Considering 142 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many customers expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of products, citing issues such as devices failing within months, poor battery life, and components falling apart. Reviewers frequently encountered problems with customer service, describing it as unhelpful, disorganized, and showing a disregard for customer concerns. The repair process was also a significant source of frustration, with reports of long delays, inconsistent communication, and devices being returned with unresolved issues or even more damage. However, some customers also noted positive aspects, such as good screen quality, quiet operation, and effective fan systems in certain products. A few people found the website easy to navigate and appreciated the prompt service, with some even receiving freebies with their purchases.

Highly against this company. Please buy from another.

Bought the "Acer Nitro 60 N60-181-UR24" from Amazon. No issues until about a week later, when the computer would instantly blue screen multiple times after startup. Thought instead to contact Acer and not Amazon about the issue, and after a week of pleading for help, they finally allowed me to ship the PC to their repair center. Received an email a few days after the arrival that the brand new PC was somehow damaged, and would cost $800 to repair. I gave up and asked them to send it back. I did not inspect what they had done until I sold the PC to a retailer- they completely wiped my C: Drive without telling me to "fix" the issue I had. I was told on the same email about the damage that they were going to do nothing due to the "major damage" (there was a small crack in the case). I am very upset with how my situation was handled, and would advise buyers to avoid buying this product and Acer in general. I currently have an ASUS pre-built now, and am receiving better treatment and care from the company than I ever would have thought.

ACER ASPIRE VERO 16 WITH NO POWER…

ACER ASPIRE VERO 16 WITH NO POWER SUPPLY!!!

I brought a laptop from Currys which was a hours drive as my Currys didn’t have in stock and my friend had the same one which I loved.

I took the Laptop home and there was no power supply in the box so I used my friends and called ACER the following day and the customer service is appalling and the customers service wouldn’t help and passed me to Technical and the Technial team wouldn’t send out the needed power supply and said I had to drive a hour back to Currys and swap the Laptop and I explained that all my personal details are on the Laptop and all i needed was the power supply sent in the post.

ACER still didn’t want to help and said again I have to go to currys.

I have also call Currys too and they tell me to go to ACER its been a week with no help or resolution and I have a Laptop I paid alot for that I cant use.

Also you can claim a free keyboard and mouse with the Laptop and when I asked ACER about this they said they cant help.

RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Very smooth experience

Very smooth experience. Easy to navigate and see all offers, and the payment options were also simple and clear, unlike my poor experience with Amazon.

Acer is atrocious

Acer has atrocious product quality standards and the most patronizing customer service. My Aspire 3 laptop, purchased brand new from Target in 2024, started breaking not 10 months after purchase. Whenever I plugged my laptop in to power, it would constantly switch between a status of "charging" and "not charging" even at the slightest twitch of the power cord. I thought it was an issue with the charger, so I contacted customer service and was sent a replacement charger. The same issue happened to the replacement, except this time it stopped working entirely so I had to switch back to the original faulty charger. After looking on Google and Reddit I found out that this is a repeat issue with the Aspire 3 laptop charging port, not the charger itself. Acer themselves have not made any effort to actually mitigate the issue, instead sending replacement chargers that they know will break anyway. On top of all of this, their customer service is incredibly patronizing and demeaning, and will always avoid giving a useful response to a serious issue and instead treat you like a child who doesn't understand anything. I'm never purchasing an Acer product again. This is an absolutely putrid company.

Customer support in UK are terrible

Customer support in UK are terrible

Asked for an email to confirm warranty policies and they said they'd do it as soon as they got off the phone, 5 hours later and still no email.

To make things worse, only had my computer for half a year and already seriously overheating and playing badly. I am surprised and disappointed with Acer.

I purchased a 10 inch Acer tablet last year . I did speak to the young salesman who sold it to me. I asked about it in general and he told me for the price it was a good deal. Not a Samsung of course but a good start it was my first . It's been a poor man's substitute. Charging is a nightmare despite buying numerous chargers including a fast one . It doesn't hold it's battery for very long and sometimes with perhaps 49% left it shuts down very aggravating . Had I known I would most certainly not have bought this .

A flagship Acer laptop failed in under a year and the repair process has been a struggle

I bought a high end Acer flagship laptop that cost a significant amount of money. It failed in under a year with no abuse or damage on my part. The screen went black at random, then stopped displaying entirely.

I work in government and rely on my equipment daily. I had to leave the country I was staying in and travel back to the United States to get this laptop shipped for repair. I missed work and spent time and effort trying to meet Acer’s requirements.

The repair process has not been smooth. I was not given expedited shipping to the repair center. I was not assured that the repair would be handled quickly. Communication has been inconsistent and confusing. For a premium product that is marketed as reliable, this has been disappointing.

Acer can improve by providing clear timelines, faster turnaround for warranty devices, and better support for customers who depend on their equipment. A flagship device should not fail this quickly and the repair experience should match the quality and price of the laptop.

Bought a laptop from there, there were complaints in the first few days of using it itself, and over time it's become worse, very poor battery life and everything just falls apart, componen after component, so not buy an acer laptop yall
