If you have the opportunity to do an internship abroad, do it. I loved exploring the city with new friends and gaining experience in the industry at the same time. I think a summer internship was the best option for me.
The housing was incredible and in a perfect area for moving around the city. The city was safe and had a lot of things to do. The activities helped me to meet other students and make new friends. The company I worked for was good and the people were friendly and kind to me, I felt at home all the time.

My experience was awesome, I had a wonderful housing experience, since Starbucks was just down stairs, and a supermarket in the same building, where I could easily buy and cook in my room different dishes using very unique recipes.

Where do I start? The experience was brilliant and I enjoyed my time on my programme. Did to my own personal circumstances I could only do the 4 week programme but wish I could’ve extended my time there. Despite not knowing any Spanish and only knowing small words here and there which I picked up over time from the other interns I was with, I still managed to have a great social but also interning experience. The accommodation was extremely safe and was also very clean and tidy with the rooms being cleaned regularly during my stay. All in all a great experience that I would 1000% recommend to others

Absolute Internship was an all round amazing experience from the easy application process, great internship placement opportunities and social aspect. The team was incredibly supporting when it came to the process, organising interviews and making sure we had all the information needed prior to the placement. Aurore and the team in Paris we’re integral in making my month unforgettable; they immediately made sure we felt safe and comfortable and organised amazing activities to get to know the group and make the most of the city. Aurore was fab in getting to know each of us well and suggesting activities in line with our specific interests. My placement itself has helped me gain essential industry skills and extend my network long term!

My summer in Paris with Absolute Internship was an ideal balance of structure and independence. The way the program was structured allowed me to have a fully immersive and formative experience in Paris - feeling like I was truly able to appreciate and settle into the culture - while being confident that I had a support system around me whenever I need it. The housing was pristine, and the ability to access different facets of Paris through Absolute's recommendations and formal programming was a positive addition. Absolute is a great opportunity to have an experience abroad that is both personally and professionally fulfilling.

This was one of the best internship companies I have ever been to. Not only do they provide the good internships that help add to your skills but also provide us with the best experiences in the places it takes place in. I highly recommend. 👍

My team leader Aurore was brilliant, always there for me when I needed her and welcomed me in so many different ways. She was helpful, funny and it felt she was more of a friend than a co-ordinator.

I was paired up with a company based on my interests, and that worked out very well! The activities and trips that we did throughout the weeks were amazing, and also had some great lunches and dinners. It was fun meeting kids from my own college, along with people from other colleges. The experience with Absolute was extremely worth it, and an unforgettable experience overall. The program coordinators were very kind and helpful and did a great job making the abroad experience run smoothly. Highly recommend.

This opportunity is one you should not miss out on! From the beginning, Absolute Internship were so supportive and helpful in finding and securing a placement for you. Once in Lisbon, I did not want to leave! I met so many new friends, built connections in the workplace and gained invaluable experience. Absolute were always there if you needed support or just wanted a chat; they helped create such amazing memories that I will remember forever. I could not be happier that I decided to do this internship!

Firstly, the interview process between myself, my university, and Absolute, ultimately led to a great company match in relation to what I was studying and my interests. This process was straight forward and stress free, leaving a positive impression for what I had to look forward too. Soon enough, once I had secured my internship, I found myself working day to day at one of Europe's fastest growing fin-tech firms.
After a day of interning, I enjoyed spending my free time with other peers in my group. My group included other international students, as well as individuals from my home country. Absolute hosted social gatherings and trips around the country which fostered a positive environment and made me feel welcome.

The internship abroad that i’ve done with absolute was a very enriching experience. I applied for the programme in barcelona and I did my internship in a company working in the luxury event management. The program coordinator followed me through the whole phase before departing, during the experience and after the return i’m still in contact with some of them! Excellent people and the events organized were very fun and enriching, since they did some seminars focused on the job world.

I loved all of the planned activities and weekend trips so we could get to know each other better and explore the country! Our coordinators made it so so fun with the best recommendations of things to do on our own time - bars, restaurants, beaches, etc.

I went on the Seoul Program with Absolute Internship in June 2023. It was away to experience Korea before going on my study abroad to France the September after. After completing both programs, I can safely say that I very much prefer the structure and opportunities Absolute provide. Whilst in Korea, I was able to see so many different things with amazing new people, all while taking part in some amazing career opportunities. It really is an experience I cannot recommend more!

I couldn't recommend a program like this to anyone more. Absolute was able to find me an amazing internship with a company that reflected the career path I was looking for which not only looked great on my resume, but gave me a great experience. The program calendar is a bit more organized than most other study abroad programs which allowed me to get closer with other people in the program and fully enjoy the most of Portugal with a native coordinator.

Obviously being abroad in Barcelona was great in and of itself but absolute made our great experience a guarantee. Our program leader Anna Robles was awesome and knew where all the coolest spots were, taking us not just to the popular tourist attractions but places she had discovered and was genuinely excited to share with others. She was knowledgeable, fun, and supportive throughout the trip and made the adjustment to living in Europe about as seamless as you could hope. Our other main guide Charlie was amazing too, and when together Anna and Charlie made the whole group feel like family, I loved my experience and would 10000% recommend to anyone who even thinks it’s a possibility for them, and if you don’t know if it really is a possibility then reach out to absolute and they’ll help you figure that out. Thank you absolute for everything and an experience I’ll never forget!

My Absolute Internship experience in Barcelona as a design student was truly transformative. Working with a small skincare company, I gained hands-on experience in design and marketing, while immersing myself in the vibrant culture of the city.

The guidance and support from the professionals at the company were invaluable in enhancing my abilities and understanding the industry. Being in Barcelona provided a rich cultural experience, with its inspiring atmosphere, diverse design styles, and vibrant festivals. The program also facilitated connections with talented individuals from around the world, fostering a multicultural environment. Collaborating with fellow interns and professionals allowed for a cross-cultural exchange of ideas and the opportunity to build a global professional network.

Absolute Internship's support was exceptional and gave me a sense of protection in a foreign city including the program coordinators. Olivia was my program manager and from pre-departure guidance to continuous assistance throughout the internship, the staff was responsive, helpful, and attentive.
