Buyer Beware

The rims came with holes drilled into them so that the metal filings cut into the tubes causing flats. They literally couldn't even take the time to file them down. The "carbon fiber belt" snapped. The replacement belt came apart in a couple of weeks. The hydraulic brakes completely failed. The advertising is inaccurate and many reviews claim the bike comes with a Gates carbon fiber belt. In actuality, all of the components are cheap imitations. And the "support team" is just helpless AI drivel.

Ado Air 20

Ado Air 20: DO NOT BUY!!! I’ve had mine less than 1 year the worse £1500 ever spent. Belt drive snapped had to be replaced 4 months in, 250w motor struggles on hills, inclines wind. Built quality poor lost over a third of rear bicycle spokes already having to replace..

Travelling on train using bike stand this metal stand literally just snapped at the hinge clearly not fit for purpose..

Lastly the latch that folds the handle bar continuously works loose

Just the worse bike never again

I buy a ado e bike air 28

I buy a ado e bike air 28, spend almost 1500€, now they don't want to send a factur! I already report this company to the tax authorities in the Netherlands, for tax evasion. If I knew this company was like this I would buy here for sure. But I will wait one more day and if they don't send the factur I will return the e-bike and buy in another place with non criminal people.

ADO Bike Review: A Disappointing Experience

My experience with ADO Bike has been frustrating from the very start. I purchased a bike that arrived with multiple defects, and the support I received was far from satisfactory. Here’s a summary of the issues I faced and my interaction with ADO Bike's support team.

Initial Issues

Upon receiving my bike, I encountered two significant problems:

Rear Mudguard Installation: The screw hole at the rear frame, where the mudguard is supposed to be installed, was blocked by metal. This defect made it impossible to attach the mudguard properly, indicating a clear lack of quality control.

Front Mudguard Installation: The screw provided for the front mudguard was almost impossible to loosen, likely due to iron debris in the screw threads. This made the installation process extremely difficult and time-consuming, adding to the frustration.

Communication Breakdown

Despite reporting these problems immediately, I found myself waiting multiple times far longer than the promised 12 to 16 hours for a response from their support team. When they finally did reply, their suggestions were unhelpful and repetitive. Despite sending videos and photos of the defects multiple times, they continued asking for the same information.

Lack of Responsibility

Despite my detailed explanations, ADO Bike's support seemed more focused on minimizing their costs rather than providing a satisfactory resolution.

Conclusion

My experience with ADO Bike has been frustrating and disappointing. Their lack of quality control, poor communication, and unwillingness to take responsibility for their product's defects have left me deeply dissatisfied. I would strongly caution others against purchasing from this company, as their after-sales support is severely lacking.

In the end, I managed to fix the bike myself, but the entire process was far more difficult and time-consuming than it should have been. ADO Bike needs to seriously improve both their product quality and customer service if they want to retain their customers.

After you published my review yesterday…

After you published my review yesterday they have been in touch about return of ebike said they would email me a return label to print out but have failed to do so despite four messages to them today and I believe the carrier is arriving tomorrow what a company to deal with no UK numbers a very poor business

Be aware!
Very bad return policy, in Europe illegal?
Bad Service, no communication, no solution, no refund.
Bad Quality, akku power holds around 16 miles/20 km. Thats it.

Read this before you buy!

Read this review, very important before you buy a bike! I don't joke!

I bought two bikes from ADO bike, A20f +. One black and one white. It took longer than the description to get the bike home. When I got the bike home, it turned out that there were two black ones (!!!!). I contacted them and they were able to offer me a white one. But I would cover the shipping of 100 euros and waiting time of 4-5 weeks (because they had to get my black bike home and then send a new one). Or a compensation of 50 euros. After much discussion, I got 100 euros back.

After about 5 times of use, both bikes break. (5 days of use). One hacks and the other I get an error code and it doesn't go that fast

I don't want to keep the bikes because the quality of the bikes is incredibly poor and I want to make a repurchase. They do not agree to that, so now I have reported the incident to the Swedish Claims Board, and we will take it from there.

This is a rogue company. They only post good reviews on their website and filter out bad reviews (I left a bad review there and they never posted it). So they use fake ratings.

I will pass this on to all influencers on youtube and other platforms and spread this scam company. So that no one experiences what I experienced

See you to buy ADO bike bike! Cheap bikes, but just incompetent.
