Page is not working in 70% of the time

Page is not working in 70% of the time. It is also not impossible to hand over the contract to someone else. There is always an error. Always at a different stage, but 100% not working.

This website in the times of AI powered softwaredevelplment, makes me really sad. It just needs like 1 day of improvement.

Terrible experience with Aldi Talk

Terrible experience with Aldi Talk. After years of monthly payments, I still can’t get an invoice despite multiple requests over 3 months (ia the app, email, and phone calls.) worst customer experience I’ve ever had with a mobile operator. Plus, the network coverage is awful across Germany. Very dissatisfied! I do not recommend a all!!

Aldi Talk Simcard

I have been using this simcard since I came to germany around 6 years ago. Customer service is the worst and takes them ages to reply and if they replied, they only cope and paste some lines from their guidlines. The application is unstable and really unreliable and only in german!

Constant maintenance work leaves you without internet data for days

Since I joined ALDI TALK in Germany, they are performing maintenance work on their website (and) app, without informing the customers. I have been left every time for at least one day (and since today morning, again) without data, without ability to work. I work from home and this is a real NO GO!
Customer service didn't provide any alternative solution for topping up data - I have the unlimited package.
One cannot perform any operations on their web site. I cannot even cancel the contract.

theft! I have been a customer of aldi talk for 7 years, I changed by bank to N26 because I don't earn much and Commerzbank started charging for the account. I forgot to change my account on Alditalk, so it (without making this clear) cancelled my ongoing contract, and changed to this kind of weird expensive contract (Basis Tarif). I tried over multiple emails to get N26 accepted, in the mean time I was told to get a "Guthaben" (but was not told to to use it immediately on activating Tarif M again). I bought enough "guthaben" for a fee of course, for 2 months so I wouldn't need to worry as was going on Holiday.I thought as soon as I had money, it would go back to Tarif M like usual, as my account was in the negative and it had charged me 15 euros, the cost of Tarif M. But this was not the case, it had cancelled my ongoing Tarif M without saying, and after turning off my wifi to check if it had worked, it then, after around 15 mins, used up all 60 Euros of my Guthaben.

It was a horrible feeling, after 7 years to be treated like that, and after calling the help center, and being noticably upset, I was hung-up on by the person working there. I was told to send an email, and got a weird response back.I will be making a complaint at the german consumer court, and leaving aldi talk, shade.

Cheater company

I have been using this sub quality service for almost a year and now it is getting worst.
Package are offered to use internet in EU but doesn't work in some of EU states like Switzerland etc. They are simply like a cheater company.
Network coverage issue is also an awful problem for the customers.
Very poor customer service offered by this telecom. I bought new Sim for my wife and it was supposed to have 10 Euro balance or a startup package but it was Zero.

I have never experienced such confusing…

I have never experienced such confusing and unhelpful customer support.

I cancelled a phone number in September 2024 and even received a written confirmation. Despite that, ALDI TALK continued to withdraw money every 28 days for almost a year. When I asked for clarification and a refund, their support team misunderstood my request, reactivated the number without my consent, and then even terminated the wrong number recently.

Every interaction has required multiple follow-ups, and instead of solving the issue, the situation keeps getting worse. I now have to consider legal/consumer protection steps just to stop charges for a contract I cancelled long ago.

If you value clear communication and reliable support, avoid ALDI TALK.

Great Communication and a Smooth Number Transfer

Despite some challenges I faced in updating my address and recovering my SIM card, I appreciate the effort and communication from the team throughout the process. It showed me how much coordination and verification go into keeping customer accounts secure.
Interestingly, when I decided to transfer my number, the process was surprisingly smooth, a nice reminder that switching providers can be easy and seamless when needed.
Overall. I learned a lot from this experience and hope the company continues improving its systems to make things even more efficient for future customers.

Everything was always extremely…

Everything was always extremely complicated and inneficient. The last months I lost my sim-card and could not recover it because they were not able to update my address ( afte sending all the requested documents and they confirmed they told me they would 15days to update it ???????) and after more than a month, the address is still not ok. Strange as it can be, to take my number to a new company was super easy. Unless you deal will witn terrible service, find a new provider

Clear a 10 euro stealing by an apparently big company.


Got a sim card for 3 weeks ago, so many times trying to activate it by the app or via any shopping center or any address, where the app showed me, but nothing , all said it was not related to them. They also refused to get the card back and did not refund the paid money. Absolutely shameful. Clear a 10 euro stealing by an apparently big company. Shameful!

Worse provider

Worse provider, first getting to contact Aldi is a problem. I can't change my tariff neither can I reach them. I can't recommend it to anyone, it has really given me hectic time

I had a prepaid card for my daughter

I had a prepaid card for my daughter. Everything was ok until i could not recharge it over the app anymore. So today I decided to change the Nr to another provider and i almost changed my mind, because there was probably the most experienced and nice Operator in customer support that actually knew perfectly how to do his job. And the previous time i called, i was really upset because of the recharge issue and the lady on the phone was also very patient and nice. I do understand that people usually call because they have a problem to solve and are already nervous and even impolite while calling and this is not an easy, nor very pleasant job. I really do appreciate the operators that handled it so professionally. Although i changed the provider, i can still recommend AldiTalk, specially for prepaid Numbers.
