Incorrect names for Claimant, Defendant & Counsel

Subsequent to the response from Ubiqus below, they have continued to disregard my concerns about the Equality Act, S.19 and S. 20.

(Ubiqus review of 2 Jan 2022) On 4.11.2021, the legal department informed me that my transcript was “due to be completed by close of business on 11.11.21”. Fabulous.
On 11.11.2021, Ubiqus kindly informed me that my transcript had been sent to the court for approval of the judge, and that if I required updates I should contact the court myself.
On 12.11.2021, Ubiqus kindly informed that a small refund was due to me.
I contacted Ubiqus about whether it was really up to me to chase the court for my paid-for goods and mentioned that I was disabled.
On 15.11.2021, I made a complaint, which brought a speedy response and an agreement that Ubiqus would chase the court up for me as a "reasonable adjustment" (pursuant to the Equality Act, S. 20).
However, a subsequent email from Ubiqus indicated that they had not chased the court up for me.
On 21.12.2021, more than a month later, I lodged a county court complaint and copied in my MP, the CEO for HMCTS and Lord Wolfson.
5 hours later the transcript was emailed to me by Ubiqus. This was a great relief.
However, the name of the Claimant was incorrect (my name), the name of the Defendant was incorrect, and the name of the barrister was incorrect.
I have continued to contact Ubiqus and hope for an amended transcript.
(I can understand why they wanted me to chase the court, but it was genuinely too much for me and this has been an ordeal for me.)

We have followed the standard procedure that is set out by the Ministry of Justice and that all documents must be approved by the Judge before they are released to the client. As outlined in correspondence to you, we are happy to chase the courts for judgments when this is requested by the clients. Regarding the changes to the transcript these have been referred to the courts as per the standard procedure that is set out by the Ministry of Justice.

Fantastic service

Our organisation has worked with Ubiqus for a few years now to provide simultaneous translation at our events. They are always prompt in responding to queries and requests and provide us with a professional level of service and good communication throughout. We look forward to working with Ubiqus again soon.

Impeccable

Ubiqus provided six live Mandarin interpreters plus several pre-recorded overdubs for a high-profile international hybrid conference. The quality and service was excellent from start to end. The portal for uploading documents and receiving our overdubs was easy to use and satisfied our privacy needs. The sales, tech and interpreters were all friendly and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending this team and look forward to working together again

Simultaneous Translation

We hired Ubiqus to handle simultaneous translation for our medical education event. From the start, Filippo offered attentive service and support. The translators were clearly experienced in their field and we were quickly assured that the day would run smoothly. Overall, the event was seamless - we highly recommend this company.

Can I just please say a huge thank you…

Can I just please say a huge thank you to the team for helping us with our event. The livestreaming element, recording, and the media/camera/slideshow changes were exactly as planned, and we were really pleased with the outcome. The company were easy to communicate with, and made sure they fully understood what we wanted so they could get it right. Would highly recommend this company.

Terrible service. Do not use

Terrible service. They refuse to answer the phone to discuss anything, and overcharged me. They then refused to process a refund, as all monies are payable in advance before they do any work. They did send an invoice that included a partial refund and then subsequently refused to pay anything. I am now contacting my credit card to process the refund due. Do not use them. Too much miscommunication and dishonesty.

Scammers

Scammers. I did a huge project for them translation from Italian into Bulgarian and they asked me to retype it in Latin instead of Cyrillic which is ridiculous! I would never work with this company and I would spread the word.
