10-4 horror story

Oh boy, where do I even begin with my 10-4 horror story? Picture this: I eagerly ordered the Dewalt Combi Saw, only to receive a broken mess thanks to the transportation gods. Naturally, I complained with pictures and all the same day, but it seemed like my cries for help were lost in the void for over a week. No phone number to call, so I had to resort to raising another complaint, demanding a refund.

Now, here's where the real comedy starts. The project I needed the saw for? Already done and dusted. Meanwhile, the 10-4 Customer service was playing a game of "pass the problem" and telling me to wait for someone else to solve it. Time wasted, frustration levels rising.

And then, out of the blue, they decide to ship a replacement machine to me. Bravo, 10-4, bravo. Clearly, my request to cancel the order and get my money back was just a suggestion, easily ignored. I can only imagine my emails sitting in the SPAM mailbox, probably being sorted by a part-time school kid.

To add insult to injury, the price of the saw dropped since I bought it. Naturally, I asked for a refund of the difference. But surprise, surprise, no response after two reminders. It's like they're playing a game of "let's see how much we can frustrate this poor customer."

So, my dear friends, if you're in the mood for an expensive headache, go ahead and shop at 10-4. But if you value your sanity and want to avoid dealing with their "stellar" customer service, run far, far away. Let's hope 10-4 takes some serious steps to improve, because right now, they're the punchline of a bad joke.
