The finest restaurant in Edinburgh, if not all of Europe. I know this sounds a bit much, but it's really truly an experience to be had. This is about drink and food. The chef's palate and Jade who handles the front of the house and drink pairings with courses (be sure to get the pairings, it completes this magnificent experience, dare I say don't go if you don't do the drink parings) make this a perfect place. Aizle (a Scots Gaelic word for ember or spark) is a cozy restaurant on the south side of Edinburgh. Their five-course tasting menu is based around the “Monthly Harvest”, a list of featured local and seasonal ingredients. With breathtaking views of Arthur’s Seat and a memorable bespoke cocktail list, it’s the perfect spot for a romantic dinner for two.
