Avoid Beauvais–Tillé Airport if you can. I had a layover there and almost missed my flight because of the airport’s terrible organization and management. The queues were unbelievably long for no clear reason, and the whole process felt chaotic from start to finish.

The passport control officers were rude, unprofessional, and seemed completely unprepared to handle passengers efficiently. The airport honestly felt like it was operating on a different planet compared to any modern airport experience.

Very stressful and disappointing experience.

Worst Aeroport Ever!

It was the worst experience I´ve ever had in my life while traveling! They confiscated my tripod with the pretext it could be used has a weapon, which it's totally random and unreasonable (because if that's the case everything could be used has a weapon, like a key, a belt, a shoelace, ect,...), and I´ve never ever got any problems before in the multiple airports and flying companies through Europe and North Africa! In the control when confistated my tripod they used the argument it was the policy of the airport, and after when my aunt dislocated to the airport do collect and pay to have my item back, they said it was the flying company policy, which it´s totally a lie, because they didn´t know in which company I was flying! If in fact, the company didn´t allow me to travel with my tripod they would let me know while entering aboard the plane and not the security control!
In that airport they just randomly select items from the people just to make people pay, and just don´t care at all! Even if you try to explain and have a reasonable conversation they just don´t care! You either pay to put all the baggage in the cargo hold or have someone go and collect the items and pay for which one of them! I'm not even going to extend myself describing the horrible treatment of the people through security control and the caos it was in the overall airport, if I didn´t go as early as I was, I would miss my flight because of the management of the security control and the issue they haved with my item.
Never again in life traveling through Airport Beauvais, it was the first and last time! Most stressfull experience ever!

Was nervous after reading reviews but not so bad

I read the reviews before my recent trip and it made me quite anxious to arrive at this airport. I have to say it was pretty straightforward, we flew through passport control when we got there literally out and on the bus within half an hour.
Yes, on our return flight the terminal was packed, we arrived 2 hours before our flight. The queues aren't as long as they seem though and we had no problem checking our bags in and getting on our flight back to Manchester. Pretty basic airport but not all that bad just get there handy and keep your ears open for information.

Overall an okay experience

The facilities at Beauvais are limited, only four passport booths open when we arrived and only four security check belts operational when we departed. It took nearly two hours to get through passport control on arrival and about 90 minutes to get through security when we came home. Small spaces made it feel quite chaotic and noisy but all of the staff were working extremely hard and were friendly and helpful within the limits of their knowledge of English and our knowledge of French. Yes some travellers did have to change their toiletries bags at security but this was because they hadn’t followed the instructions regarding see through bags and small bottles and staff provided correct bags for them to use instead. Bus transfer to and from Paris was easy to find, on time and comfortable, but the airport is farther out than others so taking longer should be expected. Overall an okay experience but the airport needs investment and expansion to meet the demands of the number of flights arriving and departing.

Horrible.

I don’t usually write reviews, but today's experience was so negative that it became necessary. I consider this the worst European airport in terms of passenger treatment. I felt my privacy was violated and I was treated without the slightest bit of respect.

Despite having cosmetics that were all strictly under 100ml and compliant with current regulations, the staff attempted to dispose of my personal belongings without my consent. The excuse was the use of a specific clear bag provided by them, but what was truly unacceptable was the manner in which it was handled: I was mocked by the staff while I was simply trying to manage the situation.

The most critical aspect concerns their selection criteria: a female staff member began setting aside, with extreme "accuracy," precisely my most expensive cosmetics and perfumes, while ignoring bulkier but cheaper items. This behavior raises serious doubts about the transparency and integrity of their screening procedures.

Furthermore, my luggage was inspected with a total lack of care or consideration for my clothes and personal effects. It was a dismal service, characterized by arrogance and a complete lack of respect for the passenger. A very bitter end to my trip that I hope no one else has to experience.

ZERO STARS AVOID this airport at all costs

I have traveled to 75 countries, and I have never encountered an airport as poorly managed and AWFUL as this one. The airport was chaotic, with long, disorganized lines that created a stressful, mob-like environment. Agents screamed out flights that were departing, causing a bottleneck at the security turnstiles.

Once at the checkpoint, the behavior of the security agents was completely unacceptable. Passengers were not only strictly scrutinized for carrying multiple small items, but all were verbally berated and insulted. I personally had my lipstick confiscated, while others were forced to leave behind powdered blush—all handled in a disrespectful and humiliating manner. It felt like outright abuse.

All of my items were TSA-compliant and packed in my carry-on, so I do not understand why they were taken. Meanwhile, my Purell liquids, clearly visible on my bags, were ignored. Agents chatted among themselves while travelers waited, and screamed at passengers when flights were boarding. I had to literally run to the tarmac to board because of their hesitation.

Travelers should not have to endure abuse while complying with security regulations. ALL of my products were regulation 3 ounces and fit perfectly in my carry-on.

This airport urgently needs clearer organization, better queue management, and staff training on respectful enforcement of rules.

Overall, this was the WORST airport experience I have ever had. What should be a routine part of travel became unnecessarily stressful and degrading. AVOID THIS AIRPORT.

If I could put ZERO stars I would

If I could put ZERO stars I would, this is the worst airport I ever traveled from: endless waiting lines (It took me more than two hours to get through customs), and the most incompetent and rude staff I’ve ever encountered that almost made miss the flight to half of the plane.
I would advise you never book a flight from here, what you save in flight tickets you spend it in Uber and Bus to get here and then you’d have to deal with incompetence and long waits.

