Purchased a recon fan, never worked, after obtaining another fan from elsewhere and working perfectly fine, i tried to obtain a refund from adlink, adlink point blank refused to issue refund on part even after confirming fan was faulty. It was a fight to get a refund. Avoid using adlink and use the rival company euro boiler parts who are more trust worthy and reliable.
I purchased a brand new PCB from this company, but it turned out to be faulty straight out of the box. When I reached out for support, they refused to provide a refund or replacement, claiming they don’t offer refunds — which goes against basic consumer rights for faulty goods.
Their communication was dismissive and unprofessional, and I found their responses misleading. I will be contacting Trading Standards about this issue.
Very disappointing experience — avoid this company at all costs.
Ordered a refurbished Vailant boiler fan at a fraction of the price of a new one , arrived quickly and works as it should. One year warranty provided by Adlink , excellent service.
We purchased a timer switch for our boiler 8 months ago. The timer stopped working a few days ago and our engineer stated that it was faulty. We contacted ADLINk and immediately became offensive and demanded we contact Vaillant directly. We made every attempt to ask them to either repair the timer clock or replace it but they were having none of it. The house has been left stone cold for over 4 days but ADLINK insisted that we contact Vaillant and get a reference number from them. Vaillant was confused at this request and asked to contact ADLINK again, when we did they were adamant that Vaillant were wrong. We were left going backwards and forwards with no help whatsoever. Although Vaillant was very polite, they could only assist us by sending out their technicians to check over the timer clock which we would be charged for. During this time we were left with no heating in this freezing period. Eventually, our technician got one from Amazon the following day and fitted it. The boiler is now working as it should, but no help from ADLLINK whatsoever. It appears that if you buy anything from ADLINK and goes wrong even during their warranty period, they would simply give you the run around to avoid taking back any of the faulty goods they had supplied. We are in the process of talking to the trading standards also. In this day and age, you would expect good service and parts that are obviously faulty through no fault of the customers should be taken back without any fuss. Our engineer informed us that this is typical of ADLINK plumbing, heating and boiler parts in Perivale. This is the reason our engineer stopped using ADLINK. So please be careful when you shop from ASDLINK. Go elsewhere for your boiler parts and plumbing
AMAZING MARKETING. SHAME ABOUT MY BENT SSD!
Return via Amazon commenced!
Sticking to known manufacturers in future!
I sent a customer to pick up a Potterton 407466 board which is listed at £30 on their website and £27.40 on eBay . They charged him £55 in exchange. I called to complain when I found out and they said it costs them more to hand it over the counter than to send it out and I suppose pay PayPal and eBay fees. I will be not using them again and I suggest people look at PCB's4U which has better customer service
Update: Parts finally arrived, although five days late. Communication is definitely not this companies strong point, they never did call be back and required regular pestering. However the issue of none delivery seems to have been DHL's fault and after investigating Adlink did send another gas valve via Royal Mail next day delivery, emailed me the tracking details and refunded the delivery charge. The valve is new and does seem to be OEM (marked RESIDEO which is Honeywell's spin off HVAC company). Summary, Good products at a fair price, communication could be better, sort that out and they would get 5 stars.
Ordered a replacement Gas Valve from this company as they seemed to have OEM parts, not copies, and had them in stock for next day delivery as it was required in a hurry. 3 days later and no sign of the valve, emailed but got no reply, phoned and was told the item had been dispatched via DHL and they would chase up and call me back, One and a half hours later i called again having heard nothing, the person told me they were on lunch and hadn't done anything, but would chase and get back to me. I've still heard nothing y email or phone, the valves was meant to have been fitted tomorrow (hence paying for next day delivery) and I still don't have it or the £238 I paid for it.
Experience so far is 'don't touch them with a very long pole. If they redeem themselves tomorrow I'll update my review, but I don't hold out much hope.
