Terribly disappointed – delayed order and useless automated responses
​I placed an order on July 26th and was given an estimated delivery date around August 1st. Today is August 10th, and the package still hasn't arrived.
​To make matters worse, the tracking information has been stuck showing that the parcel is in Scotland since August 2nd, with zero updates since then.
​Whenever I try to contact customer support via email to get help, I only receive an automated reply within a few seconds instead of an actual resolution or help from a real person.
​Very poor customer service and delivery experience. I expect my issue to be resolved immediately.

Great gear at great prices alongside fantastic service definitely a five star experience. Well done to all involved can’t say thank you enough for being so good at what you do.

The product range is great so you can find what you require to do the job easily. The customer service and delivery continues high end. Long may this continue. I'm becoming a regular user due to ease and reliability of the company.

Always find them to be accurate and reliable. Never had any issues so will continue to use them for all climbing and outdoor needs.

I ordered 8 days ago and I still dont have my item, now I am sure I will get the item and everything will be good based on these delivery times I would not order from them again and when you go to the contact us section you get a AI response on the email which is poor show.

Order cancelled without reason given, despite item being available online. Generic email with information of cancelled order, no explanation.
Previous purchases from this website were successful, no idea what changed this time

Tried to purchase an item from Alpinetrek.

After enterign my card details (correctly), I kept getting the message

"This payment type is not available for technical reasons. Please select a different payment type."

Went through the rigmarole of telephoning customer services, working my way through the push-button menu, only to be told they could not help me!

Disappointing. Had to order from Amazon instead.

I had to pay for a long delivery and as the trousers did not fit (althoufh I had the same make before), I had to pay for handlung cost for the return - twice. That is not good enough. I will stay away from Alpinetreck

Terrible products, terrible customer service
Item arrived with permanent marker writing on the sole. Customer service was rude & aggressive in their responses still waiting for refund. This is not a company to be trusted

AI based customer support and only refunded 1 of 2 items returned. Order ref 45515547. I recently returned 2 items in the same package and I subsequently received an email confirming a refund on only 1 of the items. I have emailed 3 times and I just receive chatbot AI generated responses that explain the returns process takes time, needs to clear customs etc etc. I pointed out that if both items were in the same parcel and a refund has been issued on one of them then its not delayed en route. I wouldn't buy from this company again. The order took a week to arrive which is pretty poor and the return items were sent nearly 3 weeks ago and still no resolution.

Would have been 5 stars but do not like the restocking fee when returning items.

UPDATED - I was waiting for a refund - I sent two items back in the same box. Only one has been refunded. That was weeks ago. Very limited responses with no resolution in sight. What’s going on ? - I eventually got a response and got a refund. I have not had issues before - so perhaps it was just a "blip". I will still be purchasing from you as your range of kit is great - and thanks for sorting out in the end.

I would definitely recommend Alpinetrek for future purchases, they were quick and responsive, and my delivery happened exactly when they said it would.

Awful Customer service and very long delay in receiving your item. My package took several weeks to arrive in UK and then it was delivered to the wrong address despite me giving Courier company very specific delivery instructions.

When I contacted the Alpine Trek to explain this, I was treated with rudeness and indifference by two different Customer service reps.

My money was finally refunded as I never got my package but nobody at the company bothered to send me an email to tell me this.

Unlike Snowleader, Alpinetrek.co.uk has superb customer service! When my parcel was delayed for unknown reasons by the courier, I contacted Alpinetrek.co.uk, and they gave me a refund immediately. I then re-purchased the same items, which arrived on time and are great.

Glad I ordered another Scarpa shoes, and light as I was not expected as light as this pair. Overall , good quality as usual, just a bit surprised that the laces are too thin and feeling sharp when put my shoe on.
