We have used Simon Kitchen‘s service for several years now and they are excellent. He always turns up well on time even at „silly“ hours, e.g. 3am in the morning. We can definitely recommend him.

2double7 Private hire is owned and operated by Simon Kitchen in Portishead specialising in travel to airports, cruise travel , and pre-booked journey assignments (short and long) for many different occasions.
We needed transport to and from Southampton Cruise terminal for a P&O cruise on the IONA to Norway between Aug 5th and Aug 12th ,2023.
Simon used his Mercedes Van , very spacious and comfortable for my wife ,myself and our luggage.
Simon is an excellent safe driver and a wonderful caring person for which nothing is too much trouble.
He was in Southampton about 7am , resting up and having breakfast before picking us up somewhat later.
Price was fair and competitive too.
Would highly recommend.
We will be booking another cruise soon using Gatwick for departure to the Caribbean and Simon will be part of those plans.

We have used Simon so many times over the years. From pub pick ups, getting my Nan home on Xmas day to more recently, many airport runs. Can easily book online. 100% reliable. Great communication. Excellent value. Lovely guy. I wouldn't use anyone else. Fantastic service.

Simon made it easy for my husband and l to take his 91 mother to the airport, he collected us in plenty of time, and delivered us close to the Departure area, helped us all the way, a very kind man.
Our return flight was delayed by 48 minutes, but after a quick call when we were nearly at the exit, he was there to collect us, helping us with Mum and the luggage.
Thank you so very much Simon, we will see you for our next holiday

Was let down by another taxi firm and contacted 2double7 and had a taxi sent out to me at the time i requested. They arrived on time and i was greeted with a very friendly driver and made me feel at ease my whole journey. Will be using them again and i recommend them to anyone

We used 2 double 7 for our airport run there and back. What an absolute brilliant team. Got us to the airport in plenty of time and on our way home we were asked if we wanted to stop off at a local garage to collect bread, milk etc.. Excellent customer service, kind, friendly and extremely efficient. We as a family would highly recommend to anybody needing a taxi however long or short the distance is you want to travel. Safe to say we have used since.

Called 2double7 after another company let me down, 7pm one night for. 5.30 airport transfer the next day. The driver was bang on time, super professional and very reasonably priced. Would definitely use again. Recommended!

Excellent! Not only was my taxi early to pick me up, but they also sent a lady driver which I so appreciated as a woman travelling by myself late at night. Will definitely use these guys in future!
