Your product lock is hopeless keep getting stuck always and the lock liver is very bad even after putting the right code the lock does not open its very very irritating I will never buy again this American tourister again and also never recommend anyone to buy.Lock is the major part of bag which is useless and keep getting stuck.

I recently purchased a medium suitcase from their website. I asked for a home delivery (not a pick up) but UPS left the suitcase at their UPS drop off point with no attempt made to deliver it to my address as agreed at time of purchase. I tried to change this on the UPS website but I couldn't even log in. So I emailed American Tourister asking them to honour the home delivery and I've yet to receive an email back from them. It's been almost 2 weeks. I'm not impressed...

I bought an American Tourister in 2004 and I changed it only in 2021 not for particular problems but because it was to old and dirty. The new models are made in a very cheap way. My new American Tourister arrived with a broken wheel at the first flight. After one year I've gotten already 2 broken wheels.

Apalling quality. The suitcase got wet and dyed all my clothes inside blue and after just two uses the wheels are sticking and falling off. Their 'warranty' isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Useless customer service. Save yourself a headache and stear clear!

Brought our American tourister case in August for our October holiday. So only used once, zip split open on return journey and not because case was too full, we travel light, then the handle doesn't retract down. Brought through amazon, no one wants take responsibility for it!!!!! Not a cheap case £116. Do not buy.

Like many other reviews, my suitcase came off the conveyor belt on its first outing with a large crack in the shell! Absolutely NOT robust but the company suggested I take it up with the airline or send it to them for inspection at my own cost.. deeply unsatisfactory and poor … would never recommend these terrible suitcases to anyone.. look fabulous but just not up to the job they are intended for!

I was given an American Toirister as a gift before lock downs.
On the first leg of our recent trip away the clasp/tag of the zip was missing/pulled free from the zip. While the case could still be used it was extremely difficult to close and open the case.
On our return I was informed that I would have to pay for the return of the case to a third party for assessment. There was no guarantee that the repair would be honoured under warranty.
Poor customer service for an costly suitcase that doesn't stand up to the rigours of travel. I strongly advise you look elsewhere for more robust equipment (and the honouring of a decent warranty).

Absolute crap don’t buy! I thought they were a good quality make but I’m terribly unimpressed by the quality don’t buy what ever you do!

Unfortunately didn't read the reviews before I bought one. First flight in, the case has a hole right through the plastic.

This reviewer doesn't even think it warrants one star. We bought a bright yellow hard shell suitcase from Tesco. Came through Belfast International into Manchester and we were left with half of one zip keeping the bag closed. So for the return journey ( we are still on holiday). I am going to have to gaffer tape the case together. Simply because I am not buying another case when we have to return this one. Argh. Don't buy tourister bags.

Bought the large suitcase for a 6 week trip to Columbia and the FIRST TIME I used it the bloody clip that goes into the TSA lock has broken therefore the safety feature I bought it for has COMPLETELY broken. I wouldn't care but £140 is a lot for a suitcase which I thought was justified turns out it's bloody not 🙄 this suitcase is not fit for purpose! Avoid and find a better brand!

I bought an American Tourister Large Bon Air Spinner suitcase in London in Ryman's Stationers Kensington High Street on 1 June 2022. The price was £84.99 sale price and I was very happy with that. I have noticed the extendable handle keeps falling back down one ratchet/step at the slightest touch so don't know if that kind of sensitivity is normal, but that is a minor fault considering the good price I had paid. However, on only the third use (a short trip Tunisia to London - return trip being on 11 July 2022) I discovered on unpacking that the inside zipped divider has ripped quite badly where the zip going round the outside is joined to the material. This is strange as the suitcase was not stuffed full, was almost 3 kgs below the allowed weight of 23 kgs and there was nothing sharp or heavy packed in either lid or other section. I am very disappointed as I thought this was such a quality brand - and other cheaper brands I have been using for years are still in good condition. Because of my home location abroad, I don't think it will be possible to put in a claim, but I think the company should know that there must have been some kind of defect in the stitching (I suspect the handle also). Unfortunately I must have been a bit careless with the receipt as I can't find it, though do have the plastic envelope containing the warranty conditions and TSA Lock Instructions.

Poor customer service and poor quality. Zip starting separating after first trip. Tried to claim was told I would have to post back at my own expense as nowhere near me to take back in person.

After 4 uses over 3 years, both carry handles became brittle and broke off. Pull handle became very sticky, like the plastic was melting. Tried claiming warranty but couldn't since they dont make the handles any longer. No remedy. Useless without the handles so will dump it. In comparrison, TravelPro sent me a brand new suitcase when they couldn't resolve my problem, Same type of suitcase - same price. Going with TravelPro from now on...

Purchased an item that arrived defective. Tried to find a phone number and could not. Sent a request for help through the only available option on the site. 2+ weeks without a response. Then i get a review request from them. I detailed what i wrote above and the “moderator” rejected my low review. Way too funny. Looks like they only accept/publish positive reviews. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

Mine didn't work as per the expectations.

I bought an American Tourister suitcase on the 3rd of January 2020 and just 4 days later (7th of January 2020) it started collapsing into pieces!!

I was shocked!!

I sent them photos and the receipt of the purchase and they refuse to replace it!!

The funniest thing is that they wrote at the end of their response:
"We are therefore sending the article back to you, free of charge..."
They didn't charge me for their response !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This company is a fraud !!!! Stay away from it !!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a cute yellow suitcase for hand luggage and I love it! It is very spacious. And delivery was very fast.

Very disappointing. Ordered and paid for 3 cases on 2-3 day delivery. Only 2 arrived. Emailed for an update but no response!
