Brand new fridge unusable – no support, no solution
We are extremely disappointed with AEG.
We received our new refrigerator (order no. 0021386975, delivered March 28), but it arrived with missing essential parts and visible damage. Because of this, the fridge is completely unusable.
What followed has been even worse:
- We immediately contacted customer service – no solution, only generic replies
- We tried calling multiple times – hours on hold, no answer
- We were forced to order the missing part ourselves from their own online shop
- That order has still not been shipped, with zero updates
So at this point:
- We paid for a new appliance we cannot use
- We paid again for a spare part we should never have needed
- And we are still waiting, with no concrete action from AEG
The only response we received was a standard message asking us to “please not follow up” because of high request volumes. This is simply unacceptable.
A company like AEG should be able to handle basic customer issues like missing parts and damaged deliveries. Instead, we are left without a working fridge and without support.
We expect:
- Immediate shipment of the missing parts
- A refund for the part we had to purchase ourselves
- Proper handling of the damaged product
Until then, we cannot recommend AEG to anyone.

The new made in Germany standard
Bought a new, really expensive dryer (900€!), which was supposed the be the best in the market, and a durable, long-lasting investment.
Literally just a couple of months after the two years warranty expired, the thing just dropped dead. According to AEG's "fair repair policy", they wanted almost 300€ to even show up. Didn't really get the "fair" part about it. Of course they didn't even consider a compromise/checking up the device, which I was really expecting as it is actually really new and the warranty just very recently expired. The lady on the phone literally shouted at me (German standard of customer service, I guess).
Putting this into context, I've recently purchased three large AEG appliances: dryer, oven and cooktop. All were junk, all had technical deficiencies, all were overpriced. Conclusion: don't get anywhere near AEG.
2 years of usage for the washing…
2 years of usage for the washing machine.. then one electric part stopped functioning. 2 months after, we are still waiting for the part and customer service is telling us we will need at least 3 more weeks to get the appointment. I would never buy this brand again.

I bought a dishwasher after giving the store my old model details. They assured me only two models would fit, so I chose one.
Their installer at home said though, it was the wrong model, took it back, and promised a refund.

I have bought an aspirator, and it came broken. We’ve called the company many times, but there was no answer; it sends us to a robot on the phone. I am very disappointed that it’s still broken and we are not able to use it.

Extremely dangerous ovens
For all the people thinking about to buy an oven, I must recommend to avoid the brand. The self cleaning feature or Pyrolysis seems great but it damages the oven. Just after using this feature, the oven started to turn on by itself, it was repaired, until using this feature again, then started to again turn on by itself.
It’s hard to understand how a feature integrated and advertised as secure to use, can make the oven damage; so insecure, a risk for your home and family. Disconnecting it from the electricity leaves you without stove, which becomes so inconvenient.

Mixed Feelings About AEG Vacuum Cleaner and Accessories
I recently purchased the AEG LX7-2 vacuum cleaner along with its accessories, and my experience has left me with mixed feelings. While there are certain positives, the overall quality of the accessories is disappointing.
The LX7-2 itself has decent performance and effectively cleans various surfaces, which is a definite plus. However, the accessories that come with it seem to be of subpar quality. The Joint and upholstery nozzle in particular feel flimsy and cheap plastic. which I did not expected from AEG.
As for the design and build of the vacuum cleaner, it's sturdy and looks sleek.
In summary, the AEG Vacuum Cleaner LX7-2 has its merits in terms of performance and design, but the disappointing quality of the accessories, especially the hard floor nozzle, has affected my overall satisfaction. I hope AEG can focus on improving the accessory quality to match their reputation.

