I received a gift a jug which was faulty. I took it back to my local store as there was a crack in the handle. I had no receipt. There was no barcode because it was a gift to be fair. The lady at the desk of the deputy manager were polite, but because there was no customer service desk, I had to go to one of the tills and subsequently held up the other shoppers again and again they said there was nothing they could do. They didn’t recognise the product and I couldn’t have any kind of refund even though they probably could’ve looked it up on their system just wouldn’t have it. I thanked them politely but then was ridiculed and laughed at by the other customers who I had held up. This was incredibly Embarrassing. I then rang head office customer complaints and they said the same thing never ever have. I come across a company where it is clearly obvious you have a faulty item which to be fair if I’d have added anything to the jug the handle would’ve snapped off. You think that they would be interested in a faulty item which they are selling to the public, I will never ever set foot inside an Audi store again if this is how they treat their customers.
Bought Crane waterproof training shoes…
Bought Crane waterproof training shoes . 2nd time worn on wet grass ,the dye from the shoes or insoles has stained my feet blue. Stained my bedroom carpet and 2 weeks later my toe nails are still blue. Complained with photos, videos, phone calls, emails, returned the shoes for them to investigate, they will present every barrier and denial from their customer services and are really appalling. They suggest it will be my fault. They will investigate internally for 6 to 8 weeks and I will not be informed of the results!. We spend at least £3k to £5k per annum with Aldi for about 18 years, so about £54k minimum spent but they really do not care when things go wrong. Awful customer service, awful store, avoid!
Staff Keeping Special Buys For Themselves
Went to Burscough, Tarleton, Wigan and Skelmersdale Aldi this week on Thursday to get the portable fans on their special buy. Burscough store is notorious for staff holding stuff back so that they can buy it themselves and true to form, when I asked where the fans were, they said that they had them out back because they couldn’t scan them. Really? Tarleton said they never got them. Utter rubbish. Wigan said they sold out almost immediately which I find hard to believe. And Skelmersdale said they had some on the stock checker but in store they said they were sold out. When I said it says there are some in store they said it’s obviously a mistake. I thought staff weren’t allowed to buy things unless they shopped like a normal customer? Tried to send a formal complaint to Aldi but you have to complain to the manager of the store. Which kind of defeats the purpose when there’s a problem with the store. I’m going to avoid them from now on. Prices are better elsewhere anyway.

Not a vegetarian product.
Just want to make shoppers aware that an item they are selling is NOT Vegetarian. The Foodie Market Apricot and Almond mix have SHELLAC in it. Shellac is NOT a vegetarian product.
It should not be used as a vegetarian item. According to the vegetarian society and the food standards agency this is NOT permitted or approved to be classed as vegetarian. Shellac comes from the Lac Bug if anyone’s unsure. If people are not likely to read the ingredients they trust the V symbol on the front as being accurate and honest they have no idea they have eaten this product. How many other ingredients are they using that they are declaring as vegetarian that aren’t. They need better informed staff tk be making decisions like this because they clearly have no food knowledge. I have been a vegetarian for over 40 years and have no desire to eat anything like this shellac product and I’m sure there are many others that agree with me. It has been removed from vegetarian society approval list and they should be adhering to these standards to satisfy these requirements.
If this were an allergen they decided not to mention they would have a potential death and massive law suit on their hands. Food labelling is there for a reason.
If they are adding shellac to their foods then they should REMOVE the V sign from the box. They are mislabelling this item. Have contacted Aldi but not really bothered. They replied with consumers can make their own choice if they want to eat it. THATS NOT THE POINT I’m sure people will decide, but the label is misleading and misinforming.
Misleading
Absolutely pathetic trying to order anything on the site uses my price match options in different stores sure they will take my £130 a week