Disgustingly rude “staff”

Airport staff searched me for over 20 mins and completely emptied both of my bags without any explanation, treating me like a criminal and holding up the endless queue behind us. I was stripped of my shoes and jumper and aggressively searched for no reason and then told to wait in security as they called someone in when all i had in my bag were clothes. The man searching my bag was even taking out, and looking through all my underwear and socks (extremely unnecessary and even more disgusting considering i’m just a young girl) and beckoning over all the other security staff, pointing at me and giving me and my family dirty looks and talking about us in French which we obviously couldn’t understand - when they could clearly tell i was on the verge of tears. After someone from an office and a report form came to question me about contact with drugs or explosives they told me to proceed to my flight which i was then almost late for as i was cornered in security for over 20 minutes! Overall this was an overwhelmingly horrible experience to have as an 18 year old girl flying with her family and being completely humiliated infront of the entire airport by their own staff, with zero apology or manners. NEVER fly here if you don’t want to be traumatised!!

Incompetent security procedures at…

Incompetent security procedures at Beauvais Airport, which directly resulted in my family missing our scheduled flight (FR25) to Dublin.

Despite informing security staff on several occasions that a significant number of passengers in the queue were waiting for the FR25 flight, no effort was made to prioritise or manage the situation effectively. We were repeatedly reassured by staff that we would make our flight, yet we were left waiting in the security queue for approximately one hour 20 minutes.

This delay was especially distressing given that we were travelling with our young family, including a child with Down syndrome, who requires additional care and consideration. The lack of awareness, support, and urgency shown by your staff in this context was extremely disappointing.

Upon finally clearing security, we proceeded immediately to the gate, only to be informed that it had already closed. This was despite the repeated assurances from your security personnel that we would be in time. The entire experience demonstrated a concerning lack of coordination and professionalism among airport staff.

As a direct consequence of this failure, we were forced to book alternative flights from Charles de Gaulle Airport at a cost of €1,800. In addition to the financial burden, this situation caused significant stress and disruption to our family. Our 12-year-old daughter suffered a panic attack as a result of the ordeal, which made an already difficult situation even more distressing.

I have never encountered such incompetence in airport operations, and I am extremely disappointed by the level of service provided.

Terrible experience at Beauvais Airport…

Terrible experience at Beauvais Airport (BVA), probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional: short, dismissive answers, arrogant attitudes, and zero willingness to help passengers.

The liquid rules are handled in an absurd and almost punitive way. You are forced to fit everything into one single tiny bag provided by them, and it doesn’t matter if you already have other perfectly compliant bags — they are not accepted. If something doesn’t fit, even if it’s expensive or actually necessary (like medical items), they simply tell you to throw it away. No explanation, no alternatives, just “throw it out.”

The organization is completely chaotic: extremely long lines, unclear directions, and staff who, instead of helping, only add to the confusion. On top of that, the rudeness is constant, as if answering basic questions were a burden.

As if that wasn’t enough, the airport is also very inconvenient: getting to Paris takes about 1.5 to 2 hours by car, making the whole experience even more stressful and impractical.

In short: disorganized, rude, inconvenient, and completely lacking any care for passengers. I would avoid this airport if possible.

Everything went wrong!

Everything went wrong. The airport’s security makes no sense. They ask you to take out your liquids from your bag just to put them into another bag. They ask you to take out everything from your backpack to pass the security detector, things like your hair straightener and your camera. Once you get to the gates, you don’t even have enough seats for everyone (there was an old man who needed a seat and couldn’t find one, I had to give it up for him). When I boarded, they made me wait out in the cold to enter the airplane (more than 20min). The cafe kiosk had barely nothing to eat at 7pm. I thought the worst part was the bus ride from the airport to the city center, but the airport experience itself was even worse. Never again traveling to Paris Beauvais.

The wort experience in our whole life

My family and I had come to Paris for three days of rest over the weekend, and when we were supposed to return to Cagliari (at Beauvais Airport), and we were at security, a member of staff threw away my little sister's dental medicine (which was quite expensive), even though we had explained the situation to her, and she mercilessly threw it away as if nothing had happened. Furthermore, when we were in Paris, my mother had bought a cream, also very expensive, and they threw that away, even though we had shown the receipt. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all because the other times when we left they didn't say anything to us, while this time they threw it away without any understanding. The security staff was very arrogant and completely incomprehensible.

⭐ 1 star The shuttle

⭐ 1 star The shuttle

I had a very disappointing experience with this shuttle service from Beauvais to Paris.

I bought a ticket but mistakenly selected the wrong airport. I contacted customer support within 30 minutes of purchase, and the trip was scheduled for the next day. I clearly explained the situation and asked for a refund since the service had not been used.

They refused, saying that refunds are not allowed according to their terms and conditions.

This response shows a complete lack of customer care. When a customer reports a mistake promptly and does not use the service, refusing any refund or solution is neither reasonable nor humane. Simply hiding behind “terms and conditions” is not good customer support, and some terms can be unfair or even contrary to basic consumer rights.

Good service is not only about rules — it’s about how you treat people. Unfortunately, this company showed no flexibility, no understanding, and no respect for its customers.

I would not recommend this service due to their poor treatment of clients.

Very badly run airport

Insufficient staff in all areas for number of customers)high volume of travellers. Stressful ambience. Lack of sufficient seating in departure areas. Toilets are disgusting, filthy with no seats! Worst airport ever visited and it is the same every time. Confusing considering they have to be making quite a lot of income from the huge number of customers
