Delightful Inn in a scenic harbor
My wife and I were on a morning stroll along the coastline of Abbekås in Southern Sweden. We came across The Abbekås Hotel: A sign showed that they were always open so we went in. Our Host the owner named Bjørn was seated on a sofa with his dog in the far corner. He graciously gave us a cup of coffee and we promised to return with friends the following evening, so... We returned the following evening with friends and had a delicious meal... Leo our server, was most attentive, even though he seemed to be handleling 10 tables at once. He did this with ease:)
Bjørn, the innkeeper, was not present, but on the previous morning he had shared that he had been a journalist from Stockholm region. He quipped that he wanted a subway built from Stockholm to Abbekås, no mean feat as Stockholm is several hundred miles to the northeast.
I heartily recommend the Abbekås and Hotel Hamnkrogen if your are looking for a delicious meal served in a warm, convivial atmosphere!!!