Sell items with 1 year warranty but if its faulty after a couple uses don't allow a return or refund when it breaks. Say to contact manufacturer who send you back to Aldi. Then make up silly responses to contact random other companies in X messages. Don't buy tat from the middle isle it don't last

visited aldi clock tower chelmsford on…
visited aldi clock tower chelmsford on monday morning, had 2 full basket loads of goods and went to self checkout but the lady said she would open till 8 if we go over there, we put all our groceries on the conveyor belt and a man come over and said he would open the till in 5 mins 😩after 3 mins another customer got in the queue behind us. i then said to the guy who’s name is S- - - - why he is not opening the till and said he would be at least another 5 minutes as needed to unload a pallet out the back i said i wanted to see the manager and im not happy he told me i would have to wait in a cocky way, i expect if the store continues to treat paying customers in this way, people will shop elsewhere, i left all my shopping on the conveyor belt and went to M&S opposite and as usual received excellent service. not sure if i will shop at this store again if this is there attitude etc.
More than disgusted!!
OK then aldi seen as you dont have an email for customer services anymore...
I've just visited your store this morning and I am very disappointed with a certain member of your staff.
The aisle was blocked with a Crate which 2 members of team were putting stock out from. So I politely asked one of the members of staff who was about to put some stock in the fridge if I could please get past as there was a customer browsing at the other side. I understand she had a job to do however she didn't say a word to me but stood up hardly moved and gave me the most disgusted look like I'd just asked her to kiss my shoe. Her attitude stinks as this is not the first time I have had a problem in store with this woman, I have previously witnessed her being racist on the shop floor a few months back talking in a Chinese accent to her work colleague who was laughing with her. Which I thought was bang out of order anyway for me to then go down the next aisle and see a Chinese family shopping.
As someone who has had 15 years work experience in retail 10 of which are in management this kind of behaviour and attitude from a woman who looks old enough to know better is completely unacceptable. She has zero customer service skills and should not be on the shop floor with an attitude like that. How she still has her job is beyond me as I only pop in for bits through the week now and stopped shopping here on a regular due to the lack of customer service skills most of the staff dont seem to have in your store. Zero understanding of my son who has profound autism was the first reason.
For reference the woman is tall and skinny short reddish brownish hair glasses and a face like a lemon.
Chartists Way, Morley, Leeds LS27 9ET
I look forward to hearing back from you or maybe not at all if this is the service provided in store I'm presuming customer service is at the bottom of the list of priorities.
Abysmal customer service (should be no customer service!
Aldi seemed to have decided you will shop the way they want you too. Many items are aimed at the bigger families which I understand BUT I should consider the smaller shopper too.
I was a regular shopper at Aldi, Kings Hill since it openedbut nowadays rarely go in. I do my shopping but because it’s in a basket I’m not allowed to go through service till inevitably there’s only one service still working and usually that has turned red as I approach. Forced to go to self service, which I detest I often see the till reopen and when I query it I’ve been told that’s only for trolley customers.
The second time I was told this I emptied my basket and walked out leaving it on the self service area. I went down the road to Lidl’s where I received the service that I expect.

I’m desperately trying to give Aldi a chance so I used them this weekend to purchase barbecue bits. The lamb kebabs are rough, synthetically mint flavoured, and most definitely ultra processed whipped up lamb remnants… just awful. Sausages much the same, the texture is just dreadful, they actually taste like blended frankfurters. The wine is better but the meat is appalling. Also hardly any organic options…

Staff customer service is 0,and the…
Staff customer service is 0,and the security is worse, the staff themselves are the one stealing from the store and then racially profilling an innocent shopper as the thief according to an old staff,be carefull when you carry stuff from another store, they only search coloured people while the real thieves made away with their stuff, well street store is the worst in kent area for wrong acusation of theft.
rump steaks
purchased 2 rump steaks and both were half gristle and had to be thrown away. very poor quality
Massive fan of Aldi but....
Massive fan of Aldi, staff the food brilliant but.... Aldi's Belmont Fig Rolls... You've really dropped the ball on these and the "digestives" the fig rolls should be called Pastry Rolls and the digestives are that salty reminiscent of the North Sea🤮
