contacted them and explained that what they had under contract had been incorrectly set up at that time and asked if they would attend and correct their error. This fell on deaf ears and I have been offered an attendance at cost to correct their error. I escalated this- the Technical manager gave me unviable reasons why this issue could be a fault as opposed to a misprogramming error. I suggested a visit whereby if the issue was a fault, I would pay and if it was a programming error, the visit would not be charged, this was not accepted.

I have taken this up with the governing body and the manufacturer of the alarm system, who helped me prove it was a programming error.

This company have been less than helpful and and not willing to correct their own errors without applying a charge.

If you are looking for an alarm system or a maintainer, I would avoid this company at ALL costs.
