Terrible customer service.

I am very disappointed in the companies strategy with the way they handle problems. If you buy a slave, you are basically stuck with the company that you have your tool with. Regardless of how incompetent and unfair they may be. I would never again buy from them, but rather invest in a kt200ii. This gives you master ability. Allowing you to move your files to where ever you choose. Edit and response. You allow non professionals to be tuners, why should I not be allow to move my tool from them. Terrible business practice. I will never buy anything from alientech or any other company affiliated with them again. You have lost a client for life because you wont stand up for them.

I ordered my tool from an authorised…

I ordered my tool from an authorised dealer, 3 weeks later it managed to develop a fault. Alientech support (Italy) suggested I send it back for repair. After contacting alientech uk my new replacement tool was sent out immediately and delivered next day by DHL, amazing costumer service that saved me a lot of stress. Will definitely recommend to everyone!

Writing operations involve several variables (vehicle condition, battery stability, connection setup, protocol selection....), and each case must be evaluated carefully to identify the root cause.

Kess 3 needs better usb socket

I have been an alientech customer for over 10 years since the release of kess3 I have had too post tool back too alientech 3 times in 18 months every time the repair wasn’t covered by warranty. Costing over £2500 in repairs and import fees in the last 18 months the last repair the kess3 was working fine till software update. I was using kess usb and power supply at the time of update.

Our technical records show that your unit has been serviced three times over the last 18 months, each time for physical damage to the USB-C or J2 connectors. Because the parts were found to be mechanically stressed, the repairs could not be covered under warranty. We fully understand that the resulting costs and downtime are disappointing.

That said, we want to help you get back to work with confidence. As this relates to physical connector damage, we’d like to review the set-up with you to identify any likely cause and prevent a recurrence—for example, an accidental impact, unexpected mechanical strain, or the use of cabling different from that supplied with your KESS3.
Your satisfaction matters to us, and we are committed to providing a definitive solution and ensuring the correct operation of your tool going forward.

We understand your reseller is already managing your case and we’re supporting them closely. We’re confident this will be resolved promptly and to your satisfaction, and we appreciate your patience while the final checks are completed.
