No exchange possible and charging me more for a size exchange
I'm really disappointed with my experience with Aelfric Eden's customer service.
I ordered two pairs of trousers for my daughter, but unfortunately they were too small. As there wasn't an option to exchange them for a different size, I had to return them for a refund, wait for the refund to be processed, and then place a completely new order.
By the time my refund came through, the price of both items had increased such that the entire order would cost $20 more (not including shipping), which is a significant difference. I contacted customer service to ask if they would honour the original price, as this was effectively a size exchange and only necessary because of the lack of an exchange process on their part. They refused.
I don't think it's fair that a customer should have to pay more for exactly the same items simply because the company doesn't facilitate exchanges. Had a straightforward size exchange been possible like most retailers, this wouldn't be an issue.
It's also unusual, in my experience, for a retailer to expect a customer to pay a higher price when they're simply replacing the same item in a different size. Most retailers I've dealt with honour the original purchase price.
I wanted to be a returning customer of Aelfric Eden, but this experience has discouraged me from ordering from them again.
I'm still hopeful the company will reconsider its position and honour the original price so I can complete my daughter's order.

If I could give 0 star I would have. I have ordered 4 weeks ago and when they tried to attempt to deliver it to my address they said I have put a wrong address and said it is undeliverable. That is why they sent it back to the sender. I am so disappointed as I have been waiting for so long and was planning to use it as I am going for my holiday.

Were they said it would be changed.

After placing an order in the wrong size. I emailed customer service and within minutes they responded and corrected the order. Customer Service emailed communication confirming the size change was made and again when the order was shipped. That alone is worth shopping a brand online.
