I bought a bottle of Mekbec rose 🌹 wine yesterday in aldi. Upon opening I thought I smelt petrol...on tasting ugh it was so acidic! It is not worth buying!

Had an issue racist issue with a store Hallgreen, Birmingham store, customer services were completely useless so contacted Head office and no response you definitely get what you pay for. RUBBISH SERVICE.

I bought lots of veg to make soup. The onions were 'shot' with green stalks sprouting from the tops. The leeks had hard solid centre stalks. The swede was black inside and had to be thrown out.

Staff attitudes are shockingly poor. Aldi clear have little interest in employing staff who have them minimum amount of common courtesy. Extremely poor!

Shopping at Aldi and paid by debt card in return got fine ticket for car park.

Shop has an unkept appearance the middle isle looks like it’s been abandoned, it seems that the vast majority of food items ate sugary sweets , cakes and crisps very poor selection of good quality food but worst of all is the SHORT life shelves of the food almost impossible to do a weeks shopping due to the short shelve life. There is always a. Issue with stocking the shelves . In caparison to Lidl which always seems to have a well kept appearance and stocked shelves .

I bought an Aldi kitchen mixer tap 2023 still in warranty it broke it returned it to the shop with the receipt to be told nothing can be done as the code wasn't valid on the receipt given aldi helpline number called them told was warranty company contacted them never heard anything. Called Aldi again requesting official complaint registered hear nothing. Nearly a month later I called again was assured was being dealt with.Finally got an email with a code went back to the shop saw the original lady who explained it was the wrong code. She put in the original code from the receipt added 001 and guess what it worked i finally got the refund. Still waiting for the warranty people for costs of the plumber not heard anything. ALdi has lost a customer beware buying any promotional items

Staff at Retford shop are not controlled by their manager and think their have Police powers and assault customer

SO ON THE 26th /3rd/26 I WENT TO DO MY USAL SHOP AS I WAS STROLLING AROUND THE ISLES I HEARD A VOICE SAY IN A LOUD HARSH MANNER SAY EXCUSE ME, I TURNED AND I VERY BIG,TALL MAN TOWERED OVER ME . I KNEW OF HIM TO BE THE STORE MANAGER,MARK HE WAS SHAKING AND RED. I SAID HI, HE THEN SAID QUITE LOUDLY YOUR GONNA HAVE TO LEAVE,🫤😟I SAID "WHAT", LOOKING AROUND TO SEE IF IT WAS A JOKE. HE SAID NO YOUR GONNA HAVE TO LEAVE THE STORE NOW,I WAS LIKE WHY ??? IVE NOT DONE ANYTHINK. HE SAID YOU CALLED MY FRIEND FAT,😦 I STUTERED "LIKE WHATTTT, " WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ????. I ASKED HIM TO WRITE DOWN WHAT HE WAS ACCUSING ME OF AND THE ALLEGATIONS. I HAD TO TELL HIM ITO DATE IT AND TIME AS HE WAS REALLY SHAKING BY THEN. I WAS SO ANGRY AS I KNEW SHE HAD CALLED OR REFERED TO GAIL ON THAT DAY AS THE FAT ONE. THIS MADE ME SO ANGRY KNOWING HOW SHE HAD LIED AND SAID I HAD MADE THAT DISCUSTING COMMANT. ESPECILLY SINCE OTHER STAFF AND PEOPLE HAD TOLD ME THAT THIS WAS HER MO AND HOW SHE REFERED TO PEOPLE AND THAT WAS WHO SHE WAS AND SPOKE. I WAS STILL IN SHOCK BY THIS POINT AS MY BRAIN COULDNT UNDERSTAND WHY SHE WOULD GO TO THE STORE MANAGER AND TELL HIM THAT I HAD SAID SUCH A DISCUTING BODY WOMEN SHAMING COMMANT. I PUT IN A COMPLAINT STRAIGHT AWAY TO A SENIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, ADVISOR LADY CALLED KAREN BELL BUT SHE SAID THAT SHE WOULD LOOK INTO IT. BUT AFTER GETTING BACK TO ME VERY QUICKLY ACCTUALLY SHE SAID THAT THERE WAS NOTHING SHE COULD DO. I ASKED HER TO RECORD THE CALLS AS I WAS AND SHE SAID THAT SHE WOULD RECORD THE CALLS WHITCH I WAS VERY HAPPY ABOUT AS ITS PROOF OF MY COMPLAINT SO ALL MINE AND HER CALLS I HAVE RECORDED. I TRIED TO SPEAK TO THE CEO GILES HURLY BUT EVERYONE SAID IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE AND THAT BASSICALLY HE WOULDNT WANT TO KNOW. I WAS SHOCKED AT THIS AS WHY WOULDNT HE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT RUDE, AND AS I WAS LATER INFORMED RACIST STAFF. THIS WAS A SHOCK TO ME. NOBODY WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT EITHER SUBJECTS. ONLY ONE LADY WAS SHOCKED WHEN I CALLED THE FIRST TIME ON CUSTOMER SERVICES. SHE WAS LIKE 😮WHAAAT A LIFE TIME BAN FOR AN ALLEGED HEAR SAY,ACCUSATION AND A LIE AT THAT. SHE SAID THAT IS MADNESS AND THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHINK ELS OF MALLICE FROM THEM AS THEY HAVE SHOPLIFTERS AND VIOLENT PEOPLE THAT GO IN THIER STORES AND THEY ARE ALLOWED BACK IN AND MARK THE MANAGER HAS GIVEN THIS LADY A LIFE TIME BAN FOR AN ALLEDGED F.. COMMANT FROM SOMEONE WHO IS KNOWN TO BE AN ATTENSHION SEEKER AND TROUBLE CAUSER IN HER COMMUNITY. ITS HEAR SAY AND A LIE TO BOOT. ITS ALSO CRAZY TO ME.

