Superb customer service and great deals
Alza offered the most competitive price and I thought to give it a try, even though I had never heard of it before. Delivery was fast and easy.
One accessory included with the product had already expired when I unpacked the delivery. While that was unfortunate, I understand that this can happen. What impressed me was the super fast, friendly, and simple customer service via WhatsApp. That was just incredibly solution-focused and left me satisfied.
I will definitely consider Alza from now on when ordering online.

Reasonable service after delivery problem
I bought a mobile phone and a charger. The package was to be delivered at a DHL parcel shop in Berlin.
First problem: the website said it would arrive on the 11th, but it arrived after noon on the 12th. The parcel came from the Czech Republic.
Second (and most important) problem: As soon as they gave me the box in the shop, I felt that it was not heavy. It wasn't empty, but it was light. I felt something was wrong, so I opened it in the shop and found out that the phone had been stolen. Only the charger was in the box. The tape was a little damaged, but it had been very cleverly reattached. I asked the lady in the shop to file a claim with DHL, but she said no, that I should speak to the seller directly.
I then contacted Alza. They responded quickly and kindly. Thank you Alena for your service. I had to provide pictures and sign an affidavit that the phone was missing. I didn't have a printer, so I had to write two pages by hand in German and then take a photograph. The next day I was told that the money for the phone would be refunded.
Now I have a charger but no phone, and I don't want to spend any more time returning the charger. They also didn't refund the €5 I was charged for postage, which I think they should have done.
All in all, they responded reasonably well, but I wouldn't buy from them again.
I also suggest they use better tamper proof packaging, not just a box with tape.
