This is the best free hosting and the best thing here is that it is simple, unlike other similar hosting services.

I was quite disappointed with the service.
First of all, 000webhost boasted a "no ad" free hosting, but they still end up putting an always-visible "Powered by 000webhost" badge on your website.
Secondly, they don't have any out-going traffic - PHP curl() just don't work, which also means you cannot remote install themes or plugins from the wp-admin. They also tries to hardcode premium hosting ads into your wp-admin page, which is simply annoying.
The control panel isn't so great also - the experience on mobile is half broken.
Finally, they require you to check the 000webhost dashboard once for a while even if there's no practical reason for you to do this. They said this was to "ensure the free services are not abused", but this isn't very persuasive.
000webhost is far from a good hosting, even if it is free.

The free website gives you access to a lot of access to the standard control panel just like the paid subscription.
