What a superb service
What a superb service, I was tasked with selling my late fathers rather large whisky miniature collection and George could not have been more helpful or efficient. The auction was great fun to watch and the final proceeds exceeded our expectation. Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend WVA
I have used WVA Auctions quite a few times and I have found both George and Becca to be extremely helpful with my sales. Their communication is excellent and the collection arrangements are timely and simple. The payment for sales is very quick and I would highly recommend WVA Auctions.

Brilliant service
George, Becca and Fred are a great team at WVA. Nothing is ever a problem for them. It is really helpful having the cut off date so close to auction start unlike many other auctions. Payments too are made very quickly giving the best opportunity to turn your money and sellers fees are really low. For buyers delivery is really quick and fees are also low.

Great experience
Collected my bottles, listed them and sold them, such an easy transaction and very happy with the prices. The thing that stands out the most is i got paid 4 days after auction. No messing around holding payments like other larger auction houses do.

Transparency and efficiency at their best
(Buyer experience). Accurate bottle descriptions. A convenient feature when you bid: it displays the actual final price (bid + fees + VAT), so no nasty surprises at checkout. Cherry on the cake: Bottles delivered the following day.

I won a lot in April and I got taken to hospital as I was ill and had to stay in for a few weeks and when I came out paid for my item plus I emailed them to say I was in hospital they have emailed me to say they are refunding me my money as my item got put back in the Auction that is on now.

Thank you for this review. We have looked into this for you further and this bottle was won in our March Auction. The bottle was relisted and sold due to non payment and non contact from you in our April Auction.
You then made contact to say you’ve been in hospital (which we hope you are now well and fully recovered). You then made payment after another 3 weeks.
Making the total time for payment 8.5 weeks.
We explained that the bottle was relisted and sold at our clients request and that you will be fully refunded.
We feel your your 1 star review doesn’t seem to reflect on our customer service , as a company we did all we could to contact and resolve the matter, as you can understand we followed our clients instructions due to no contact.

It's a great auction website
It's a great auction website, I have only bought to date, so from a buyers view it's certainly been a safe and proficient experience so far, purchases can be insured for delivery for a relatively modest fee, although I must say that the packaging is so impressive that the bottles would have to be opened and turned upside down for anything untoward to happen to them.