I am writing this review to publicly document a severe and unlawful abuse of authority by the store manager at the Aldi branch in Hatfield.

During a recent visit , the manager refused to allow me to purchase my groceries unless she could have a search an empty carrier bag . Even after i explicitly showed her the bag was entirely empty with just a few old receipts, she aggressively took my shopping off the conveyor belt and insisted I abandon my shopping and leave the store .
This entirely unprovoked targeted constitutes direct discrimination and harassment under Section 29 of the Equality Act 2010 .
Worse still , when I left the manager followed me outside to the car park And took a photograph of my car and registration.

She also place a false report to the police , resulting in my vehicle tailgated and resorted back to a nearby police station. I was immediately released without charge the moment I showed the police my own video recordings of the incident, which proved the manager’s claims were completely false.

I have full video evidence of this entire event . A formal complaint has been escalated to aldi’s National head office demanding the immediate suspension of this manager .

I expect an immediate response from Aldi ‘s Senior legal and compliance team.

Purchased Ashfield brand large pack (14 slices) British Honey ham, with added water, such a large pack, but no tear back plastic film; having to sterilise your home scissors & leaving sharp corners to packaging is both dangerous & time wasting. Aldi's manage to have tear back strips on other products they sell so why not this product; or is it a case of reducing sales & thus reasoning por sales = a discontinued line.

Prenton, Wirral disabled spaces have been poorly thought out. No thought for a persons actual disability, if there was, spaces would be closer!

My best friend and I visited Aldi Longwater 4th June. The staff Shireen n Marta couldn’t have been more helpful to us on the checkout and they had a great sense of humour making us laugh every minute we were there which is a rarity these days. We love shopping at this Aldi and with happy staff like these ladies we look forward to our next big shop. Credit to Aldi’s staff and their customer service 👏👏👏

Alan Ross who works at the Bathgate Aldi- has shown me nothing but kindness & generosity. He has an infectious smile and really went over and beyond for me today. I have gone through a really difficult time in my life, I was short at the till for food, by couple of pounds. Which I was embarrassed about however, Alan dealt with the situation in the most kind way possible, he covered the cost and let me go. Even tho it was £2-3 it still meant a lot to me ( someone who was homeless) . That man is a gentleman and deserves recognition. Thank you Alan x

I bought a cool bag yesterday and when I opened it one of the zips was faulty. I returned it this morning and was totally blown away with how I was spoken to. I explained the situation, the cashier was so condescending asking if I broke it and spent a while trying to fix it. The poor man who let me go in front must have regretted it! I have used this store for years and feel really angry on how I was treated. Staff should not be making assumptions like that making the customer feel terrible!

Had to throw away the bbq chicken stuffed crust pizza. It was full of bbq sauce, no cheese just sickly bbq sauce stuffed crust full of sauce. It was awful. Where is the cheese?? Had some disappointing fruit too. Oranges were dry tasteless and had to throw most away. Honeydew melon was under ripe as was the avocardo. Ive been shopping at aldi for years but its gone down hill. Wont go again now as too many rotten things.

I used to buy ALDI Jerk Chicken ready meals, they were nice and tasty, but now they have been re branded as Protein Jerk Chicken and are tasteless and in my view rubbish, I can't believe that they have gone from great to rubbish, even the pineapple pieces are solid and inedible, they are pieces of the core of the pineapple that you throw away.
Also I will now never buy salad bags, because they only have a very short use by date.
I used to shop there every week, now, it's probably once a month.

I'm saddened to see all the poor ratings. It seems many are just one particular item or occasion that has resulted in a 1 star rating which is inaccurate when rating Aldi overall.

I have recently moved from online (other well known retailer) shops to Aldi in store and I've noticed a significant drop in my weekly shop bill. That's the biggest win.
The store is new, clean and well laid out. My only gripe is the doors they have on the fridges are annoying when you're waiting whilst someone is farting around hunting for the best date on a pack of avocados. However, I understand the need for them and they do make sense.
The staff are always polite, there is one lady in particular who I've come to recognise on my early morning Friday shop. If I catch her name next week, I'll update my review.
Very regular deliveries mean that they are usually well stocked with what I need.
I personally find much of the fruit and veg to be of adequate quality considering the price. Any that is poor is usually because it is out if season (grapes from India are awful by the way)
I like the Super 6 and I'm a fiend for the middle aisle, my garden is lit up like Blackpool Pleasure Beach with all the solar lights I keep picking up recently!
Parking and access is perfect for my needs.

I was in Warrington Aldi today first time I have shopped there and last time found girl on till no customer service skills more interested in her white nails , also same girl pushed cage on to shop floor I moved out the way for her to let her pass she just charged pass me with attitude , I've worked in customer service for 26 years and would never treat customer this way I had full trolly and spent a lot of money today in your shop I won't be returning , if your not happy in your job I suggest find one that suits you !Friday 5th june