I ordered a cordless vacuum cleaner…A unprofessional, unreliable and untrustworthy cowboy outfit!
I ordered a cordless vacuum cleaner about 3 weeks ago with full payment. They emailed confirming payment was received and my order was confirmed for a delivery, but have no delivery date.
I had no updates, tried ringing them after 2 weeks only to kept in cue for over 20 minutes before I gave up.
I tried their online support later, via chat and that was a waste of time as no one bothered to responded! I rang them today a week later, managed to speak to someone and asked the status of my order. I was horrified to be informed the product is discontinued hence I’ve not had any delivery! Feel absolutely annoyed and frustrated! Not only did they not let me know at the time of ordering but they didn’t even have the courtesy to inform me until the moment I called them! Asked why I wasn’t informed and the reply was that they were too busy!!!
Busy ripping others like me off???
They took the payment right away when I ordered but couldn’t be bothered to let me know they couldn’t supply. I wouldn’t trust them and certainly won’t order from them and I’d advise not to purchase from this company. Hopeless customer service at all levels! Now I just need to wait and hope my refund comes through soon!
Do not wast your money on AEG
Do not waste your money on AEG. Could not get any help and my Fridge Freezer is only just over 2 years old, bought in lockdown and couldnt get it fitted for a year, they don't give a s%$£. They won't help or assist. Terrible customer service, just wanted to sell me insurance. I just want my £800.00 fridge to work properly.
Dishwaser defect after a bit more of one year of use...No garantie service
I bought a dishwasher in July 2021 and the pump does not stop working att the end of the program. I have a i30 error message.
We sent a request on 09-01-2023 for service via the company who sold us the dishwasher (Keukenloods.nl) and we never got contacted by AEG. Keukenloods contacted AEG to know when they would take an appointment with us and promissed to contact us on 13-01-2023 but until now 18-01-2023 nobody contacted us.
I think that waiting 10 days just to get an appointment is way too long.
Moreover the dishwasher sometimes was not strating properly the program and needs to be restarted (around once a week).
Furthermore the quality of drying is far from being satisfactory.
This dishwasher is very expensive, not reliable and garantie of two years seems inexistant as nobody comes to repair or see the defect.
I strongly not advise to buy AEG. I would rather advise Bosch, whose technician was able to come and solve a problem on a washing machine in only 3 days!
Fast and decent resolution for broken oven
We got an oven installed that didn't work from the start. AEG Elektrolux Service was able to send a mechanic within 1.5 week, and even called to replan when the mechanic was sick. Then we got Mr Müller as technician, that made a great analysis, replaced the clock and got the oven working. Great service!
LTX6G261A-model failure for 3 months use

bought on July 21 2020 in Zora home-appliances store in Sofia
Those are the requisites bulgarian service department in Sofia required when I found my new AEG washing machine showed a failure. It had just finished 20' programme ,the only one I've been using so far, and I lifted the lid of the machine to take out the laundry. But to my surprise I found small white plastic particles all over in the machine.
which looked like as parts of a partially broke left end of the detergent dispenser. For more than a decade I dont use dispenser as I find liquid detergents better.
To make the story shorter, the machine is sold with 36 months warrantee, so I informed the authorised servise of AEG &Electrolux service in Sofia on October 29 and they've said their technician cant come earlier than a week later. He showed on November 5,2020 and after a short check and photos he said he'll contact the producer as he can not realize how this could have happened. He didn't fill in the service form although I asked for and said that that the drum is broken and he'll call us soon to tell us what to do.
I was really startled of the fact that a lady callled me on November 10 to say that the producer's oppinion is that we are to be blame for the broken machine and that they cant repair it free of charge. She mentioned that if we repair it the their official servoice we have to pay about 380 leva=
You might not know that for this wm we paid 749,00 leva,i.e. roughly 370 euro...and thats not a cheap washing machine in accordance with bulgarian standard. One can easily find a new washing machine with 3 years guarantee as cheap as 150 even less euro. But we never thought an AEG appliance would ever show such working
failures.
I really hope you send me any notice on the problem so would know whcih trade mark to prefer in the future.

Three years ago
Three years ago, I purchased AEG Favorit 65412 dishwasher, and have not been satisfied with its performance. The dishwasher has an indicator for low salt level, but it lights up when it is already too late. As a result, your plates and cutlery will have strong marks of limescale on them which are difficult to remove. In order to prevent the appearance of limescale, you should regularly open the salt container and check the salt level, since the indicator never provides you a timely warning. Also, although the dishwasher has a program for glassware, its performance is very poor and you have to wash your glassware again by hand. Finally, the customer service of AEG/Electrolux is very poor. For example, they never figured out the issue I had with the salt level indicator, and I finally found the answer from Internet forums. Based on my experience, I would never recommend AEG/Electrolux dishwashers for anyone, and if you are currently looking for a new dishwasher, Bosch is probably a lot better alternative.

we bought AEG appliances with our new HOWDENS kitchen around June of 2018. First our Dishwasher stopped working in April of this year and now the washing machine packed up last week.
Both the dishwasher and washing machine are covered under the manufacturers 2 year warranty.
AEG don't employ their own engineers, but rather sub-contract the warranty work out to a third party company and in our case called RESPOND SERVICES.
The dishwasher engineer, took nearly two weeks to come out to us and the washing machine is an eight day wait.
Both unacceptable time frames for product under a year old.
We bought AEG as we were sold on the notion that these were high quality and reliable products built by one of the best companies in the world....
Well I have lost all confidence in AEG and their products and their ability to at least put things right in what `I would expect would be a short time frame.
Clearly by farming out their warranty business to 3rd party companies the after sales experience is diluted and we are then at the mercy of a company I have never heard of.

The worst website I have EVER encountered. Slow and unreliable.
I bought six AEG kitchen appliances through Magnet Kitchens.
When I came to register them on line the AEG website is so slow it has taken 24 hours to register the six items. It falls over when I try to enter any data and it takes 20 or 30 attempts even to open the website and then it is so slow to open "My Pages" that the connections time out!
