Managing 50+ machines across our production floor.

Managing 50+ machines across our production floor. Tried two other platforms before this one and both fell apart past about 20 printers. 3DPrinterOS has handled the load without issues for the past eight months. Not flashy, just works. The reporting side could use more export options but overall it does what we need it to do.

Thanks, Gaia. Really appreciate the feedback.

Glad to hear 3DPrinterOS has been able to handle your production environment reliably. Also appreciate the note on reporting exports, definitely something we’re continuing to improve.

We run a small makerspace in our public

We run a small makerspace in our public library and this was a game changer for us. Patrons used to have to find a staff member every time they wanted to print something. Now they upload files themselves and we just approve the queue. Freed up so much of our time. Printers actually get used now instead of sitting there because nobody wanted to bother us.

Thanks so much for sharing this. We’re really happy to hear the system has made things easier for both staff and patrons. Exactly the kind of outcome we hoped for.

Took over managing our campus fab lab

Took over managing our campus fab lab last year and inherited a mess. 30 printers across two buildings, no centralized tracking, students walking over to check if a machine was free. We set up 3DPrinterOS and within a couple weeks the whole workflow changed. Students submit from their laptops, I can see what's running from my office, and we actually know where filament is going now. Only grips is the intial setup took a bit of back and forth to get our older Ultimakers talking to the platform, but their support team was responsive and sorted it out. Would not go back to how we ran things before.
