If I could rate them it would be a 0. Absolutely disgusting service, no reply to emails. The whistles I paid for were expensive, but very cheap! Doesn’t work at all. Avoid avoid at all costs. They never replied to my emails. I won’t ever be buying from this company ever again. I’m going to make a point not to buy from them! Please stay clear and do NOT order anything from them! Cheaply made and rubbish

No negotiation on cost the person ben feels to be very arrogant nor offer customizatiin like the whistle sells with strape . but they did sell them as single product .

I already had the 210half but was doing terrible with recall with my new dog. I phoned for advice and they were very helpful and knowledgeable and advised I needed the 211half for my type of dog which I ordered yesterday and it arrived today first class post. We've been on the park doing recall on a long line and the difference from the 210half is night and day,she looks round strait away,after 10 minutes on the long line on the park and another 10 on the beach i was able to let her off and have recall every time,just blowing once and using a visual cue of my arm out holding a piece of liver cake. I can highly recommend the whistle and J.Hudson.

Excellent service. The two emergency whistles we ordered arrived very quickly. We previously had a whistle from another brand but they needed a lot of puff to make a loud sound, and the mouthpiece wasn't very comfortable. I decided to try Acme instead as they've been around for a very long time and clearly focus on high quality products. We also watched a YouTube video of them manufacturing the whistles and it was interesting if youre interested in history/engineering/manufacturing.

My partner has always kept a whistle on his keyring for safety. Its especially important for him more recently as he has had a few falls because of a bad ankle, one of which he had to telephone me for help. So it's important for being able to attract assistance, but his most recent whistle from another brand wasnt very good. So I did some research and Acme seemed an excellent brand to purchase from. I didnt want to buy something cheap and nasty like the last one i'd bought him, especially since it could be vital if he falls and hurts himself.

I also bought myself one as I liked the idea of having an emergency whistle on my keyring. Might be a bit over the top carrying one but sometimes you read news stories of people being lost or injured and you wonder if a whistle could have attracted help if they couldn't use a phone.

The acme 649 survival whistle is used or reccomended by multiple life saving organisations. It takes very little effort to blow/make a sound, unlike our last one where you needed to exert lots of energy. It's also lightweight but sturdy, so can be kept on a keyring.

The whistles that arrived seem very high quality and pretty indestructible. So much better than the ones we bought previously from another brand. The sound/note that the whistles make is very attention grabbing.

It also comes in different colours so for my partners we chose black so that it doesn't look silly on his keys. I decided on bright orange as I don't mind the bright colour and it would be easier to locate if dropped (in the snow, for example).

A very useful thing to carry with you each day. Even for situations like if you're in a very crowded environment and your family and you get split up. If you're abroad and your phones aren't working then you could blast the whistle a few times to relocate your partner/family/group. People might stare and laugh mind you!

This involved a big purchase for us - engraved rose gold & silver whistles - and we cannot fault the courteous friendly customer service helping us through the process. The engraved whistles safely arrived the day after ordering! Excellent, cannot fault. Thank you.

Placed order on Friday and was charged £3.50 handling and postage fee. Received and email Shipping Method UK - Royal Mail 1st Class. Expected it to arrive at least on Wednesday but no. Called on Wednesday afternoon to be told it they had been busy and that it would be shipped out today should receive on Friday. Cancelled the order, very unsatisfied.
