Always used AGD. reliable team. Warren our engineer is fabulous.

A great local company who go out of their way to get things right from start to finish.
The installation team, particularly James in the office and Jamie and Lewis on site, were fantastic and their work installing was excellent. The two guys on site (Jamie and Lewis) took huge pride in their work and this is rare to find these days. James in the office came out on site at the start of the installation and was always at the end of the phone if any queries arise.
I would absolutely recommend to anyone considering new gates or an upgrade, service or support with existing systems.

We had some issues with our electric gate and were quoted over £4000.00 from the original supplier for items not needed to be done before they could work on the gate. I spoke to AGD and they send an engineer out within 24 hours who repaired the gate within 90 min. He did a report and got quoted some replacement parts what was £360.00. Again, after one day everything was fitted and replaced. Great service and communication is fantastic. 10/10

Chris arrived and immediately filled us with confidence. He spent the right amount of time servicing the gate and also advising us on safety and the alterations we needed to do. Did NOT want a cup of tea ( ha ha )....top bloke !!

I have just had electric gates fitted, I am so pleased from start to finish. Definitely 5stars to the company. To James for fully explaining the whole process.
If it’s possible to give 10 stars to Lewis and Jamie who had to take up and relay some block paving in adverse weather conditions. Their work was outstanding. Always arriving on time. The relay of the brick paving was excellent!! Many thanks to them

Absolute BRILLIANT Service from start to finish.
Called into their offices and spoke with James on the Friday regarding damaged caused to our electric gate from vehicle impact, emailed photos and what the issues where, AGD arranged for an Engineer "Chris" to call out Monday who sorted everything for us in one visit.
Chris was very thorough on what the problems where with the gate and what works he had carried out, he also advised on additional safety measures we should consider to have installed on the gate due to regulations.
Cannot highly recommend AGD Systems including the office team in their efficient response and advise given and we welcome them back to install the safety measures.

Despite the pouring rain and strong winds, Warren carried out the annual maintenance of our electric gate with incredible professionalism, care and knowledge; he was excellent in so many ways.

I recently used AGD Systems, experts in installing rising bollards, for a project involving a site survey and fitting two bollards to my brick-paved drive..

The team arrived promptly and thoroughly surveyed the site. Jamie explained the options clearly and answered my questions. They were upfront about a key challenge: the drive sits on clay, complicating drainage. Bollards in water corrode and fail, so they adjusted the fit to include a separate drain hole with a pump. This ensures reliable performance for the foundations and bollards in the long term. This attention to detail truly sets them apart.

The workmanship was meticulous during installation. It’s a big job; the two bollards sit in separate 1.2m holes to allow drainage material below.

After installation, the driveway bricks needed re-laying for a seamless finish. The result is excellent; the bricks align perfectly and the two rising bollards sit flush and operate smoothly. This maintains the drive’s aesthetics while providing security.

Reliability and aftercare were also strong points. While AGD Systems isn’t the cheapest option, their 30-year trading history instilled confidence in their long-term support. Overall, I’m very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend AGD Systems.

Very friendly and helpful sales team who were on hand to answer any questions or queries. The site engineers, again friendly, completed the install to a high standard and on time.

The company were just super, that are now my regular supplier for gate entry systems. I have had people before and do a standard service and not much else, which leads to continuous issues. Warren from Agd was superb in providing an all round service and then came back to fix a slight issue. They really deserve all 5 stars!

From the initial sales enquiry to the final installation and handover, the overall quality of service I received from AGD Systems was fantastic. The engineer arrived on time and spent time exhaustively investigating the gate systems to find an intermittent fault. He explained his processes fully and was not satisfied until he had found the faulty component and replaced it. He was courteous and reassuring throughout. Excellent team and service. We have had two sets of gates from them. The second gates were stained incorrectly and had to be re-ordered. Efficient fitting once arrived. After-service is also great. Particular mentions for Brian, Lee, James and Tim. Thank you.

AGD installed superb gates when they said they would do ! The two chaps who installed were amazing - helpful, flexible and supremely professional. The only thing that let AGD down were their skip sub contractor - who never turned up on time - over a week late ! Would thoroughly recommend AGD
