I have used A GREAT READ for a few books now. Their service is consistently reliable and their collection is impressive.

I highly recommend this book store for their fast shipping and excellent packaging. My books arrived in pristine condition and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

The packaging of the books I ordered was impressive, as they arrived in immaculate condition.

This company is in liquidation, with a list of creditors as long as your arm.

The website should be shutdown as people can still place orders.

The book shop has gone bust and taken its customers down with it, funnily you can still purchase online how the book does that work

They are going into liquidation
So don't order anything you will lose your money and not get it back.

Sadly, appear to be going into liquidation. Not sure why website is still active - which seems a disorderly way of closing things but letter from proposed liquidators confirms it. Shame. It was a good company.

This company has gone into administration and orders are not being fulfilled - I suggest that this website should contain a caveat about this.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I ordered a book in early June. The website said it was awaiting shipment. Email requests for an update were ignored and the customer service telephone number is constantly engaged. I will not use this company again.

Regarding comments, not received goods. I have used this company before without any problems. My latest order not received. Have today had a communication from begbies traynor that the company is insolvent with a form to make a claim. I have returned this and await a refund. I hope this is useful to others.

Like others recently, i have not received my latest order, and have got no response to calls and emails. I have initiated a chargeback on my debit card via my bank. Sadly today I have received documentation in the post to say the company has gone in to voluntary liquidation. This is such a shame for all concerned, whether a director, employee, supplier or customer. I have always previously received excellent service from A Great Read. It’s so challenging maintaining a business at the moment. I wish you all well.

Ordered Mezcla by Ixta Belfrage in April on preorder. It was published last week but hadn’t been delivered. No update on tracking info. Can’t get through on phone. No reply to contact form sent. Recent reviews show other customers experiencing same issues. Want my money back

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
Pre-ordered a book in February. Was meant to be released in June. Did not receive so sent an email. No response. Have tried phoning today but phone is always engaged. Have noticed that the book is no longer available on their website. After having read other recent reviews, I am not expecting to get a response from the company. Absolutely appalling customer service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Took my money over a month ago and since refused to reply to 4-5 separate enquiries. Item now vanished from website. Phone constantly off the hook at all hours of the day. Threatened legal action under the Consumers Rights Act 2015 and still no response. Will be commencing legal action imminently.

Does this company even exist???
I placed an order at the beginning of May and have still not received the book! Their phone line is constantly engaged so I’ve not been able to speak to anyone. I’ve sent several emails and messenger messages and no one has replied. Would not recommend this company.

I too ordered Meliz's Kitchen on 3rd May pre-order. I am very disappointed and now annoyed at the lack of response to emails enquiring where my book is. Telephone goes straight to busy. I would like a full refund please!!

Daughter ordered 2 books for my birthday in May. They were preorders released on June 25th. Have heard nothing and can not get to speak to any one

Ordered a book that was released on June 30th called Meliz's Kitchen: Simple Turkish-Cypriot comfort food and fresh family feasts.. whilst everybody else has received their book, mine has not arrived, nobody has responded to my email and the phone number is busy. I just want contact to know what’s happening pls 😡
