I was charged £10 for a can of Pepsi I paid for with my bank card. I contacted abercromby who swiftly replied to tell me it was my bank and not the vending machine. True enough 24hrs later my bank had only charged me 1.20.

I used this vending machine company at Glasgow Royal Maternity for a bottle of Diet Coke. I could not see a price displayed but used my debit card anyway.
The company immediately removed £10 from my bank account and to date the balance whatever it is has not been credited back to my account.
I object to the sum of £10 being removed immediately from my account and certainly will be more cautious in the future. If everyone is initially docked £10 when they purchase an item despite whether or not it it refunded at a later date that is a lot of tenners.
Had issue with machine charged but no drink and when contacted they could see machine hadn’t given drink and was quickly refunded .
